Dreams

Dreams

By Langston Hughes
November 30, 2016

Hold fast to dreams,
For if dreams die,
Life is a broken-winged bird,
That cannot fly.

Hold fast to dreams,
For when dreams go,
Life is a barren field,
Frozen with snow.

REWRITE HISTORY

An evolved future for mankind would be possible if wise men would
rewrite said history, based upon newfound truths, so that mankind
can finally truly evolve.

Otherwise history keeps repeating itself, because man
did not or will not learn from their recidivist mistakes.

True change is achieved with the realization that history is/was
written by the victor, or the ones who hold on to a position of
power, and the realization that history is twisted and biased.

Every holy book has been manipulated, kept secret (i.e. the
women's status in holy books) to control the people.

There is no truth in lies and human beings are still lost, still
roaming, being blind in the land of the blind.

Large and ancient, cultivated civilizations like the Inca's, the
Aztecs, the Greek, the Romans, Spain and France's world empires,
these rich cultures were frequently destroyed by delusion of
grandeur.

As in the Renaissance en the enlightenment period thereafter,
which was a very clarifying period where there was a latency
to want to change in favor of the human race and for the inner
well being of the latter.

All those civilizations lost, only history remains and almost all
knowledge and wisdom from those civilizations, disappeared.

Our modern civilization is still based on primal instincts.

In the era of the anthropoid ape, there was no spoken language
and they communicated by emitting sounds and using gestures.

At that time in history, lying did not exist because it was easy to
read the body language (the truth does not need many words).

Women were very important, for they gave birth to new life, and
newborns were a gift from the Gods (men did not yet now of his
contribution to new life).

Men had a serving role and were protectors of the tribe.

After man figured out he was an important contributor to the
continuity of his kin, the importance of women/men changed as
men seized more power and this translates to: the more power,
the more descendants (primal instinct).

A man wants to transmit as many genes as possible and a woman
seeks a suitable candidate, who is strong, powerful, handsome,
wise etc.

And although man still considers himself a conqueror,
the final choice lies with women.

A man can only try his best, boast with a nice car,
beautiful/expensive clothes, be muscular etc.

Another primal instinct of man is the will to hunt, which can be
seen in modern masculine behavior, when he steps out of his car
to swiftly approach his goal, or in a store, consciously making a
choice (to be the first predator approaching the prey).

Man pulled himself closer to power, wanted to be king of the hill
and stay as such.

The alfa male, a great leader to his tribe, endeavors to obtain
providence, happiness and wellbeing for his followers and thus
avoids suffering.

From that point of view to seize and remain in control of power,
the holy books were written to subdue, oppress and control the
people.

I would, myself, like to believe, but my faith is one of Love,
eternal light, conscience and soul.

And while I respect believers and non-believers alike, when it is
a genuine choice by free will, everyone is free to believe who or
what they want.

At least when it is not harmful for the development of the
individual and the community.

UNKNOWN POSSIBILITIES

If an individual can learn, why wouldn't mankind be able to?

Imagine the unlimited possibilities it would have, where we'd
be as humans, if we were to be guided from the beginning by
spiritual and factual truths.

These are, among other things: to care for our descendants,
protect, raise and educate our own, love and contribute to
society.

Spiritual truths: develop one's self (rise and fall) as a human being,
grow spiritually from love -- we do not achieve anything in this life,
we are merely on the way to it -- We have had so many enlightened
spirits and great thinkers like Jesus Christ, Buddha, Mohammed,
Ghandi, Bagwan and the Dalai Lama.

All of them examples of how an individual can evolve, but
collective awareness is still in its baby steps regarding this.

For the time being, there is no collective awareness.

COLLECTIVE AWARENESS (EVOLUTION)

Where would we be this instants, if our collective awareness
had been developed?

People claim Einstein had the biggest brain and that Jesus Christ
could perform miracles.

When we develop LOVE (divinity), the sky is the limit.

If science was to serve mankind.

If children could benefit from real education, to be stimulated
and able them to develop their talents and aptitudes.

GREETINGS TO THE NATURAL WORLD

The People

Today we have gathered and we see that the cycles of life continue.

We have been given the duty to live in balance and harmony
with each other and all living things.

