The Collapse of Globalization

March 28, 2011 "Truthdig" -- The uprisings in the Middle East,
the unrest that is tearing apart nations such as the Ivory Coast,
the bubbling discontent in Greece, Ireland and Britain and the
labor disputes in states such as Wisconsin and Ohio presage the
collapse of globalization.
They presage a world where vital resources, including food and water, jobs and security, are becoming scarcer and harder to obtain.
They presage growing misery for hundreds of millions of people who find themselves trapped in failed states, suffering escalating violence and crippling poverty.
They presage increasingly draconian controls and force—take a look at what is being done to Pfc. Bradley Manning—used to protect the corporate elite who are orchestrating our demise.
We must embrace, and embrace rapidly, a radical new ethic of
simplicity and rigorous protection of our ecosystem—especially
the climate—or we will all be holding on to life by our fingertips.
We must rebuild radical socialist movements that demand that the resources of the state and the nation provide for the welfare of all citizens and the heavy hand of state power be employed to prohibit the plunder by the corporate power elite.
We must view the corporate capitalists who have seized control of our money, our food, our energy, our education, our press, our health care system and our governance as mortal enemies to be vanquished.
Adequate food, clean water and basic security are already beyond the reach of perhaps half the world’s population.
Food prices have risen 61 percent globally since December 2008,
according to the International Monetary Fund. The price of wheat
has exploded, more than doubling in the last eight months to $8.56
a bushel.
When half of your income is spent on food, as it is in countries such as Yemen, Egypt, Tunisia and the Ivory Coast, price increases of this magnitude bring with them malnutrition and starvation.
Food prices in the United States have risen over the past three
months at an annualized rate of 5 percent. There are some 40
million poor in the United States who devote 35 percent of their
after-tax incomes to pay for food.
As the cost of fossil fuel climbs, as climate change continues to disrupt agricultural production and as populations and unemployment swell, we will find ourselves convulsed in more global and domestic unrest. Food riots and political protests will be inevitable. But it will not necessarily mean more democracy.
The refusal by all of our liberal institutions, including the press, universities, labor and the Democratic Party, to challenge the utopian assumptions that the marketplace should determine human behavior permits corporations and investment firms to continue their assault, including speculating on commodities to drive up food prices.
It permits coal, oil and natural gas corporations to stymie alternative energy and emit deadly levels of greenhouse gases.
It permits agribusinesses to divert corn and soybeans to ethanol production and crush systems of local, sustainable agriculture.
It permits the war industry to drain half of all state expenditures, generate trillions in deficits, and profit from conflicts in the Middle East we have no chance of winning.
It permits corporations to evade the most basic controls and regulations to cement into place a global neo-feudalism.
The last people who should be in charge of our food supply or our social and political life, not to mention the welfare of sick children, are corporate capitalists and Wall Street speculators.
But none of this is going to change until we turn our backs on
the Democratic Party, denounce the orthodoxies peddled in our
universities and in the press by corporate apologists and construct
our opposition to the corporate state from the ground up.
It will not be easy. It will take time. And it will require us to accept the status of social and political pariahs, especially as the lunatic fringe of our political establishment steadily gains power.
The corporate state has nothing to offer the left or the right but fear. It uses fear—fear of secular humanism or fear of Christian fascists—to turn the population into passive accomplices.
As long as we remain afraid nothing will change.
Friedrich von Hayek and Milton Friedman, two of the major
architects for unregulated capitalism, should never have
been taken seriously.
But the wonders of corporate propaganda and corporate funding turned these fringe figures into revered prophets in our universities, think tanks, the press, legislative bodies, courts and corporate boardrooms.
We still endure the cant of their discredited economic theories even
as Wall Street sucks the U.S. Treasury dry and engages once again
in the speculation that has to date evaporated some $40 trillion in
global wealth.
We are taught by all systems of information to chant the mantra
that the market knows best.
It does not matter, as writers such as John Ralston Saul have
pointed out, that every one of globalism’s promises has turned
out to be a lie.
It does not matter that economic inequality has gotten worse and that most of the world’s wealth has became concentrated in a few hands.
It does not matter that the middle class—the beating heart of
any democracy—is disappearing and that the rights and wages
of the working class have fallen into precipitous decline as labor
regulations, protection of our manufacturing base and labor unions
have been demolished.
It does not matter that corporations have used the destruction of trade barriers as a mechanism for massive tax evasion, a technique that allows conglomerates such as General Electric to avoid paying any taxes.
It does not matter that corporations are exploiting and killing the ecosystem on which the human species depends for life.
The steady barrage of illusions disseminated by corporate systems
of propaganda, in which words are often replaced with music and
images, are impervious to truth.
Faith in the marketplace replaces for many faith in an omnipresent
God. And those who dissent—from Ralph Nader to Noam Chomsky—
are banished as heretics.
The aim of the corporate state is not to feed, clothe or house the masses, but to shift all economic, social and political power and wealth into the hands of the tiny corporate elite.
It is to create a world where the heads of corporations make $900,000 an hour and four-job families struggle to survive.
The corporate elite achieves its aims of greater and greater profit
by weakening and dismantling government agencies and taking over
or destroying public institutions.
Charter schools, mercenary armies, a for-profit health insurance industry and outsourcing every facet of government work, from clerical tasks to intelligence, feed the corporate beast at our expense.
The decimation of labor unions, the twisting of education into
mindless vocational training and the slashing of social services
leave us ever more enslaved to the whims of corporations.
The intrusion of corporations into the public sphere destroys the
concept of the common good. It erases the lines between public
and private interests. It creates a world that is defined exclusively
by naked self-interest.
The ideological proponents of globalism—Thomas Friedman, Daniel Yergin, Ben Bernanke and Anthony Giddens—are stunted products of the self-satisfied, materialistic power elite.
They use the utopian ideology of globalism as a moral justification for their own comfort, self-absorption and privilege.
They do not question the imperial projects of the nation, the
widening disparities in wealth and security between themselves
as members of the world’s industrialized elite and the rest of
the planet.
They embrace globalism because it, like most philosophical and theological ideologies, justifies their privilege and power. They believe that globalism is not an ideology but an expression of an incontrovertible truth.
And because the truth has been uncovered, all competing economic
and political visions are dismissed from public debate before they
are even heard.
The defense of globalism marks a disturbing rupture in American
intellectual life. The collapse of the global economy in 1929
discredited the proponents of deregulated markets.
It permitted alternative visions, many of them products of the
socialist, anarchist and communist movements that once existed
in the United States, to be heard. We adjusted to economic and
political reality.
The capacity to be critical of political and economic assumptions resulted in the New Deal, the dismantling of corporate monopolies and heavy government regulation of banks and corporations.
But this time around, because corporations control the organs
of mass communication, and because thousands of economists,
business school professors, financial analysts, journalists
and corporate managers have staked their credibility on the
utopianism of globalism, we speak to each other in gibberish.
We continue to heed the advice of Alan Greenspan, who believed
the third-rate novelist Ayn Rand was an economic prophet, or
Larry Summers, whose deregulation of our banks as treasury
secretary under President Bill Clinton helped snuff out some
$17 trillion in wages, retirement benefits and personal savings.
We are assured by presidential candidates like Mitt Romney that more tax breaks for corporations would entice them to move their overseas profits back to the United States to create new jobs.
This idea comes from a former hedge fund manager whose personal fortune was amassed largely by firing workers, and only illustrates how rational political discourse has descended into mindless sound bites.
We are seduced by this childish happy talk. Who wants to hear that we are advancing not toward a paradise of happy consumption and personal prosperity but a disaster?
Who wants to confront a future in which the rapacious and greedy appetites of our global elite, who have failed to protect the planet, threaten to produce widespread anarchy, famine, environmental catastrophe, nuclear terrorism and wars for diminishing resources?
Who wants to shatter the myth that the human race is evolving morally, that it can continue its giddy plundering of non-renewable resources and its profligate levels of consumption, that capitalist expansion is eternal and will never cease?
Dying civilizations often prefer hope, even absurd hope, to truth. It makes life easier to bear.
It lets them turn away from the hard choices ahead to bask in a comforting certitude that God or science or the market will be their salvation.
This is why these apologists for globalism continue to find a
following. And their systems of propaganda have built a vast,
global Potemkin village to entertain us.
The tens of millions of impoverished Americans, whose lives
and struggles rarely make it onto television, are invisible.
So are most of the world’s billions of poor, crowded into fetid slums.
We do not see those who die from drinking contaminated water or being unable to afford medical care.
We do not see those being foreclosed from their homes. We do not see the children who go to bed hungry.
We busy ourselves with the absurd. We invest our emotional life in reality shows that celebrate excess, hedonism and wealth.
We are tempted by the opulent life enjoyed by the American
oligarchy, 1 percent of whom control more wealth than the
bottom 90 percent combined.
The celebrities and reality television stars whose foibles we know
intimately live indolent, self-centered lives in sprawling mansions
or exclusive Manhattan apartments.
They parade their sculpted and surgically enhanced bodies before us in designer clothes. They devote their lives to self-promotion and personal advancement, consumption, parties and the making of money. They celebrate the cult of the self.
And when they have meltdowns we watch with gruesome fascination. This empty existence is the one we are taught to admire and emulate. This is the life, we are told, we can all have.
The perversion of values has created a landscape where corporate
management by sleazy figures like Donald Trump is confused with
leadership and where the ability to accumulate vast sums of money
is confused with intelligence.
And when we do glimpse the poor or working class on our screens, they are ridiculed and taunted. They are objects of contempt, whether on “The Jerry Springer Show” or “Jersey Shore.”
The incessant chasing after status, personal advancement and
wealth has plunged most of the country into unmanageable debt.
Families, whose real wages have dropped over the past three
decades, live in oversized houses financed by mortgages they
often cannot repay. They seek identity through products. They
occupy their leisure time in malls buying things they do not need.
Those of working age spend their weekdays in little cubicles,
if they still have steady jobs, under the heels of corporations
that have disempowered American workers and taken control
of the state and can lay them off on a whim.
It is a desperate scramble. No one wants to be left behind.
The propagandists for globalism are the natural outgrowth of this image-based and culturally illiterate world. They speak about economic and political theory in empty clichés.
They cater to our subliminal and irrational desires. They select
a few facts and isolated data and use them to dismiss historical,
economic, political and cultural realities.
They tell us what we want to believe about ourselves. They assure
us that we are exceptional as individuals and as a nation.
They champion our ignorance as knowledge.
They tell us that there is no reason to investigate other ways of organizing and governing our society. Our way of life is the best. Capitalism has made us great.
They peddle the self-delusional dream of inevitable human progress. They assure us we will be saved by science, technology and rationality and that humanity is moving inexorably forward.
None of this is true.
It is a message that defies human nature and human history. But it is what many desperately want to believe.
And until we awake from our collective self-delusion, until we carry out sustained acts of civil disobedience against the corporate state and sever ourselves from the liberal institutions that serve the corporate juggernaut—especially the Democratic Party—we will continue to be rocketed toward a global catastrophe.

