Acting more like a Soviet triubunal, the judge went on to deny
his every request.

the British court ruled that he must remain in prison.
His shocking mental and physical condition after being held for
months in UK’s notorious Belmarsh prison only confirms the UN
torture official’s assessment that he is being tortured by the US
and UK governments.

Hillary Clinton, not long ago the nominee of the Democratic Party,
had some choice words about the state of American politics.
“I’m not making any predictions but I think they’ve got their eye
on somebody who is currently in the Democratic primary and are
grooming her to be the third-party candidate,” Clinton said on a
podcast with former Barack Obama aide David Plouffe.
“She’s the favorite of the Russians.”
Clinton appeared to be talking about Hawaii congresswoman
Tulsi Gabbard, a combat veteran.
She wasn’t done, teeing off on former Green Party candidate
Jill Stein:
“[Jill Stein’s] also a Russian asset… Yeah, she’s a Russian asset
— I mean, totally. They know they can’t win without a third-party
candidate.”
She went on to talk about Donald Trump:
“I don’t know what Putin has on him, whether it’s both personal
and financial … I assume it is.”
Hillary Clinton is nuts.
She’s also not far from the Democratic Party mainstream,
which has been pushing the same line for years.
Less than a week before Clinton’s outburst, the New York Times —
once a symbol of stodgy, hyper-cautious reporting — ran a feature
called, “What, Exactly, is Tulsi Gabbard Up To?”
The piece speculated about the “suspicious activity” surrounding
Gabbard’s campaign, using quotes from the neoconservative think-
tank, the Alliance For Securing Democracy, to speculate about
Gabbard’s Russian support.
This was the second such article the Times had written.
An August piece, “Tulsi Gabbard thinks we’re doomed“ hit nearly
all the same talking points, quoting Clint Watts, an ex-spook from
the same think-tank, calling Gabbard “the Kremlin’s preferred
Democrat” and a “useful agent of influence.”
The Times article echoed earlier pieces by the Daily Beast
and NBC.com that said many of the same things.
After Clinton gave the “Russian asset” interview, it seemed for a
moment like America’s commentariat might tiptoe away from the
topic.
Hillary Clinton has been through a lot over the course of a career
and even detractors would say she’s earned latitude to go, "loony
biscuits" every now and then.
A few of the Democratic presidential candidates like