So now, we bring our minds together as one as we give greetings
and thanks to each other as people.

Now our minds are one.

The Earth Mother

We are all thankful to our Mother, the Earth, for she gives us all
that we need for life.

She supports our feet as we walk about upon her.

It gives us joy that she continues to care for us as she has from
the beginning of time.

To our mother, we send greetings and thanks.

Now our minds are one.

The Waters

We give thanks to all the waters of the world for quenching our thirst and providing us with strength.

Water is life.

We know its power in many forms‐waterfalls and rain, mists and streams, rivers and oceans.

With one mind, we send greetings and thanks to the spirit of Water.

Now our minds are one.

The Fish

We turn our minds to the all the Fish life in the water.

They were instructed to cleanse and purify the water.

They also give themselves to us as food.

We are grateful that we can still find pure water.

So, we turn now to the Fish and send our greetings and thanks.

Now our minds are one.

The Plants

Now we turn toward the vast fields of Plant life.

As far as the eye can see, the Plants grow, working many wonders.

They sustain many life forms.

With our minds gathered together, we give thanks and look forward
to seeing Plant life for many generations to come.

Now our minds are one.

The Food Plants

With one mind, we turn to honor and thank all the Food Plants
we harvest from the garden.

Since the beginning of time, the grains, vegetables, beans and
berries have helped the people survive.

Many other living things draw strength from them too.

We gather all the Plant Foods together as one and send them a
greeting of thanks.

Now our minds are one.

The Medicine Herbs

Now we turn to all the Medicine herbs of the world.

From the beginning they were instructed to take away sickness.

They are always waiting and ready to heal us.

We are happy there are still among us those special few who
remember how to use these plants for healing.

With one mind, we send greetings and thanks to the Medicines
and to the keepers of the Medicines.

Now our minds are one.

The Animals

We gather our minds together to send greetings and thanks to
all the Animal life in the world.

They have many things to teach us as people.

We are honored by them when they give up their lives so we
may use their bodies as food for our people.

We see them near our homes and in the deep forests.

We are glad they are still here and we hope that it will always
be so.

Now our minds are one

The Trees

We now turn our thoughts to the Trees.

The Earth has many families of Trees who have their own
instructions and uses.

Some provide us with shelter and shade, others with fruit,
beauty and other useful things.

Many people of the world use a Tree as a symbol of peace
and strength.

With one mind, we greet and thank the Tree life.

Now our minds are one.

The Birds

We put our minds together as one and thank all the Birds
who move and fly about over our heads.

The Creator gave them beautiful songs.

Each day they remind us to enjoy and appreciate life.

The Eagle was chosen to be their leader.

To all the Birds‐from the smallest to the largest‐we send
our joyful greetings and thanks.

Now our minds are one.

The Four Winds

We are all thankful to the powers we know as the Four Winds.

We hear their voices in the moving air as they refresh us and
purify the air we breathe.

They help us to bring the change of seasons.

From the four directions they come, bringing us messages
and giving us strength.

With one mind, we send our greetings and thanks to the
Four Winds.

Now our minds are one.

The Thunderers

Now we turn to the west where our grandfathers,
the Thunder Beings, live.

With lightning and thundering voices, they bring
with them the water that renews life.

We are thankful that they keep those evil things
made by Okwiseres underground.

We bring our minds together as one to send greetings
and thanks to our Grandfathers, the Thunderers.

Now our minds are one.

The Sun

We now send greetings and thanks to our eldest Brother, the Sun.

Each day without fail he travels the sky from east to west,
bringing the light of a new day.

He is the source of all the fires of life.

With one mind, we send greetings and thanks to our Brother,
the Sun.

Now our minds are one.

Grandmother Moon

We put our minds together to give thanks to our oldest
Grandmother, the Moon, who lights the night‐time sky.

She is the leader of woman all over the world, and she
governs the movement of the ocean tides.

By her changing face we measure time, and it is the Moon
who watches over the arrival of children here on Earth.

With one mind, we send greetings and thanks to our Grandmother,
the Moon.

Now our minds are one.

The Stars

We give thanks to the Stars who are spread across the sky
like jewelry.