Hebrews 11:1-40

11:4 By faith Abel offered to God a more acceptable sacrifice

11:5 By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and he was not found, because God had taken him. Now before he was taken he was commended as having pleased God.
11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
11:7 By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet
unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his

has prepared for them a city.

that the Destroyer of the firstborn might not touch them.

11:31 By faith Rahab the prostitute did not perish with those who were disobedient, because she had given a friendly welcome to the spies.
11:32 And what more shall I say? For time would fail me to tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets—
11:33 who through faith conquered kingdoms, enforced justice, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,
11:34 quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, were made strong out of weakness, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight.
11:35 Women received back their dead by resurrection. Some were
tortured, refusing to accept release, so that they might rise again
to a better life.
11:36 Others suffered mocking and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment.
11:37 They were stoned, they were sawn in two, [1] they were killed with the sword. They went about in skins of sheep and goats, destitute, afflicted, mistreated—
11:38 of whom the world was not worthy—wandering about in deserts and mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
11:39 And all these, though commended through their faith, did not receive what was promised,
11:40 since God had provided something better for us, that apart from us they should not be made perfect.

Occupying Iraq, the U.S. spends about $300 million a day. For Afghanistan, it’s $200 million.
These numbers are approximations because the Pentagon doesn’t really know how much it has spent on anything, or how many it has killed in its several wars, big and small.
It doesn’t really care, I don’t think.
Imagine a team of alcoholics parked permanently at the bar,
downing pints and shots with an open tab into infinity, or until
the Second Coming, at least.
In 2001, Donald Rumsfeld admitted that $2.3 trillion were
unaccounted for. He blamed it on sloppy bookkeeping. It must
be hard to keep track of so many digits.
As firemen and cops are being fired across America, as teachers are being told they must accept austerity measures, the country is broke after all, as public radio and television, with their supposed liberal bias, lay on the chopping block, as more homeless sprawl and tent cities spring up, as casinos, a sure sign of desperation, mushroom, the United States has entered another costly war without any fanfare or discussion whatsoever.
Obama didn’t have to persuade anybody, no sending a Secretary
of State to make a fool of herself in front of the United Nations’
General Assembly, no congressional vote, which, last time I checked,
was supposed to be a Constitutional requirement, no media blitz. No
lies even.
He simply ordered more than a hundred Tomahawk missiles, so far, to rain down on Libya, with many more to come. In any case, this it not even a war, but merely a “kinetic military action,” according to an Obama aide.
Such straight faced butchery of language, even as one butchers real
people, shows that the United States has entered a deep psychotic
state. Upon winning the Nobel Peace Prize, Obama himself declared,
“I am living testimony to the moral force of non-violence.”
If this is Obama pacified, I hate to see him riled up, but, of course, he doesn’t get riled up. Suave, articulate and personable, Obama is proving to be just as deadly as Bush, but clearly more cynical.
A great, loyal tool of the establishment, Obama has dampened protest from American liberals. Though they know he has betrayed them, they’re reluctant to show appropriate outrage because, not that long ago, they have cheered and wept for him so openly.
The day after Obama won, Rebecca Solnit burbled in the Nation,
“Citizenship is a passionate joy at times, and this is one of those
times. You can feel it. Tuesday the world changed. It was a great day.”
The President of the United States is a traveling salesman for the
military industrial complex.
In 2010, Obama came to India to visit the Mumbai home of Gandhi,
a hero of his, someone he would most like to dine with, very
touching, before announcing a mega arms deal of GE fighter jet
engines and Boeing military transport planes.
Now, as he bombs Libya, Obama tries to sell F-18 fighter planes to Brazil. According to an aide, “President Obama underscored that the F-18 is the best plane on offer” as he made a “strong pitch” to Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff.
The President of the United States is also a spokesman for
murderers and crooks. He doesn’t rule, but obeys. His main
job is to deceive the masses as he serves his enablers. He
can say anything at any time, and means none of it.
The President of the United States is the world’s most visible actor, in short.
Campaigning in 2007, Obama said, “If American workers are being
denied their right to organize and collectively bargain when I’m in
the White House, I’ll put on a comfortable pair of shoes myself. I’ll
walk on that picket line with you as president of the United States.”
Quite a performance.
This year, as Wisconsin teachers fight to retain their right to
collectively bargain, Obama has said absolutely nothing. One
would have to be a fool to think he would join them.
Offshoring began under Clinton, and has continued unabated. Under the banner of free trade, the only goal of Globalism is to couple capital with the cheapest labor available.
Since organized workers are anathema to the bosses, American
companies have moved their factories to totalitarian countries
where workers have little rights, where they cannot be unionized.
The idea is to roll back the clock to the earliest days of industrialism
where workers toiled all day long for next to nothing.
In February, a bill was even introduced in Missouri to eliminate child labor laws.
It seeks, in part, to get rid of “the prohibition on employment of
children under age fourteen. Restrictions on the number of hours
and restrictions on when a child may work during the day are also
removed.” Don’t laugh. This may be a sign of things to come.
As for work that can’t be outsourced, foreign workers are allowed
or even invited in. U.S. borders are not porous out of charity or
ineptness, but because this benefits American businesses.
During the recent housing bubble, builders employed countless
Mexican workers, and every stateside restaurant these days
seems to be staffed by Mexican busboys, cooks and dishwashers.
Chinese engineer students can stay after graduating from American schools, and Indian doctors and nurses are given special visas.
There are certain jobs, however, that can’t easily be staffed by aliens, such as teachers, for example. If Albanians could be imported to teach English and American History to American kids, it would have happened already.
The latest attack in this relentless war against American workers
is the announcement that Mexican truckers will soon be allowed to
drive into the United States.
Though ignored by the mainstream media, this calamity won’t just
put tens of thousands of American truck drivers out of work, but
also many American dock workers. Containers can be shipped to
Mexico, then trucked into the U.S. by cheaper Mexican drivers.
Again, American borders are porous by design, just as other
countries’ borders are routinely violated by the United States
of America.