Trump for defending Stein and Gabbard, noting sarcastically,
“He was supposed to pretend they were not all on the same
team.”
Ana Navarro on CNN said, “When both the Russians and Trump
support someone, be wary.” An MSNBC panel noted, in apparent
seriousness, that Gabbard “never denied being a Russian asset.”
CNN media critic Brian Stelter tried to suggest Hillary only seemed
wacko thanks to a trick of the red enemy, saying, “It feels like a
disinformation situation where the Russians want this kind of
disinformation.”
The, “Russians caused us to say that crazy thing about Russians”
meme has been a recurring theme.
When Luke Harding of The Guardian was criticized for a thinly-
sourced report that Julian Assange had met with Trump aide Paul
Manafort in the Ecuadorian embassy, an anonymous CIA official
penned an editorial in Politico suggesting that if the story was fake,
“the most logical explanation” was a Russian disinformation effort
to discredit journalists.
Everyone is foreign scum these days.
Democrats spent three years trying to prove Donald Trump
is a Russian pawn.
Mitch McConnell is, “Moscow Mitch.”
Third party candidates are a Russian plot.
The Bernie Sanders movement is not just a wasteland of racist
and misogynist, “Bros” but — according to intelligence agencies
and mainstream pundits alike — the beneficiary of an ambitious
Russian plot to, “stoke the divide” within the Democratic Party.
The Joe Rogan independents attracted to the mild antiwar message
of Tulsi Gabbard are likewise traitors and dupes for the Kremlin.
If you’re keeping score, that’s pretty much the whole spectrum
of American political thought, excepting MSNBC Democrats.
What a coincidence!
Democrats now are assuming the role once played by Republicans
of the Tom Delay era, who denounced everyone opposed to the
War on Terror as, “Saddam-lovers.”
In the midst of this in 2003, the Washington Post protested the way
American journalism was, “infected with jingoism and intolerance.”
That was after Rupert Murdoch’s New York Post ran a headline,
“Don’t aid these Saddam-lovers” about “appeasement-loving
celebs” like Laurence Fishburne, Tim Robbins, Samuel L. Jackson,
Sean Penn, Danny Glover, and Susan Sarandon.
Today, the New York Post is the paper crying out against the “sad,
sick conspiracy theories” about Gabbard (an “Assad-lover” instead
of a “Saddam-lover”), but some of the other players are the same.
Sarandon is regularly denounced now by Democrats instead
of Republicans, this time for having supported Stein in 2016,
an act seen as equivalent to having tongue-kissed Putin on
live TV.
She was also one of a handful of celebrities noted for a,
“controversial” political donation in the Daily Beast’s red-baiting
May article about the suspicious contributors to Gabbard’s
campaign.
The #Resistance has come up with all sorts of words for such fifth-
columnists and deviationists: they are, “false-balancers” or “false
equivalencers,” “neo-Naderites,” “purity-testers,” “both-sidesists,”
“whataboutists,” “horseshoe theorists,” “Russia skeptics” or
“Russia denialists,” and “anti-anti-Trumpers.”
Such heretics are all ultimately seen as being on, “Team Putin.”
This witch-hunting insanity isn’t just dangerous, it’s a massive
breach from reality.
Trump’s campaign was a clown show. He had almost no institutional
backing.
His, “ground game” was nonexistent: his, “campaign” was
a TV program based almost wholly around unscripted media
appearances.
Trump raised just over half the $1.2 billion Hillary pulled in (making
him the first presidential candidate dating back to 1976 to win with
a funds deficit).
He didn’t prepare a victory speech, for the perfectly
logical reason that he never expected to win.
Even if you posit the most elaborate theories of Russian
interference (which I don’t, but of course I’m denialist
scum), what happened in 2016 was still almost entirely
a domestic story, with Trump benefiting from long-developing
public rejection of the political establishment.
Rather than confront the devastating absurdity of defeat before
an ad-libbing game show host who was seemingly trying to lose,
a black comedy that is 100% in America’s rich stupidity tradition,
Democrats have gone all-in on this theory of foreign infiltration.
House speaker Nancy Pelosi even said as much in a White House
meeting, pointing at Trump and proclaiming: “All roads lead to
Putin.”