We see them in the night, helping the Moon to light the darkness
and bringing dew to the gardens and growing things.

When we travel at night, they guide us home.

With our minds gathered together as one, we send greetings
and thanks to the Stars.

Now our minds are one.

The Enlightened Teachers

We gather our minds to greet and thank the enlightened
Teachers who have come to help throughout the ages.

When we forget how to live in harmony, they remind
us of the way we were instructed to live as people.

With one mind, we send greetings and thanks to these
caring teachers.

Now our minds are one.

The Creator

Now we turn our thoughts to the creator, or Great Spirit, and send
greetings and thanks for all the gifts of Creation.

Everything we need to live a good life is here on this Mother Earth.

For all the love that is still around us, we gather our minds together
as one and send our choicest words of greetings and thanks to the
Creator.

Now our minds are one.

Closing Words

We have now arrived at the place where we end our words.

Of all the things we have named, it was not our intention
to leave anything out.

If something was forgotten, we leave it to each individual
to send such greetings and thanks in their own way.

Now our minds are one.

The Left Politicizes Everything

The Left Politicizes Everything

By Christopher Manion
Lew Rockwell.com
November 21, 2016

A long time ago there appeared in the once-revered New Yorker
a cartoon.

The scene was a concert venue, where a string quartet was about
to perform.

As the audience grew quiet, the cellist coughed, laid his bow to
one side, and said:

“Before we begin, I would like to say a few words about the war
in Viet Nam.”

Back then it was funny. Today it is a farce.

As a long-time music critic for Saturday Review and High Fidelity
magazines, I had a lasting and fairly informed impression that the
rudest audiences in the country were in Boston.

Enter New York.

When Donald Trump’s VP Mike Pence decided to have a relaxing
evening away from work with his wife last Friday, they went to
see Hamilton, a popular musical.

No sooner did they arrive, than the tony crowd erupted in catcalls
and boos.

Gee, these poor rich kids had never seen anybody famous before!

The braying continued interrupting the performance,
which descended into pure swill and culminated with
an asinine political pout by some actor from the stage.

He and his “diverse” fellow performers were “alarmed and anxious”
by Mr. Trump and Mr. Pence, he plaintively whined, apparently on
the edge of tears (why they’d all gone out and gotten concealed
carry permits the day after the election!)

This canned insult was, as they say, “staged.”

What lessons can we derive from this?

First, the principle: the Left politicizes everything.

Everything.

From preschool to the New York stage, the Left politicizes
everything. Even at musicals, the Red Guard is watching.

Second, the tactic: the mode of politicization adopted by
the Left is that of that fat blowhard from North Korea.

You know, the one where, if you fall asleep during one of his
dazzling and endless orations, you get blown up as an artillery
target practice target for your sins.

Third, the moral: yes, they are sins. The Left denies the Spirit –
Remember, Karl Marx said you can even ask about it.

That’s the forbidden question, after all.

So all “sins” are dumped into the Left’s callous cauldron of politics.

Fourth, the players: the cast members are desperate for work.
There are thousands of talented wannabe stars lined up in the
wings ready to take their place.

They have to perform–not their assigned lines, of course, but their
assigned role as plastic dummies casting frightened shadows on the
walls of Plato’s cave. One false move and the Thought Police will
send you to the Ministry of Love.

Andres Segovia, who virtually created the classical guitar and much
of its repertoire, performed as a soloist throughout the world.

If someone in the audience dared clear to his throat as silence
was descending upon the concert hall, el maestro would pause,
slowly look up, and cast a scornful look in that poor soul’s
direction.

Silence would return.

But not to New York. No, not one member of the union cast of
Hamilton dared to shoot a silent glare at the boorish glitterati,
who were gloating in their opportunity to degrade the evening’s
experience.

Insist on simple dignity?

Why that would offend the audience full of shallow millionaires
who insisted on perverting the performance with their pompous
preening.

No, that cast member would be exiled and become an instant
has-been.

His career over, he would never again be called to audition for
a role at Central Casting.

Diversity does, after all, have its limits.

Fifth, the mandatory self-abasement of the repentant bourgeois:
to top off the fraudulent charade, a designated cast member read
a statement to the audience, directed toward Pence.