Occupying Iraq, the U.S. spends about $300 million a day. For Afghanistan, it’s $200 million.
These numbers are approximations because the Pentagon doesn’t really know how much it has spent on anything, or how many it has killed in its several wars, big and small.
It doesn’t really care, I don’t think.
Imagine a team of alcoholics parked permanently at the bar,
downing pints and shots with an open tab into infinity, or until
the Second Coming, at least.
In 2001, Donald Rumsfeld admitted that $2.3 trillion were
unaccounted for. He blamed it on sloppy bookkeeping. It must
be hard to keep track of so many digits.
As firemen and cops are being fired across America, as teachers are being told they must accept austerity measures, the country is broke after all, as public radio and television, with their supposed liberal bias, lay on the chopping block, as more homeless sprawl and tent cities spring up, as casinos, a sure sign of desperation, mushroom, the United States has entered another costly war without any fanfare or discussion whatsoever.
Obama didn’t have to persuade anybody, no sending a Secretary
of State to make a fool of herself in front of the United Nations’
General Assembly, no congressional vote, which, last time I checked,
was supposed to be a Constitutional requirement, no media blitz. No
lies even.
He simply ordered more than a hundred Tomahawk missiles, so far, to rain down on Libya, with many more to come. In any case, this it not even a war, but merely a “kinetic military action,” according to an Obama aide.
Such straight faced butchery of language, even as one butchers real
people, shows that the United States has entered a deep psychotic
state. Upon winning the Nobel Peace Prize, Obama himself declared,
“I am living testimony to the moral force of non-violence.”
If this is Obama pacified, I hate to see him riled up, but, of course, he doesn’t get riled up. Suave, articulate and personable, Obama is proving to be just as deadly as Bush, but clearly more cynical.
A great, loyal tool of the establishment, Obama has dampened protest from American liberals. Though they know he has betrayed them, they’re reluctant to show appropriate outrage because, not that long ago, they have cheered and wept for him so openly.
The day after Obama won, Rebecca Solnit burbled in the Nation,
“Citizenship is a passionate joy at times, and this is one of those
times. You can feel it. Tuesday the world changed. It was a great day.”
The President of the United States is a traveling salesman for the
military industrial complex.
In 2010, Obama came to India to visit the Mumbai home of Gandhi,
a hero of his, someone he would most like to dine with, very
touching, before announcing a mega arms deal of GE fighter jet
engines and Boeing military transport planes.
Now, as he bombs Libya, Obama tries to sell F-18 fighter planes to Brazil. According to an aide, “President Obama underscored that the F-18 is the best plane on offer” as he made a “strong pitch” to Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff.
The President of the United States is also a spokesman for
murderers and crooks. He doesn’t rule, but obeys. His main
job is to deceive the masses as he serves his enablers. He
can say anything at any time, and means none of it.
The President of the United States is the world’s most visible actor, in short.
Campaigning in 2007, Obama said, “If American workers are being
denied their right to organize and collectively bargain when I’m in
the White House, I’ll put on a comfortable pair of shoes myself. I’ll
walk on that picket line with you as president of the United States.”
Quite a performance.
This year, as Wisconsin teachers fight to retain their right to
collectively bargain, Obama has said absolutely nothing. One
would have to be a fool to think he would join them.
Offshoring began under Clinton, and has continued unabated. Under the banner of free trade, the only goal of Globalism is to couple capital with the cheapest labor available.
Since organized workers are anathema to the bosses, American
companies have moved their factories to totalitarian countries
where workers have little rights, where they cannot be unionized.
The idea is to roll back the clock to the earliest days of industrialism
where workers toiled all day long for next to nothing.
In February, a bill was even introduced in Missouri to eliminate child labor laws.
It seeks, in part, to get rid of “the prohibition on employment of
children under age fourteen. Restrictions on the number of hours
and restrictions on when a child may work during the day are also
removed.” Don’t laugh. This may be a sign of things to come.
As for work that can’t be outsourced, foreign workers are allowed
or even invited in. U.S. borders are not porous out of charity or
ineptness, but because this benefits American businesses.
During the recent housing bubble, builders employed countless
Mexican workers, and every stateside restaurant these days
seems to be staffed by Mexican busboys, cooks and dishwashers.
Chinese engineer students can stay after graduating from American schools, and Indian doctors and nurses are given special visas.
There are certain jobs, however, that can’t easily be staffed by aliens, such as teachers, for example. If Albanians could be imported to teach English and American History to American kids, it would have happened already.
The latest attack in this relentless war against American workers
is the announcement that Mexican truckers will soon be allowed to
drive into the United States.
Though ignored by the mainstream media, this calamity won’t just
put tens of thousands of American truck drivers out of work, but
also many American dock workers. Containers can be shipped to
Mexico, then trucked into the U.S. by cheaper Mexican drivers.
Again, American borders are porous by design, just as other
countries’ borders are routinely violated by the United States
of America.

