Wake Up, America!

Wake Up, America!

By Robert Ringer

Now that the Dirty Dems are openly pushing socialism, it’s a good
time to address the most misused word in the dictionary: right.

It’s a word that’s pretty much synonymous with entitlement.

The subtle difference between the two is that right has a much
stronger moral connotation to it than entitlement.

It’s very official sounding, as though it were handed down from on
high, while an entitlement suggests victimization, which connotes
weakness.

That said, to those millions of Americans who are seriously thinking
about boarding the Socialist Express:

Other than life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, there is no
such thing as an absolute right or absolute entitlement.

True rights are those given to us by our Creator.

All other rights are created in the minds of collectivist dreamers
and scoundrel politicians.

In other words, the Founders did not create the idea that life,
liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are fundamental human
rights.

They simply reaffirmed what is axiomatic to anyone who believes
in the sanctity of natural law.

Sadly, many people actually believe in the idea of artificially
created rights, and even though such “rights” also have been
around since the founding, until relatively recently they did
not pose much of a problem.

That all changed, however, when FDR introduced Americans to the
welfare state, and artificial rights have been gaining traction at an
accelerating rate ever since.

Further, now that Democrats have pulled off their masks and are
openly promoting victimhood as the underlying philosophy of the
land, the shocking idea of manmade rights has achieved a
respectable enough status to be seriously debated in the public
square.

A federally mandated $15 per hour minimum wage, free college
tuition, a guaranteed minimum income, reparations for descendants
of African-American slaves, Medicare for all, and every other zany
component of the Green New Deal are all on the table and being
vigorously discussed by elitists.

And the boss of all this, by her own proclamation, is a 29-year-old
former bartender who is economically illiterate. No, make that
completely illiterate.

Though I’m always hesitant to give the perennially shiftless Barack
Obama any undo credit, I have to admit that his clumsy attempt
to “fundamentally transform the United States of America” has led
directly to millions of heretofore sleepwalking citizens wondering
if the transformation he was referring to is the kind of country they
really want for their children and grandchildren.

It’s important to point out, however, that it’s not just the
Dirty Dems who are touting socialism.

Sure, Republicans like to obsess about reforming entitlements, but
who among them has been courageous enough to talk openly about
taking away people’s artificially created rights?

Make no mistake about it, the third rail of politics is very scary
to the Washington establishment.

Since artificially created rights are just that — artificial — the only
way to implement them is through government’s never-fail trump
card: force.

Delusions aside, government is nothing more than a criminal
organization held together by the threat of brute force — and
actual force, if that becomes necessary.

Political power does, indeed, grow from the barrel of a gun.

Millions of Americans delude themselves about this reality, but
the cold, hard fact is that government can do anything it damn
well pleases to you, your family, and your property through the
threat of force — and, when necessary, the actual use of force.

If you doubt it, I would suggest you check with Roger Stone
or Paul Manafort.

Sadly, most people tend to ignore what government’s essentially
unrestricted use of force means in real terms.

Their normalcy bias tells them that we have checks and balances
in place via our three branches of government, thus a Stalin, Hitler,
Mao, Castro, or Maduro could never happen in today’s America.

Alas, they are hopelessly naïve.

Whether it’s Waco, Ruby Ridge, taxation, the silencing of
free speech, or the regulation of consenting-adult activities,
government force is always the trump card.

Government doesn’t need to be morally, or even legally, correct.

All it needs to be is ruthless, and it has never shied away
from meeting that challenge.

Conservatives love to fret that we’re on a path to becoming
a European-style social welfare state, but that’s hardly news.

We’ve been on a social-welfare path for decades.

To the credit of Americans, however, they have demonstrated that
they have the ability to overcome the momentum of the Socialist
Express, though it has become increasingly difficult to combat the
Radical Left’s rhetoric about such abstracts such as “social justice”
and “fairness.”

In truth, of course, implementation of the Democratic agenda has
nothing to do with fairness, but everything to do with government
force.

After all, if the rich aren’t willing to give poor people a, “fair shot”
the government has no choice but to use force to bring about
fairness, right?

It’s an alluring con that never fails to convince millions of low-
information, low-IQ voters who are overcome by envy that they
need government’s help to “level the playing field.”

If the statists in Washington really wanted to bring about fairness,
the fairest thing they could do would be to allow people to opt out
of any government programs and regulations — including taxes — in
which they do not wish to participate.

Unfortunately, government takes that option off the table and
instead embraces the role of being the number-one aggressor
against the natural rights of a supposedly free people.

The bottom line to all this is that artificially created rights
implemented through government force constitute a violation
of natural law, a violation that leads ultimately to tyranny.

Worst of all, those who do not believe such a thing to be possible
in the United States of America are sure to be caught unprepared.

Do not allow yourself to be included in this group of wishful
thinkers.

Wake up, America!

The Two Korea's Have Set A Model For American Diplomacy

The Two Korea's Have Set A Model For American Diplomacy

By Michael Haas

February 26, 2019

A Road Map for peace between the two Korea's now exists.

An agreement signed by both countries on September 19, 2018,
provides a model that President Donald Trump and North Korean
Leader Kim Jong Un may follow at Hanoi.