Why the cast was “alarmed and anxious” by the election! (Pence
should have sent them all balloons, milk, and cookies, but I
digress).

Sixth, the lie: Of course, the pretense of the peroration was
that it was Trump who alarmed these star bound snowflakes.

Not so. They were not afraid of Trump. After all, what could
he do to harm them? Nothing.

But wait – who could harm them? Who were they really afraid of?

The dirty little secret: the cast members were scared to death that
the kingpins in the entertainment industry would punish them
forever if they did not debase their supposedly artistic performance
into just one more hackneyed political stunt.

They are afraid for their careers.

They were afraid, all right, and they should be: if they do not
mouth the Party’s required perorations, their career will be
finished.

Consider: why couldn’t one cast member stand up and say,
“Look, I’m just an artist, let’s keep politics out of it.”

Those words you will never hear in the entertainment world
no more than you will ever hear a sweet young thing arriving
in Hollywood just off the bus from Kansas tell the casting
director at her first audition, “Look, I’m a virgin, just let me
try out for the part on my own merits.”

Hamilton’s cast is terrified and their fears are real. Jobs are
tight in the entertainment world.

The competition in Show Biz is every bit as tough as the NFL
or the NBA.

For every one on the field or on the court, there are literally
millions of wannabes who didn’t make the big leagues.

One of my music partners with a successful worldwide operation
tells me that for every classical pianist on a major stage, there
are literally a thousand worldwide who are just as good.

That’s why you’ll see gimmicks galore – a branded persona,
a slinky dress, PR flaks galore, a painfully stage-managed
shtick that Liberace would envy.

Back to New York:

There’s a popular story among music critics.

Sir Thomas Beecham was once conducting an opera
at Convent Garden. The cast included a real horse.

Even the finest horses cannot be house trained, of course,
so this non-union bit player did his part by relieving himself
on stage.

Sir Thomas, baton at the ready, turned to the audience
and said, “Egad! A critic!”

This time around, the cast of Hamilton didn’t even need
the horse.

Nor did the New York boors.

They are two-dimensional apparatchiks programmed to cheer
the Deal Leader or, when challenged by reality, to indulge in
their two- hour version of the Two Minutes Hate.

To quote Bo Diddley, who do they love?

Consider: had Madonna the self-proclaimed pro-Hillary fellatio
queen, walked in that night, they would have stood up and
cheered.

No doubt a lot of them would have gotten in line.

Obama's Hollow Legacy

Obama's Hollow Legacy

By Margaret Kimberley
Counterpunch.org
November 19, 2016

Obama’s legacy is in tatters, and that is good news.

Donald Trump’s victory was not just a win over Hillary Clinton,
but against Democratic Party policies that silenced the rank and
file.

For years Democrats became convinced that the only means of
keeping Republicans at bay was to go along with their party
leadership without complaint.

If they wanted to expand trade deals that stole workers’ jobs,
so be it.

The people who marched against the invasion of Iraq folded
their tents when Democrats became the party of endless war.

When Obama promoted austerity and, “grand bargains” with
Republicans not a word was uttered.

Even Black Lives Matter refused to point out that the Obama
Justice Department left killer cops unpunished.

Barack Obama is nothing if not consistent.

While Democrats take to the streets in protest against president
elect Trump, Obama declares that the man he once called unfit
is not an ideologue, but a, “pragmatist.”

No one should be surprised about the conciliatory tone. Obama
never had a problem with Republicans.

They may have obstructed him, but he was always happy to assist
them because he wasn’t really opposed to their policies.

The most obvious example of Obama’s lack of substance was
his relationship with black Americans.

His disdain and contempt for the people who loved him the
most was clear to anyone who paid attention.

Jokes about “cousin Pookie” and parents serving fried chicken for
breakfast should have been seen as the racist screeds they clearly
were.

But the desire to see a black face in a prominent place endures
to our detriment.

Obama won by making himself palatable to white people while
also taking advantage of undeserved black pride.

Hillary Clinton would be the president elect if the new voters who
emerged in 2008 had remained committed to the Democratic Party.

But their loyalty was to the imagery of Barack Obama as president.

Their joy was confined to seeing him meet the queen of England
alongside his first lady or disembarking from Air Force One with
his signature swagger.

