The Oscars

The Oscars

By Expotera
March 4, 2018

Tonight, "Satan" and all of his earthy minions, maggots, and
followers, will be watching as well as attending a show they
call, "The Oscars" out in Hollywood, California.

Now this particular gathering is not only sure to bring out and
to show the absolute, "Worst Side" of America, but it will also
bring together the most, "Arrogant" and the most, "Prideful"
individuals who are currently walking this earth among the
rest of us as well.

So in honor of this truly, "Satanic" annual occasion, I now very
humbly present a very short list of pride and arrogance quotes
which explains why I will not be wasting my time watching any
of these individuals or their T.V. show simply because:

Pride is the mother of arrogance. ~ Toba Beta

The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and
the evil way and the perverted mouth, I hate. ~ Proverbs 8:13

It was pride that changed angels into devils; it is humility that
makes men as angels. ~ Saint Augustine

The arrogance of your heart has deceived you, You who live in the
clefts of the rock, In the loftiness of your dwelling place, Who say
in your heart, 'Who will bring me down to earth?' ~ Obadiah 1:3

The offspring of riches; Pride, vanity, ostentation, arrogance,
tyranny. ~ Mark Twain

As for the terror of you, The arrogance of your heart has deceived
you, O you who live in the clefts of the rock, Who occupy the height
of the hill. Though you make your nest as high as an eagle's, I will
bring you down from there, declares the LORD. ~ Jeremiah 49:16

Pride deafens us to the advice or warnings from those around us.
~ John C. Maxwell

The highway of the upright avoids evil; those who guard their ways
preserve their lives. Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit
before a fall. Better to be lowly in spirit along with the oppressed
than to share plunder with the proud. ~ Proverbs 16:17-19

Put aside your pride, set down your arrogance, and remember your
grave. ~ Ali Ibn Abi Talib