This Is What Class War Looks Like
A National Campaign, State by State

March 22, 2011 "Daily Kos" - - The wealthiest 5% of Americans control 72% of America's financial wealth. The bottom 80% control only 7% of the nation's financial wealth.
The richest 400 Americans have more combined wealth than the poorer HALF of all Americans. That means 400 people have more wealth than 150,000,000 people combined.
American corporations saw record profits in 2010. Nearly 80% of
all economic gains made in the past thirty years have gone to the
richest 1%. In the 1970s, the average CEO made 30 times what an
hourly worker made.
Today, a CEO makes 300 times what an hourly worker makes.
Meanwhile, unemployment remains around 9%. Underemployment is much higher. Wages are stagnant. The cost of necessities like food, gas and healthcare are soaring.
If you were among the beneficiaries of this trend, if you had more
financial wealth than 375,000 of your fellow citizens combined, if
you made 300 times what one of your hard-working, middle class
employees made, and if you saw the everyday struggle that middle-
class and working class families go through, and if you were a
humane, reasonable human being, your heart would go out to them.
You could conclude that it was time to share the wealth. You would conclude that you are not worth more than three hundred of the people whose blood, sweat and tears really make your company successful.
No humane, sane, reasonable and compassionate human being
could honestly believe they were worth that much more than a
fellow American.
Certainly no one who believes that "all men are created equal"
could believe such a thing.
Only an ego-maniacal sociopath could think not only is he 300 times more important than his fellow human beings, but that he actually is entitled to a GREATER disparity in wealth and power than he already enjoys.
The logical conclusion, then, is that most of the people who comprise the wealthiest 1% of Americans are not humane, reasonable, sane, compassionate people.
Why? Because instead of raising wages to reward productivity, instead of investing huge profits in hiring more workers, instead of contributing more to employee health plans and sharing the vast wealth that has been made for them by working people, they have declared war on the very people who made them rich.
Across the nation, they are demanding to be rewarded with even more wealth. While the middle class is struggling just to stay above water, the wealthy have tasked their puppets in the GOP with waging a three-pronged attack against what remains of middle-class power and wellbeing.
It is a strategy that is being waged state by state across the country and also at the federal level in Washington, D.C. The strategy is simple:
First, pass massive tax cuts that primarily benefit large corporations and wealthy individuals.
Second, use the resulting loss of revenue to declare a "financial crisis" and begin making massive cuts to state and federal budgets.
Third, undermine the ability of middle and working class people to
fight back by taking away their rights to collective bargaining and
by selling off the institutions of a democratic state.
When you see this same pattern repeated in state after state across the country, when you see this same pattern reflected at the federal level, when you see it happening again and again you cannot escape the conclusion that it is a national, coordinated strategy to further enrich the wealthiest 2% at the expense of everyone else.
Last week I shared this chart by the Center for American Progress that shows this strategy in action at the federal level.
The Republicans first demanded that we extend the Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans. Now they complain that the deficit is "out of control" and has to be reigned in.
But do they balance that budget by reducing billions in subsidies given to oil companies? Do they even consider touching the TRILLION dollars we spend per year on defense? No, because most of those dollars benefit big corporations.
Instead, Republicans, with Democrats eager to aid them, call for cuts in home heating assistance to the poor! The rich must get richer at the expense of everyone else.
Now I want to take a quick look at a few states where we see this national pattern repeated.
Wisconsin
This is the most well known example right now. Scott Walker came into office and immediately offered his corporate friends more than $100 million in tax breaks.
Then, after this fiscally irresponsible move, he warned of the
imminent "budget crisis" and th need for "massive cuts" to resolve
it. He demanded more than $100 million in concessions from public
employees.
This is no different than if he had demanded that teachers and firefighters and police officers and bus drivers just hand over $100 million to people who make hundreds of times more than they do.
He just did it in the reverse order. He gave their money away first and then demanded that they fork it over.
But this wasn't enough for Walker. He and the Republicans in the
state senate showed their true colors by going after collective
bargaining rights, even AFTER the workers agreed to fork over
their hard earned money to the super-rich.
He's demanding the ability to sell off publicly owned power plants
to private corporations that could then dictate what ordinary
Wisconsites have to pay for utilities.
And without unions and without public control, the middle class
will have no say and no ability to fight back in the future.
Ohio
Governor John Kasich and newly elected Republican legislators are following the same pattern in the Buckeye State.
Massive tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy followed up by bills demanding massive cuts in spending that benefit the middle class and the poor.
SB 5 calls for drastic spending cuts in education, safety, healthcare and the like. Again, the budget crisis was largely the GOP's own doing.
And like in Wisconsin, just demanding money from public employees was not enough. The government is trying to take away their very rights to organize collectively and to defend themselves. The GOP wants to take away worker's rights to strike and to collectively bargain.
Kasich wants to sell off five prisons to private interest so they can run prisons for profit. That worked out well in Pennsylvania, didn't it?
Remember the judge featured in Capitalism: A Love Story who took bribes to send innocent CHILDREN to juvenile detention centers so corporations could get rich off tax payer money?
Free prison labor also means less demand for hired laborers. Free slave labor for for-profit corporations means fewer jobs and slave wages for law-abiding Ohioans.
Michigan
I think this one really takes the cake. Same story as above except you have to add in the horrendous legislation that would give the governor authority to disband elected local governments and replace them with private "emergency fiscal managers."
Governor Snyder created his own budget mess as well, slashing
corporate taxes by 86% while increasing taxes on the middle class
by nearly a third. This mirrors what took place at the federal level.
Lost in the "compromise" on tax cuts was the fact that the federal earned income tax credit was discontinued. That means any individual making less than $20k and any family making less than $40k is actually paying MORE in taxes than they did last year.
The party that loves to cut taxes really only likes cutting them for their rich corporate sponsors. They have no problem at all raising taxes on working people.
These same tactics are being employed in Pennsylvania Indiana, Tennessee, New Jersey and all over the country wherever the big corporations managed to get their pluto-puppets installed in office.
This is nothing less than an all-out assault on the middle-class and the American way of life. The corporate plutocrats and their pluto-puppets have declared war on the American dream.
It is high time that working Americans stand up and defend themselves!
We cannot sit idly by and allow the plundering of our states, cities and towns. We cannot stand for politicians who would sell off our political institutions and eviscerate the rights that workers fought and died for during decades of struggle.
We cannot remain silent any longer.
And thankfully, many people are rising to the challenge. All of
us have been inspired by the efforts of protesters in Wisconsin.
Michigan protesters have followed suit and have tried to reclaim
the people's house there as well.
Defend the dream rallies in Ohio and around the country brought together thousands of people willing to fight back and Defend the Dream.
We must all stand united if America is to once again be a land of opportunity for ALL people, not just for a select few.
Worker's rights are HUMAN RIGHTS.
The right to come together and protest, to form unions that
collectively petition for a redress of grievances, and the right
to have a say in how your state and workplace are governed--these
are FIRST AMENDMENT rights to assembly, petition and speech.
We must stand together and defend these rights against anyone
who would assault them in the hopes of making a few more bucks.
United we bargain, divided we beg.
The plutocrats and their puppets started this war. We, the people, will finish it!

Minnesota Republicans Want To Bust Poor People Who Carry Cash

They're not just crazy, they're evil -- and un-Christian, should they have the audacity to claim otherwise.
If only we could force them to live like this, they wouldn't last a week:
St. Paul, MN – Minnesota Republicans are pushing legislation that would make it a crime for people on public assistance to have more than $20 in cash in their pockets any given month.
This represents a change from their initial proposal, which banned them from having any money at all.
On March 15, Angel Buechner of the Welfare Rights Committee testified in front of the House Health and Human Services Reform Committee on House File 171.
Buechner told committee members, “We would like to address the provision that makes it illegal for MFIP [one of Minnesota’s welfare programs] families to withdraw cash from the cash portion of the MFIP grant - and in fact, appears to make it illegal for MFIP families to have any type of money at all in their pockets. How do you expect people to take care of business like paying bills such as lights, gas, water, trash and phone?”
House File 171 would make it so that families on MFIP - and disabled single adults on General Assistance and Minnesota Supplemental Aid - could not have their cash grants in cash or put into a checking account. Rather, they could only use a state-issued debit card at special terminals in certain businesses that are set up to accept the card.
The bill also calls for unconstitutional residency requirements, not allowing the debit card to be used across state lines and other provisions that the Welfare Rights Committee and others consider unacceptable.
Buechner testified, “We’ll leave you with this. It is not right to punish a whole group because of the supposed actions of a few. You in this room could have a pretty rough time if that was the case. It is not right to stigmatize and dehumanize women living the hard life of trying to raise children while living 60% below the poverty level. It is not right to use racist, bumper-sticker hate to inflict human misery for political gain.”
It may not be right, Angel. But it sure as hell is effective, and that's why politicians without shame continue to use the poor as their own political punching bags.
Personally, if I lived in Minnesota, I'd be out looking for skeletons in the Republican closets. It seems to be the most effective way of purging these immoral creeps.

GOPers in Minnesota seem to be suffering from memory loss; an unemployed person has to utilize public transit to go out in the world and be proactive in seeking work.
Instead, they present the poor with isolation, not letting them use their debit card, sit home and not seek employment. The poor can stay poor because they don’t give a damn.
Let’s mix that in with the embattled Planned Parenthood, ACORN, Health Care Reform, undoing child labor laws and the dubious promise to get work for America as a whole.
Where are the jobs, John?
There is an obvious target on the poverty stricken in this country. Let’s not forget, just as many poor people are Republicans. This won’t fare well and they’re signing their own Get Out of the House certificate.
As the classes divide even more with their assistance, this is further proof that their campaign against government spending was simply to gain power and now, they’ve gone power mad.

It may not be right, Angel. But it sure as hell is effective, and that's why politicians without shame continue to use the poor as their own political punching bags.
Personally, if I lived in Minnesota, I'd be out looking for skeletons in the Republican closets. It seems to be the most effective way of purging these immoral creeps.

Let’s mix that in with the embattled Planned Parenthood, ACORN, Health Care Reform, undoing child labor laws and the dubious promise to get work for America as a whole.