The sight of Barack and Michelle hosting a state dinner was enough
to make black hearts swoon.

Policy initiatives need not intrude upon the love fest.

The end result of this unrequited and superficial love was
six million fewer votes cast for Hillary Clinton in 2016 than
for Obama in 2012.

The apocryphal cousin Pookie stayed home and no one should
be surprised. There is no secret to keeping voters engaged.

They are engaged if their needs are met. Deliver for voters
and they deliver in the voting booth.

Even the unpopular and shady Hillary Clinton could have won
Michigan if the people of Flint had received the federal help
they needed so badly.

Not only did the Obama environmental protection agency allow
the beleaguered city to be given contaminated water, but he
showed up for a photo opportunity and did nothing else as
residents suffered.

He drank a glass of water, posed for the cameras and returned
to Washington.

The people of Flint are still living under conditions Americans
think of as being, “Third World.”

The response to Trump’s victory should mean more than protesting
policies the Democrats now have little ability to fight.

This moment presents an opportunity for much needed
introspection and mea culpas.

Millions of people did more than just accept Democratic
Party policy.

They supported actions they would have rejected if carried
out by a Republican or a white Democrat.

They supported Muammar Gaddafi when Republicans
were president but averted their eyes to his murder
when committed by a Democrat.

They even voted for the person who bragged about the killing.

Democratic voters must ask themselves why they said nothing when
their party promoted trade deals that were against their interests.

Ultimately that acquiescence led to defeat at Trump’s hands.

The Obama team’s propaganda skills were legendary but the day
of reckoning revealed the, "emptiness" of what they produced.

The corporate media acted like scribes under White House direction
and declared that Russia was an enemy state and its president a
21st century Hitler.

Now it is Donald Trump, the self-promoting reality television star,
who declares his willingness to talk to his Russian counterpart.

It is the sort of behavior that Democrats once valued.

Democratic presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton began the
tradition of getting Democrats to support what they didn’t like.

Obama perfected the art, which ultimately led to the debacle.

He will certainly not be the last to tempt the party faithful but
in 2016 Democrats sold their souls and ended up with nothing.

Defeat creates the most hollow feelings of all.

The Color Purple

For those who would seek to ascend the throne of royalty by their
own ambition, the color, "Purple" also signifies jealousy.

Jealous ambition was the original sin of Satan, who said, "I will be like the Most High" (Isaiah 4:14).

Jealous ambition seeks ruling power, which is the prerogative of God.

Thus, purple also is the color for jealousy.

An Open Letter To Black People

An Open Letter To Black People

By Expotera
November 15, 2016

Dear Fellow Black People:

My name is Tony Whitcomb and I am one of the 13% of African
American males who voted for Donald Trump for President last
week.

I am also one of the .0000000001% of black men who is both the
Founder and CEO of his own multi-billion dollar Internet start-up,
which was completely, "STOLEN" away from me, by a, "White Guy"
by the name of Bill Gates and also by a, "Black Guy" by the name
of Barack Obama.

I am also a black man who once upon time was married to a,
"White Woman" and together we have a bi-racial child, a child
that I have not seen and/or spoken to for over 18 years now.

So in short, I have now personally seen both, "The Good" in all
people, as well as, "The Evil" in all people, but as an intelligent
black man I have now personally seen and personally experienced
the, "Most Evil" from the white people and the black people who
openly support, "The Establishment" so this is why I decided to
openly support, and vote for, "Donald J. Trump" simply because
I hate, "The Establishment" and I also, "Hate" both Bill Gates
and Barack Obama as well.

You see my fellow black people, in addition to helping Bill Gates
completely steal my company away from me, "Barack Obama" has
now borrowed more money than all 43 previous, "White Presidents"
combined, which has now resulted in the United States of America
now being well over, "$20 Trillion Dollars" in debt, AND, this has
also now directly led to Mr. Donald J. Trump being elected the
next, "President" of the United States of America as well.