The agreement, in turn, is similar to the Road Map that normalized
relations between the United States and Vietnam.

The Korean Road Map provides detailed goals to implement
the Panmunjom Agreement of April 2018:

(1) secession of all hostile acts, (2) transformation of the
Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) into a Peace Zone, (3) neutralizing the
maritime boundary into a peace zone, (4) increased contacts,
exchanges, and visits, (5) and a revitalized institutional framework
for consultation between the two military forces.

A step-by-step process of mutual cooperation within the DMZ,
which separates North from South Korea, was then established:

(1) withdrawal of all guard posts, (2) withdrawal of all firearms,
(3) joint recovery of soldiers missing in action, (4) minesweeping,
(5) a joint road.

By the end of October, most steps were completed.

Some 5,700 persons crossed the joint road during 2018.

A train passed from South Korea to the northern border
of North Korea to determine where repairs are needed.

The United Nations Command (UNC), the 17-nation military force
that defended South Korea during the Korean War, has been
transformed as a result.

In October 2018, the UNC, headed by American General Vincent
Brooks, met with representatives from the armies and North and
South Korea.

UNC is already neutral arbitrator between the two Korea's as
they take steps in the DMZ.

Whatever happens in Hanoi must build on existing confidence
building measures between the two Korea's.

Those critical of having the United States sign a peace declaration
should remember that Washington never signed the 1953 Armistice.

Neither did Pyongyang or Seoul.

But two Korea's did so in April 2018, and the only holdout has
been the United States.

Afterward, a joint working group can be assigned to design an
elaborate peace treaty.

The ultimate beneficiaries of continued de-escalation toward peace
are the people of North Korea.

Fearing American first-strike capability and occasional threats,
Pyongyang has over prepared by treating the country as a potential
war zone, considering even subtle dissent as disloyalty.

When North Korea is less concerned about American aggression,
unpleasant human rights conditions can improve for the people.

Putin Threatens US Soil If Missiles Deployed In Europe

Putin Threatens US Soil If Missiles Deployed In Europe

By teleSUR
February 22, 2019

Russian President Vladimir Putin, during his annual presidential
address to the legislature Wednesday, criticized the United States
for ignoring the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) treaty
by deploying missile launchers in Romania and Poland.

"First it started developing and using intermediate-range missiles
it deceitfully called targets for missile defenses. Then it began
to deploy the Mk-41 launchers in Europe, capable of using
intermediate range cruise missiles Tomahawk for combat purposes,"
he said.

"By doing all this the United States blatantly ignored the provisions
contained in articles 4 and 6 of the INF Treaty."

Russia will respond to any U.S. deployment of short or
intermediate-range nuclear weapons in Europe by targeting not
only the countries where they are stationed but the United States
itself, Putin warned.

He also said that the U.S. should calculate the flight range and
velocity of Russian weapons before taking steps that can pose a
threat to Russia.

"This is certainly their right to think this way. But can they make
the calculations? Undoubtedly they can," Putin said. "So let them
calculate the range and speed of our advanced weapon systems."

"This is the only thing we ask to do — make the calculations first
before passing decisions that may pose additional serious threats
to our country and will certainly entail Russia’s counter-measures,"
Putin said.

However, the president said that Russia was not seeking
confrontation and would not take the first step to deploy
missiles in response to Washington’s decision this month
to quit a landmark Cold War-era arms control treaty.

"We are not interested in confrontation and do not want it,
moreover with such a global power as the United States," he
said. "However, it seems that our partners take no notice how
rapidly the world is changing and where it is heading. They
carry on with their destructive and obviously erroneous policy."

But in case of a threat, “Russia will be forced to create and deploy
types of weapons which can be used not only in respect of those
territories from which the direct threat to us originates but also in
respect of those territories where the centers of decision-making
are located,” the president said.

Alleging Russian violations, Washington said this month it was
suspending its obligations under the 1987 Intermediate-range
Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF) and starting the process of quitting
it, untying their hands to develop new missiles.

The pact banned either side from stationing short and
intermediate-range, land-based missiles in Europe and
its demise raises the prospect of a new arms race between
Washington and Moscow.

A National Emergency

A National Emergency

By Expotera
February 16, 2019

Yesterday President Trump declared a, "National Emergency"
in regards to building a wall along the southern border of the
United States of America.

The United States of America is currently well over, "$22 Trillion
Dollars" in debt, yet no one out in Washington D.C. is officially
declaring a, "National Emergency" in regards to any of this simply
because everyone out in Washington D.C. has absolutely positively
no plans, as well as no intentions of ever paying any of this money back.

So to anyone out there who is still willing to borrow money to the
United States of America at this present time, all I can say to you
is.....

Roses In Heaven

Roses In Heaven

By The Last Boy In Line
Monday, February 11, 2019

If roses grow in heaven Lord,
Please pick a bunch for me.

Place them in my Mother's arms,
And tell her there from me.

Tell her I love and miss her,
Then when she turns to smile,
Place a kiss upon her cheek,
And hold her for a while.

Because remembering her is easy,
I do it everyday,
But there is an ache in my heart,
That will never go away.