Let us cast our minds back to those remarkable days in November 2008 when the son of a Kenyan goatherd was elected to the White House.
It was a bright new dawn – even brighter than the coming of the Kennedys and their new Camelot.
JFK may be considered as being from an ethnic and religious
minority – Irish and Catholic – but he was still very rich and
very white.
Barack Obama, by contrast, was a true breakthrough president.
The world would change because obviously America had changed.
Obama’s campaign slogan was mesmerisingly simple and brimming with self-belief: “Yes we can.”
His presidency, however, is turning out to be more about “no we
won’t.” Even more worryingly, it seems to be very much about:
“Maybe we can… do what, exactly?”
The world feels like a dangerous place when leaders are seen to lack certitude but the only thing President Obama seems decisive about is his indecision.
What should the US do about Libya? What should the US do about the Middle East in general? What about the country’s crippling debts? What is the US going to do about Afghanistan, about Iran?
What is President Obama doing about anything? The most alarming answer – your guess is as good as mine – is also, frankly, the most accurate one.
What the President is not doing is being clear, resolute and
pro-active, which is surely a big part of his job description.
This is what he has to say about the popular uprising in Libya:
“Gaddafi must go.” At least, that was his position on March 3.
Since then, other countries – most notably Britain and France – have been calling for some kind of intervention. Even the Arab League, a notoriously conservative organisation, has declared support for sanctions.
But from the White House has come only the blah-blah of bland statements filled with meaningless expressions and vague phrases. Of decisive action and leadership – even of clearlydefined opinion – there is precious little sign.
What is the Obama administration’s position on the protests in the Gulf island state of Bahrain, which the authorities there are savagely suppressing with the help of troops shipped in from Saudi Arabia?
What is the White House view on the alarming prospect of the
unrest spreading to Saudi Arabia itself? Who knows? Certainly
not the American people, nor the leaders of nations which
would consider themselves allies of America.
The President has not really shared his views, which leads us to conclude that he either doesn’t know or chooses, for reasons best known to himself, not to say.
The result is that a very real opportunity to remove an unpredictable despot from power may well have been lost. Who knows when or if such an opportunity will come along again?
Every day for almost the last two months our television screens, radio broadcasts and the pages of our newspapers have been filled with the pictures, sounds and words of the most tumultuous events any of us can remember in the Arab world.
The outcome of these events, once the dust has settled, could
literally change the world. Yet Obama seems content to sit this
one out. He has barely engaged in the debate.
Such ostrich-like behaviour is not untypical of the 49-year-old
President who burst through America’s colour barrier to become
the first African-American to occupy the White House.
Two days after taking office in January 2009, he pledged to close down the prison camp in Guantanamo Bay, which has become notorious for holding detainees for years without trial.
Obama promised to lose the prison within 12 months and to abolish the practice of military trials of terrorism suspects. It was an important promise.
America’s reputation had been severely tarnished by revelations about the conditions at Guantanamo, by reports of waterboarding and extraordinary rendition (transporting prisoners to a third country for torture) and by the appalling treatment of detainees in Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq.
Closing Guantanamo was a redemptive gesture.
Two years on, not only is the prison still in use but its future is as assured as ever. Ten days ago, the President signed an executive order reinstating the military commissions at the island prison.
Human rights organisations were outraged.
“With the stroke of a pen, President Obama extinguished any
lingering hope that his administration would return the United
States to the rule of law,” said Amnesty International while
Anthony Romero, executive director of the American Civil
Liberties Union, declared the President’s action to be “unlawful,
unwise and un-American.”
White House spokesmen insisted the President was still committed
to closing Guantanamo which currently has 172 detainees in custody.
It was Congress, they said, that had refused to sanction the transfer of the prisoners to the US mainland for trial, leaving no option but to keep the prison open in Cuba.
Very little has been achieved in the quest to secure peace in the Middle East. Under Obama, US foreign policy is founded on extreme caution.
At first this cool-headedness was a welcome change from the naked aggression of George W Bush and his henchmen Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld.
It is also true that the President is constantly stymied by a hostile, Republican-ruled Congress. But Obama’s apparent reluctance to engage with momentous events is starting to look like more than aloofness.
Some tempering of America’s role as the world’s No 1 busybody may be no bad thing but under Obama the US appears to be heading towards isolationism.
He is hardly doing much better at home. Economically, the US is
in big trouble but the national debt is not shrinking.
Ditto the country’s ecological health; the American love affair
with the car and oil remains undiminished despite any alleged
commitment. But the White House appears to shy away from
any tough action.
The energy with which Obama entered the White House seems to have all gone in the push to bring in health care reform, which many Americans didn’t want (or still don’t realise they want).
All of which means that it is starting to look as if Obama and the Democratic Party have but one aim in mind for the rest of this presidential term: to get elected for a second.
That means not doing anything that might upset any number of
special interest or niche groups, which in effect means not doing
very much at all.
So, not too many harsh but necessary measures to tackle the financial deficit; no clear direction on where America goes with Afghanistan, even though the war there is going nowhere except from bad to worse.
The Obama government can’t even give clear direction on whether
the American people are in danger of exposure to nuclear fallout
from Japan following the devastating earthquake and tsunami.
The US Surgeon General Regina Benjamin advised San Francisco residents to stock up on radiation antidotes, prompting a run on potassium iodide pills, while the President said experts had assured him that any harmful radiation would have receded long before reaching the Western shores of the US.
Yes we can was a noble and powerful mantra which secured for Barack Obama the leadership of the free world.
Those than can, do. It is time he started doing.

One of Satan's many, many little earthly helpers, has now decided to
file an "Order for Harassment and Ex Parte Temporary Restraining
Order" against me, a totally non-violent, completely flat broke and
presently, "Homeless Man of God" simply because I continue to
refuse to bow down to, worship and/or sell my soul, to the one for
whom they all bow down to, worship and have now sold their souls
to, Satan, the "Prince of the Demons" and the "Lord of the Flies."
Well Mr. Naples, your clients most certainly have several very
legitimate reasons to now be extremely fearful of their own shadows
by day, as well as, "Things That Go Bump in the Night" but their fear
of me, is totally misguided, as well as completely misplaced, because
I am only a Mere Mortal, Social Entrepreneur and Humble Servant, of
the one True and Almighty God, and He, is the only one, for whom
each of you should now be seeking your, "Orders for Harassment and
Ex Parte Temporary Restraining Orders" against because "Vengeance
is His" and it most certainly isn't mine.
But for what it is now worth, I do fully appreciate, as well as humbly
accept your clients back-handed compliment on behalf of all of my

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton made a blatant admission during
a U.S. Foreign Policy Priorities committee meeting by arguing that
the State Department needs more money because the US military-
industrial complex is losing the information war to the likes of
Russia Today and Al Jazeera.
This loss of course is due to the US corporate media having completely abandoned real news.
This holds true especially with the propaganda war being waged in the United States that specifically targets the American public. Why is it that Hillary thinks she’s losing the infowar?
Perhaps because people are now becoming more skeptical to the recent string of FBI entrapment cases deceitfully called "sting operations," by which young Muslim men have been caught trying to use "weapons of mass destruction" and were directed to plant bombs on synagogues by their FBI handlers.
A clear onslaught of disinformation, half-truths, and especially the paralyzing appeal to fear and prejudice have gripped the American psyche.
Even the supposed parcel bomb, which originated from Yemen,
caught the controlled media with their pants down when it turned
out to be a complete and utter farce.
Synagogues have insidiously and deliberately been chosen as targets by the government in order to bring about tensions between the Jewish and Muslim communities in the United States.
Divide and conquer is an old COINTELPRO tactic.
Take for example the case that involved FBI informant, Shahed Hussain, who lured 4 men to plant bombs at synagogues. Shahed became a government informant after being caught “scamming illegal immigrants trying to get driver’s licenses” according to reports.
Disgustingly enough, Shahed became the prosecution’s top witnesses in the trial of the Newburgh four.
The following is perhaps the greatest analysis of the recent synthetic terror gripping this nation. It concerns the latest government orchestrated terror propaganda entitled the "Christmas Tree Bomber," christened by the news media:

"Having 'groomed' him for mass murder, the Feds actually drove him
to the scene of the intended crime, in a truck containing barrels of
'inert liquid' (water?) bristling with wires and having every
appearance of being a massive bomb.
They parked in the square where a large crowd of folks were
gathering for Santa's pushing of the magic button which would
light up the festive tree.
The crowd obviously contained a large number of small children, so
had this event been 'real' it would have been truly atrocious. But the
event was not 'real' so when Mohamud dialed 'D' for Death on his
mobile phone, believing the Fed's claim that this would set off the
device nothing happened...except he was floored by a posse of
heroic bulls and dragged away to the cells.