Now as, "Black People" we have absolutely positively every right
to feel both extremely, "Hurt" as well as extremely, "Angry" simply
because Barack Obama has now borrowed well over, "$10 Trillion
Dollars" yet as black people, the only thing that most of us got out
of any of this was a free, "Obama Phone" while the already rich and
famous black people got to visit the, "White House" a little more
often, as well as got to keep all of their individual jobs, titles,
and positions inside of, "The Establishment" as well.

This is where the term, "Sellouts" comes from, because in order
to be a, "Rich" and/or a, "Famous" black person living over here
in the United States of America, you have to first prove to those
who are now willing to make you both rich and famous, that you
will instantly become a, "Sellout" for them, as soon as they decide
to make you both rich, as well as famous.

But if you are unwilling to become a, "Sellout" you can create
the next, "Big Thing" out on the Internet like I have now done,
but, "The Establishment" will do everything within it's power to,
"CRUSH" both you, as well as your, "Company" which is why I now
live to, "CRUSH" the establishment and as far as I am concerned,
last week's, "Presidential Election" was only round number one.

Now when it comes to President-Elect Donald Trump and his fellow,
"White" Republicans all I can honestly say at this point is, "The Jury"
is still out, simply because as a black man who helped Mr. Trump
actually, "Win" this election, I am not feeling a whole lot of, "Love"
appreciation, and/or respect, from President-Elect Trump or from
any of his fellow, "White" Republicans, as of yet, but as a black man
I understand that some white people will never, ever, ever, see any
of us as black people as their, "Equals" per say, so it really doesn't
matter how much we, "HELP" any of them, because history has
shown, they have very, very, very, little respect or appreciation
for any of us, no matter how honest, wise, gifted, talented, or, "Smart" we are.

So inclosing my fellow black people, it really doesn't matter who
you decided to vote for last week simply because as a poor or
middle class black person now living in the United States of America
we have never, ever, ever, had anyone sitting in the, "White House"
who has ever, ever, ever, really given a, "Rat's Ass" about any of us,
which is why I am now waiting for, "President-Elect Trump" and his
new Administration to now prove me, "WRONG" because over this
past year this black man in particular has done nothing but proven
Mr. Donald J. Trump, "RIGHT" so the proverbial ball is now in his,
"Court" and I will be sure to let each of you know if he, his family,
and his fellow, "White" Republicans, decide to pass the proverbial,
"Ball" now back to me?

Sincerely,

Tony Whitcomb

Final Inspection

Final Inspection

A Veterans Day Poem

By Sgt Joshua Helterbran
November 11, 2016

The Soldier stood and faced God,
Which must always come to pass,
He hoped his shoes were shining,
Just as brightly as his brass.

“Step forward now, you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?”

The Soldier squared his shoulders,
and said, “No, Lord, I guess I ain’t,
Because those of us who carry guns,
Can’t always be a saint.

I’ve had to work most Sundays,
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I’ve been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.

But, I never took a penny,
That wasn’t mine to keep…
Though I worked a lot of overtime,
When the bills got just too steep.

And I never passed a cry for help,
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I’ve wept unmanly tears.

I know I don’t deserve a place,
Among the people here,
They never wanted me around,
Except to calm their fears.

If you’ve a place for me here, Lord,
It needn’t be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don’t, I’ll understand.”

There was a silence all around the throne,
Where the saints had often trod,
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.

“Step forward now, you Soldier,
You’ve borne your burdens well,
Walk peacefully on Heaven’s streets,
You’ve done your time in Hell.”

Winning The Race

Winning The Race

By Kevin Eli
Hello Poetry.com
November 9, 2016

From last to pulling first
Underdog all the way

David is beating his Goliath
Winning with his gains

Took a down
To make an up

Slim grin
Courage and experience

Finally it's now payday

Found the energy drink of emotion
That liquid juice of intense life

Drives the will forward

Giving confidence
He's moving up the ranks

Seen the errors of the past
His will is strong

The crowd is cheering
Wings outdrawn

This takes no effort at all

Can do this for weeks
Can't feel pain anymore

He's going for first
Silver won't cut it

Whether it's a wish that's chased
A life trying to be made

The distance is relative

Infinite space
In the face

Bull-rushed
Heart of a child

And beat of a bass drum
Nothing is stopping him now

Started knowing
Not where to finish

Relentless
You gotta give credit to those who go the limit

Insanity or determination