A little over a year ago, I wrote an article for this publication
called, “The Liberal Rehabilitation of George W. Bush Is Complete,”
and so it’s my regrettable duty to inform Ellen DeGeneres that her
palling around with George W. Bush at a Dallas Cowboys game
Sunday—and her subsequent sanctimonious defense of such as
a gesture of benevolent friendship meant to heal our fractured,
angry nation—is too late.
Michelle Obama’s Werther’s Original has melted away,
and there’s nothing left but dry mouths and hacks.
It would be easy to get angry at Ellen’s hollow gesture of comity,
the post-relevant liberal trailblazer sharing her nachos with
America’s most prominent living homophobe, warmonger and
torturer, the man who presided over what remains the greatest
orgy of murderous violence in this not-as-young-as-it-used-to-be
century, the heckuva-job glad-hander who sleepwalked through
the deaths of perhaps 1,800 people—many of them horrifically by
drowning—in one of the most terrible natural disasters in American
history, a virulent racist who defeated another sainted American
cretin, John McCain, in a South Carolina primary by accusing him
of miscegenation.
But what is American public life, and especially American political
liberalism, if not a perpetual Operation Paperclip—the post-war
intelligence operation to smuggle useful Nazis into America so they
could build us weapons against the next, bigger threat?
The periods of moral convalescence vary, but the next looming
national catastrophe always appears on the horizon, and the
former persona non grata, who has bided his or her time by
doing something respectable like sucking salaries out of think
tanks or semi-retiring in laconic politeness to a family compound,
slink back at the first sign the new vulgarities are even more
outré and intolerable than his or her own vulgar outrages.
People will tell you—in the case of Ellen and George—that it is
primarily an element of ruling class solidarity, that the millionaires
and billionaires will always have more in common with each other
than with you.
There is certainly some truth there, but how then to explain the
you-go-girl cheering of so many fans of Michelle Obama, or Ellen?
It cannot be simply a matter of that old American pathology,
personally misidentifying with people vastly richer than oneself
through a form of aspirational Stockholm syndrome.
Nor is it a symptom of America’s evangelical morality with
its fundamental belief in the power and ubiquity of personal
redemption. We all know that there is no one meaner and
more unforgiving than someone who believes they’ve been
forgiven for their trespasses and redeemed for their sins,
including the ones they haven’t gotten around to committing
just yet.
But the more fundamental problem is that Americans are too nice.
That may seem like a paradox, since we are a country that blithely
bombs the world and then weeps with self-pity and affronted
dignity when the little people we just stomped on fail to forgive us
for tearing out their fingernails.
In fact, our niceness is itself a symptom of the moral obliviousness
that permits us to enact atrocities in the first place.
Niceness is not friendliness, not hospitality, not charity and not
goodness.
Niceness is the blank grin on the face of the psychopath: it is the
public enactment of all the forms of love and kindness without
the troublesome burden of loving anyone or treating people with
kindness.
This is what an Ellen DeGeneres is really getting at when she brags
about being friends with those who have “different beliefs.”
It is not a matter of actual emotional attachment to any system
of values, and it’s certainly not a matter of transcending minor
political squabbles to form some approximation of a community.
We are all friends with people who have different beliefs.
It is quite literally nothing to brag about.
For all the now-clichéd talk of America sorting itself ever more
by affect and affinity group, pretty much every social person has
friends with beliefs that differ—in ways large and small—radically
from their own.
Rather, she is saying that it is more personally and professionally
convenient just to be nice to whatever person happens to be in the
same grandstand for the same spectacle of large men grievously
njuring each other.
It is not that there are disparate values to be bridged in order
to form a diverse and tolerant society.
Instead, it is hankering after the ease of a society in which there
is no necessity to form a core of values beyond the practical
calculation of personal and social advantage.
In 2003, not long after George W. Bush declared “major combat
operations” to be over in Iraq, American soldiers kidnapped and
detained an Iraqi woman not much older than Ellen DeGeneres.
They took her from Samarra to Tikrit, where they forced her
to stir human shit, which they set on fire with lighter fluid.
When she told them she could stir no longer, a “sergeant came up
to [her] and whispered in [her] ear, ‘If you don’t, I will tell one of
the soldiers to fuck you.’
Well, that is indeed a regrettable episode, but I’m sure everyone
learned a valuable lesson, and it is certainly not—16 years later—
a reason to be rude to the guy responsible.

Last night at a huge campaign rally in Minneapolis, Minnesota
President Donald Trump absolutely positively ripped into Joe Biden
and his son Hunter by openly saying that Biden was only a good vice
president because, "he understood how to kiss Barack Obama's ass."
This one line from President Trump incited lot's of laughter,
very loud cheers and a standing ovation from his over 20,000
"Red MAGA Hat-Wearing" supporters.
President Trump went on to further mocked Biden and his son at
length by accusing them of being both extremely dumb, as well as
extremely corrupt and by also publicly stating: "The Bidens got rich,
and that is substantiated, while America got robbed, Sleepy Joe
and his friends sold out America."
So in truth and in closing, "Sleepy Joe Biden" really doesn't have a
prayer, nor does he have an answer, and/or a comeback for any of
this, and it is President Donald J. Trump's, "ASS" he must now also
publicly kiss.