It is a clear attempt to shift the current "crisis" from an issue of finacial terrorism to a religious one.
As Wall Street continues to rot and Main Street continues to starve, the controlled press has and will continue distracting people from the disaster they have created.
It is really a sign of the times that they’ll go as far as to outsource the investigation as to how or why the economy is collapsing, then have the audacity to blame it on foreign terrorists.

'The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders.

One of my favorite quotes is from Joseph Schumpeter, who
said, “Everyone has elites the important thing is to change
them from time to time.”
Of course, this is what happens in a well functioning democracy.
The problem today and the reason why the United States is on the verge of some sort of revolution (I believe it will manifest as a revolution of ideas and not an armed one) is that the election of Obama has proven to everyone watching with an unbiased eye that no matter who the President is they continue to prop up an elite at the top that has been running things into the ground for years.
The appointment of Larry Summers and Tiny Turbo-Tax Timmy Geithner provided the most obvious sign that something was seriously not kosher. Then there was the reappointment of Ben Bernanke.
While the Republicans like to simplify him as merely a socialist
he represents something far worse.
Of course it is not just Obama. He is at the end of a long line of
Presidents that think they have some sort of divine right of kings
to rule.
Think about the Presidency of the United States since 1988. Bush, Clinton, Bush…If Obama had not won the Democratic primary we would have ended up with President Hilary Clinton. Catch my drift?
Something is not right here.
This is the United States not some sort of petty monarchy. There
is no divine right of any family or group of families to rule.
When this starts to happen you get the disaster we are now faced with. That said, the bigger point is this.
What Obama has attempted to do is to wipe a complete economic collapse under the rug and maintain the status quo so that the current elite class in the United States remains in control.
The, “People” see this ploy and are furious.
Those that screwed up the United States economy should never
make another important decision about it yet they remain firmly
in control of policy.
The important thing in any functioning democracy is the turnover
of the elite class every now and again.
Yet, "EVERY" single government policy has been geared to keeping that class in power and to pass legislation that gives the Federal Government more power to then buttresses this power structure down the road.
This is why Obama is so unpopular. Everything else is just noise to
keep people divided and distracted.
Getting Into the Mind of Ben Bernanke
I do not have a clear window into the highest levels of power in many areas such as the military or the intelligence community but I do have a very good understanding of it when it comes to the financial system and the economy.
At the end of the day everyone knows that those who can create the money and credit have the ultimate power over any political system.
Therefore, at the top of the economic power of the world is the Federal Reserve and at the top of that is Ben Bernanke.
This is why I took a great deal of interest in reading the full text of his speech today. Much will be written about it but I want to tackle it from two points.
First, who is Ben Bernanke?
You can really see into his head from reading this speech. He is an academic who thinks he is smarter than everyone else which is why he is in the position he is in.
He thinks the key to monetary policy is to trick people into doing things that will hurt them in the end.
He believes the mal-investments he intends to push people and institutions into equals economic growth.
What surprises me so much about the investment community and the American public in general is that so many fail to understand that we live in a top down centralized economic system much more similar to China in more ways than people want to admit.
We look at how the government steers the economy in China and sneer. How are we so different right now?
As far as the speech itself, it confirms something I mentioned several weeks ago.
Banana Ben absolutely wants to do a massive QE2 program. The
only thing holding him back is gold is near an all time high.
What he wants is gold much lower and stocks much lower to give
him cover. Gold has not cooperated so he is in a bind.
He cannot print a massive amount of money with gold here and
stocks at 1055 because what happens if gold soars and stocks sell-
off in the days that follow such an announcement? What if the
response in the treasury market is not as desired?
He is scared to do it here and he is right to be scared because such
a reaction would be the end of the Fed right then and there.
The Fed will be gone anyway within a few years in my opinion but
it’s going to fight hard to survive and if you want to make money
in this market you need to understand that.
The most powerful institution in the world is fighting for its survival. Never forget that.
So what is he going to do? I believe that the Fed and government are doing a lot more than people think to manipulate all markets behind the scenes.
After all, they have publicly announced their manipulation in many other ways so does it make any sense whatsoever to assume they aren’t doing a plethora of other things behind the scenes?
Of course not.
I think that with the Fed in a bind they will accelerate and become ever more aggressive in behind the scenes games. This will make markets even more volatile and extraordinarily challenging.
This is financial war make no mistake about it.
The only way in my opinion to survive this is to buy all dips in
precious metals, agriculture and oil. It is in these three areas that
I expect to see the most price inflation as money eventually figures
out the end game.
The end game is more and more people will eventually wake up to
the fact that the markets are a hologram put in front of you by the
magicians at the Fed.
That what constitutes real wealth in the years ahead will be owning
food, energy and a means of exchange that will be accepted should
a black market economy arise as it has in virtually all nations at one
time or another throughout history.
In the end, the elites will be overthrown and a power vacuum will form.
The transition period will be extremely difficult as the elites will
fight their demise to the end. For you see, they care nothing for
you they care about their power and control.
Nevertheless, rulers have always only ruled by the will (or apathy)
of the people and when the people become overly taxed and abused
they always rebel.
The main thing to think about is what kind of society do we want to
rebuild from the ashes.
I am of the view that it must be a return to the Constitution and an elimination of central banking power and secrecy.
Let’s not fall for a demagogue or be pushed into a war when things are at their worst.

Billions for the Bankers Debts for the People
The Real Story of the Money Control Over America

of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks
and the corporations that will grow up around them, will deprive the
people of their property until their children will wake up homeless on
the continent their fathers conquered."- Thomas Jefferson
Americans, living in what is called the richest nation on earth, seem always to be short of money.
Wives are working in unprecedented numbers, husbands hope for
overtime hours to earn more or take part-time jobs evenings and
weekends, children look for odd jobs for spending money, the family
debt climbs higher and psychologists say one of the biggest causes
of family quarrels and breakups is, "Arguments over Money."
Much of this trouble can be traced to our present, "Debt-Money" system.
Too few Americans realize why Christian Statesmen wrote into
Article I of the U.S. Constitution:
"Congress shall have the Power to Coin Money and Regulate the
Value Thereof."
They did this, as we will show, in prayerful hope that it would
prevent, "The love of Money" from destroying the Republic they
had founded.
We shall see how subversion of Article I has brought on us the,
"EVIL" of which God's Word, had warned.
Money is Man's ONLY, "Creation"
Economists use the term, "Create" when speaking of the process by which money comes into existence. Now, creation means making something that did not exist before.
Lumbermen make boards from trees, workers build houses from lumber and factories manufacture cars from metal, glass and other materials.
But in all these they did not, "Create" they only changed existing materials into a more usable and therefore, more valuable form.
This is not so with money.
Here and here alone, man actually, "Creates" something out of
nothing. A piece of paper of little value is printed so that it is
worth a piece of lumber.
With different figures it can buy the car or even the house. Its
value has been, "Created" in the true meaning of the word.
Money, "Creating" is Profitble.
As is seen by the above, money is very cheap to make and whoever does the, "Creating" of money in a nation can make a tremendous profit!
Builders work hard to make a profit of 5% above their cost to build
a house. Auto makers sell their cars for 1% to 2% above the cost of
manufacture and it is considered good business.
But money, "Manufacturers" have no limit on their profits, since a few cents will print a $1 note or a $10,000 bill.
That profit is part of our story, but first let us consider another
unique characteristic of the thing -- money, the love of which is
the, "Root of all Evil."
Adequate Money Supply Needed
An adequate supply of money is indispensable to civilized society.
We could forego many other things, but without money industry would grind to a halt, farms would become only self-sustaining units, surplus food would disappear, jobs requiring the work of more than one man or one family would remain undone, shipping and large movements of goods would cease, hungry people would plunder and kill to remain alive and all government except family or tribe would cease to function.
An overstatement, you say? Not at all. Money is the blood of civilized society, the means of all commercial trade except simple barter. It is the measure and the instrument by which one product is sold and another purchased.
Remove money or even reduce the supply below that which is necessary to carry on current levels of trade and the results are catastrophic. For an example, we need only look at America's Depression of the early 1930's.
The Bankers Depression of the 1930's
In 1930 America did not lack industrial capacity, fertile farmland, skilled and willing workers or industrious farm families.
It had an extensive and highly efficient transportation system in railroads, road networks and inland and ocean waterways.
Communications between regions and localities were the best in
the world, utilizing telephone, teletype, radio and a well-operated
government mail system.
No war had ravaged the cities or the countryside, no pestilence weakened the population, nor had famine stalked the land.
The United States of America in 1930 lacked only one thing: an adequate supply of money to carry on trade and commerce.
In the early 1930's, Bankers, the only source of new money and credit, deliberately refused loans to industries, stores and farms.
Payments on existing loans were required however and money
rapidly disappeared from circulation.
Goods were available to be purchased, jobs were waiting to be
done, but the lack of money brought the nation to a standstill.
By this simple ploy America was put in a, "Depression" and the
greedy Bankers took possession of hundreds of thousands of
farms, homes and business properties.
The people were told, "Times are Hard" and, "Money is in short
Supply." Not understanding the system, they were cruelly robbed
of their earnings, their savings and their property.
It is as ridiculous for a nation to say to its citizens, "You must
consume less because we are short of money" as it would be for an
Airline to say, "Our planes are flying, but we can't take you because
we are short of tickets."
Money for Peace? No! Money for War? Yes!
World War II ended the, "Depression."
The same Bankers who in the early 30's had no loans for peacetime
houses, food and clothing, suddenly had unlimited billions to lend
for Army barracks, K-rations and uniforms!
A nation that in 1934 couldn't produce food for sale, suddenly could produce bombs to send free to Germany and Japan! (More on this riddle later.)
With the sudden increase in money availability, people were hired,
farms sold their produce, factories went to two shifts, mines re-
opened and, "The Great Depression" was over!
Some politicians were blamed for it and others took credit for ending it. The truth is that the lack of money (caused by the Bankers) brought on the depression and adequate money supply ended it.
The people were never told that simple truth and in this article we will endeavor to show how these same Bankers who control our money and credit have used their control to plunder America and place us in bondage.
Power to Coin and Regulate Money
When we can see the disastrous results of an artificially created
shortage of money, we can better understand why our Founding
Fathers, who understood both money and God's Laws, insisted on
placing the power to, "Create" money and the power to control it
only in the hands of the Federal Congress.
They believed that all citizens should share in the profits of its,
"Creation" and therefore the national government must be the
only creator of money.
They further believed that all citizens, of whatever State or Territory, or station in life, would benefit by an adequate and stable currency and decided therefore, that the national government must also be, by law, the only controller of the value of money.
Since the Federal Congress was the only legislative body subject to
all the citizens at the ballot box, it was, to their minds, the only safe
depository of so much profit and so much power.
They wrote it out in the simple, but all-inclusive:
"Congress shall have the Power to Coin Money and Regulate the
Value Thereof."
How the People Lost Control to the Federal Reserve
Instead of the Constitutional method of creating our money and putting it into circulation, we now have an entirely unconstitutional system. This has resulted in disastrous conditions, as we shall see.
Since our money was handled both legally and illegally before 1913, we shall consider only the years following 1913, since from that year on, all of our money has been created and issued by an illegal method that will eventually destroy the United States if it is not changed.
Prior to 1913, America was a prosperous, powerful, and growing nation, at peace with its neighbors and the envy of the world.
But in December of 1913, Congress, with many members away for
the Christmas holidays, passed what has since been known as the,
"FEDERAL RESERVE ACT."
Omitting the fine details, it simply authorized the establishment of a Federal Reserve Corporation, with a Board of Directors (The Federal Reserve Board) to run it, and the United States was divided into 12 Federal Reserve, "Districts."
This simple, but terrible, law completely removed from Congress the right to, "Create" money or to have any control over its, "Creation," and gave that function to the Federal Reserve Corporation.
This was done with appropriate fanfare and propaganda that this would, "Remove money from Politics" (they didn't say, "and therefore from the people's control") and prevent, "Boom and Bust" from hurting our citizens.
The people were not told then and most still do not know today, that
the Federal Reserve Corporation is a private corporation controlled
by bankers and therefore is operated for the financial gain of the
bankers over the people rather than for the good of the people.
The word, "Federal" was used only to deceive the people.
More Disastrous Than Pearl Harbor
Since that, "Day of Infamy," more disastrous to us than Pearl Harbor, the small group of, "Privileged" people who lend us, "Our" money have accrued to themselves all of the profits of printing our money and more!
Since 1913 they have, "Created" tens of billions of dollars in money and credit, which, as their own personal property, they then lend to our government and our people at interest.
"The rich get richer and the poor get poorer" had and has become
the secret policy of our National Government.
An example of the process of, "Creation" and its conversion to people's, "Debt" will aid our understanding.
They Print It We Borrow It and Pay Them Interest
We shall start with the need for money. The Federal Government, having spent more than it has taken from its citizens in taxes, needs, for the sake of illustration, $1 billion.
Since it does not have the money and Congress has given away its authority to, "Create" it, the Government must go to the, "Creators" for the $1 billion.
But, the Federal Reserve, a private corporation, doesn't just give its money away!
The Bankers are willing to deliver $1 billion in money or credit to the Federal Government in exchange for the Government's agreement to pay it back with interest!
So Congress authorizes the Treasury Department to print
$1,000,000,000 in U.S. Bonds, which are then delivered to the
Federal Reserve Bankers.
The Federal Reserve then pays the cost of printing the
$1,000,000,000 (about $1,000) and makes the exchange. The
Government then uses the money to pay its obligations.
What are the results of this fantastic transaction?
Well, $1 billion in Government bills are paid all right, but the
Government has now indebted the people to the Bankers for
$1 billion on which the people must pay interest!
Tens of thousands of such transactions have taken place since 1913 so that by the 1980's, the U.S. Government was indebted to the Bankers for over a trillion dollars on which the people pay over $100 billion a year in interest alone with no hope of ever paying off the principal.
In 1995, the total Federal Debt had grown to over $5 trillion, with an annual interest payment of $203 billion, 14% of the federal budget.
Supposedly our children and the following generations will pay for ever and ever!
And There's More!
You say, "This is terrible!" Yes, it is, but we have shown only part
of the sordid story.
Under this unholy system, those United States Bonds have now
become, "Assets" of the Banks in the Reserve System which they
then use as, "Reserves" to, "Create" more, "Credit" to lend.
Current, "Reserve" requirements allow them to use that $1 billion in bonds to, "Create" as much as $15 billion in new, "Credit" to lend to States, Municipalities, Individuals and Businesses.