No Matter Who Wins In 2020, There Will Be Blood

The machinations of an illiberal left, on display in its ever-
increasing violence accompanied by the ululations of a propagandist
media in contravention of an imaginary “white supremacist” right,
have riven the nation into diametrically opposed camps.
The right will never accept socialism, while the left will accept
nothing less.
Trump Wins
Those on the left will not allow a Trump victory, even should
he win the popular vote and the Electoral College.
They are used to getting what they want and like spoiled brats,
have learned that tantrums work.
Should Donald Trump prevail in his bid for a second term, the left
will go insane, deploying every “insurance policy” weapon at their
disposal to negate four more years of the Orange Man.
What Obama, Comey, and Brennan et al. did to Trump in his first
term will seem mild in comparison to what the left is planning
should he win.
Antifa, the military arm of the Democratic Party, has not spent
the last three years practicing and organizing merely to sit on
the sidelines.
They have used the interregnum to mobilize and learn tactics,
while probing to find what government will allow, media will
trumpet, and the public will endure.
The skirling “resistance” has morphed from pajama-boy blobs
of perpetually offended little dictators and pussy-hat sporting
shriekers into balaclava-wearing avengers who crave the
opportunity to put deplorables in their place and give them
the government they deserve good and hard.
They will flood the streets after a Trump victory in their Antifa
costumes looking to bust the heads of anyone near enough to
become part of their 15 minutes of YouTube fame.
It will start in the cities -- the Democrat-run cities, of course --
where the political leadership will provide them a measure of
protection against identification and arrest.
Seattle, Portland, LA, San Francisco, NYC, Chicago, Atlanta, Boston,
and Baltimore, among others, will become flashpoints of unrest.
The riots will be portrayed by the media and the Democrats
as a groundswell of support for deposing a racist president.
They will bemoan the necessity of the violence, destruction, and
loss of life, but remind Americans that “the people have spoken.”
Some among the Antifa will be championed.
In lockstep, both the New York Times and the Washington Post
will run headlines calling them: “The New Founding Fathers.”
People who fight back will quickly grow in number -- even as
the media label them “white supremacists.”
Blood will be spilled.
China, Iran, Russia, and Venezuela will plead for calm and offer
to mediate the evolving humanitarian crisis…
Trump Loses
The right will never believe the Democrats didn’t cheat their way
to victory; in addition to understanding that a Democratic President
will un-democratically implement policies by executive order that
are inimical to their interests and desires.
Many on the right are weary of leaders who prioritize good press
over good policy, and who prefer losing gracefully over winning
ugly.
They believe they did build that and that they have not yet made
enough money and are fed up with being portrayed as ignorant and
evil just because of political disagreements.
Eight years of Obama and three years of watching his slow-motion
coup have made them angry.
Tone-deaf to this silent majority and emboldened by victory,
the new president will borrow Barry’s “pen and phone” and
start issuing executive orders throwing open our borders,
banning fossil fuels, and of course, implementing “common
sense” gun control.
Buoyed by media, the new president will start with universal
background checks and a gun registry.
Eventually, the president will overreach, signing an order for
gun confiscation, euphemistically called, “mandatory buybacks.”
Antifa and their ilk will flood the streets in support of seizing
these “weapons of war.”
Media will declare, “It’s the will of the people.”
And for the right, that will be the last straw (plastic or paper).
The left doesn’t understand that every gun owner is a single-
issue-voter; millions will refuse to give up their guns.
And, many gun owners in this country will not go “meekly into
the night,” there will be “rage” against what they will see as a
usurpation of their constitutional rights.
Confiscation will go well at first, with gun owners in the cities
acquiescing to the knock on the door in the middle of the night
and the intimidation of, “Papers please.”
But in flyover country, a different scenario will play out.
Most gun owners will hide their weapons and most local police
departments will accept that, not wanting to jail their neighbors.
Resistance will be broad, perhaps encompassing hundreds
of millions of Americans.
Barack Obama, for once in the dismal history of his efforts
to kill the America we love, will be proven correct.
Americans do “cling to their guns.”
The media will call it “white supremacy,” but a still unregulated
internet will be rife with videos of an out of control government
battling its own citizens.
The president will call for mobilizing the National Guard.
Some governors will refuse, and army units now overseas
will be sent home to deal with the growing unrest.
Mistakes will be made and there will be gunfire in the streets;
people will die on both sides.
The president will desperately call for martial law.
Many Army, National Guard, and Police will defect, or desert,
or simply refuse orders.
What will happen after that is anybody's guess.