Added to the original $1 billion, they could have $16 billion of,
"Created Credit" out in loans paying them interest with their
only cost being $1,000 for printing the origina1 $1 billion!
Since the U.S. Congress has not issued Constitutional money since
1863 (over 100 years), in order for the people to have money to
carry on trade and commerce they are forced to borrow the,
"Created Credit" of the Monopoly Bankers and pay them usury-interest!
And There's Still More
In addition to the vast wealth drawn to them through this almost unlimited usury, the top Bankers who control the money supply are able to approve or disapprove big loans to large and successful corporations to the extent that refusal of a loan will bring about a reduction in the price that that Corporation's stock sells for on the market.
After depressing the price, the Bankers' agents buy large blocks
of the stock, after which the sometimes multi-million dollar loan
is approved, the stock rises and is then sold for a profit. In this
manner billions of dollars are made with which to buy more stock.
This practice is so refined today that the Federal Reserve Board
need only announce to the newspapers an increase or decrease in
their, "Basic Interest Rate" to send stocks up or down as they wish.
Using this method since 1913, the Bankers and their agents have
purchased secret or open control of almost every large corporation
in America.
Using that control, they then force the corporations to borrow huge sums from their banks so that corporation earnings are siphoned off in the form of interest to the banks.
This leaves little as actual, "Profits" which can be paid as dividends and explains why stock prices are so depressed, while the banks reap billions in interest from corporate loans.
In effect, the bankers get almost all of the profits, while individual stock holders are left holding the bag.
The millions of working families of America are now indebted to the few thousand Banking Families for twice the assessed value of the entire United States.
And these Banking Families obtained that debt against us for the
cost of paper, ink and book-keeping!
The Interest Amount is Never Created
The only way new money (which is not true money, but is, "Credit" representing a debt), goes into circulation in America is when it is borrowed from Bankers.
When the State and people borrow large sums, we seem to prosper.
However, the Bankers, "Create" only the amount of the principal
of each loan, never the extra amount needed to pay the interest.
Therefore, the new money never equals the new debt added. The amounts needed to pay the interest on loans is not, "Created" and therefore does not exist!
Under this kind of a system, where new debt always exceeds the new money no matter how much or how little is borrowed, the total debt increasingly outstrips the amount of money available to pay the debt. The people can never, ever get out of debt!
An example will show the viciousness of this usury-debt system with its, "Built-In" shortage of money.
If $60,000 is Borrowed, $255,931.20, "Must Be Paid Back!"
When a citizen goes to a Banker to borrow $60,000 to purchase a home or a farm, the Bank clerk has the borrower agree to pay back the loan plus interest.
At 14% interest for 30 years, the Borrower must agree to pay $710.92 per month for a total of $255,931.20.
Considering that the original amount borrowed was only $60,000 does this not rank as extortion?
The clerk then requires the citizen to assign to the Banker the right of ownership of the property if the Borrower does not make the required payments.
The Bank clerk then gives the Borrower a $60,000 check or a
$60,000 deposit slip crediting the Borrower's checking account
with $60,000.
The Borrower then writes checks to the builder, subcontractors, etc., who in turn write checks. $60,000 of new, "Checkbook" money is thereby added to, "Money in Circulation."
However, and this is the fatal flaw in a usury system, the only new money created and put into circulation is the amount of the loan, $60,000. The money to pay the interest is not created and therefore, was not added to, "Money in Circulation."
Even so, this Borrower (and those who follow him in ownership of the property) must earn and take out of circulation $255,931.00, almost $200,000 more than he put in circulation when he borrowed the origina1 $60,000.
By the way, it is this interest which cheats all families out of nicer homes. It is not that they can't afford them; it is because the Banker's usury forces them to pay for 4 homes to get just one!
Every new loan puts the same process in operation. Each borrower
adds a small sum to the total money supply when he borrows, but
the payments on the loan (because of interest) then deduct a much
larger sum from the total money supply.
There is therefore no way all debtors can pay off the money-lenders. As they pay the principal and interest, the money in circulation disappears. All they can do is struggle against each other, borrowing more and more from the money-lenders each generation.
The money-lenders (Bankers), who produce nothing of value, slowly, then more rapidly, gain a death grip on the land, buildings and present and future earnings of the whole working population.
Proverbs 22:7 has come to pass in America. The borrowers have
become the servants of the lenders. No wonder God Almighty,
forbids interest on loans.
Small Loans Do the Same Thing
If you haven't quite grasped the impact of the above, let us consider a small car loan for 3 years at 18% interest.
Step 1: Citizen borrows $5,000 and pays it into circulation (it goes to the dealer, factory, miner, etc.) and signs a note agreeing to pay the Banker $6,500.
Step 2: Citizen pays $180 per month of his earnings to the Banker.
In 3 years he will take out of circulation $1,500 more than he put in
circulation. Every loan of Banker, "Created" money (credit) causes
the same thing to happen.
Since this has happened millions of times since 1913 (and continues
today), you can see why America has gone from a prosperous, debt-
free nation to a debt-ridden nation where practically every home,
farm and business is paying usury-tribute to some Banker.
The usury-tribute to the Bankers on personal, local, State and
Federal debt totals more than the combined earnings of 25% of
the working people. Soon it will be 50% and continue up.
This is Why Bankers Prosper in Good Times or Bad
In the millions of transactions made each year like those above,
little actual currency changes hands, nor is it necessary that it do so.
95% of all, "Cash" transactions in the U.S. are by check, so the
Banker is perfectly safe in, "Creating" that so-called, "Loan" by
writing the check or deposit slip, not against actual money, but,
"AGAINST YOUR PROMISE TO PAY IT BACK!"
The cost to him is paper, ink and a few dollars in salaries and office costs for each transaction. The profits increase rapidly, year after year. The Cost To You? Eventually, Everything!
In 1910 the U.S. Federal debt was only $1 billion, or $12.40 per
citizen. State and local debts were practically non-existent.
By 1920, after only 6 years of Federal Reserve shenanigans, the Federal debt had jumped to $24 billion, or $228 per person.
In 1960 the Federal debt reached $284 billion, or $1,575 per
citizen and State and local debts were mushrooming.
By 1981 the Federal debt passed $1 trillion and was growing exponentially as the Bankers tripled the interest rates.
State and local debts are now more than the Federal, with business and personal debts totalling over $6 trillion, 3 times the value of all the land and buildings in America.
If we signed over to the money-lenders all of America we would still owe them 2 more Americas (plus their usury, of course!)
However, they are too cunning to take title to everything.
They will instead leave you with some, "Illusion of Ownership" so you and your children will continue to work and pay the Bankers more of your earnings in ever-increasing debts.
The, "Establishment" has captured our people with their ungodly
system of usury and debt as certainly as if they had marched in
with a uniformed army.
For The Gamblers Among My Readers
To grasp the truth that periodic withdrawal of money through interest payments will inexorably transfer all wealth in the nation to the receiver of interest, imagine yourself in a poker or dice game where everyone must buy the chips (the medium of exchange) from a, "Banker" who does not risk chips in the game, but watches the table and every hour reaches in and takes 10% to 15% of all the chips on the table.
As the game goes on, the amount of chips in the possession of each player will go up and down with their, "Luck." However, the total number of chips available to play the game (carry on trade and business) will decrease rapidly.
The game will get low on chips and some will run out. If they want to continue to play, they must buy or borrow them from the, "Banker."
The, "Banker" will sell (lend) them only if the player signs a,
"Mortgage" agreeing to give the, "Banker" some real property
(car, home, farm, business, etc.) if he cannot make periodic
payments to pay back all of the chips plus some extra ones
(interest). The payments must be made on time, whether he
wins (makes a profit) or not.
It is easy to see that no matter how skillfully they play, eventually
the, "Banker" will end up with all of his original chips back and
except for the very best players, the rest, if they stay in long
enough, will lose to the, "Banker" their homes, their farms, their
businesses, perhaps even their cars, watches, rings and the shirts
off their backs!
Our real-life situation is much worse than any poker game. In a
poker game none is forced to go into debt and anyone can quit
at any time and keep whatever he still has.
But in real life, even if we borrow little ourselves from the Bankers, the local, State and Federal, governments borrow billions in our name, squander it, then confiscate our earnings from us and pay it back to the Bankers with interest.
We are forced to play the game and none can leave except by death. We pay as long as we live and our children pay after we die.
If we cannot pay, the same government sends the police to take our property and give it to the Bankers. The Bankers risk nothing in the game; they just collect their percentage and, "Win it All."
In Las Vegas and at other gambling centers, all games are, "Rigged" to pay the owner a percentage and they rake in millions. The Federal Reserve Bankers, "Game" is also rigged, and it pays off in billions!
In recent years Bankers added real, "Cards" to their game. "Credit" cards are promoted as a convenience and a great boon to trade.
Actually, they are ingenious devices by which Bankers collect 2% to
5% of every retail sale from the seller and 18% interest from buyers.
A real, "Stacked" deck! (And you wondered why so many credit card applications are constantly sent to everybody? Well, you know now!)
Yes, It's Political, Too
Democrat, Republican and Independent, voters who have wondered why politicians always spend more tax money than they take in should now see the reason.
When they begin to study our, "Debt-Money" system, they soon
realize that these politicians are not the agents of the people
but are the agents of the Bankers, for whom they plan ways to
place the people further in debt.
It takes only a little imagination to see that if Congress had been, "Creating" and spending or issuing into circulation the necessary increase in the money supply, "THERE WOULD BE NO NATIONAL DEBT" and the over $4 Trillion of other debts would be practically non-existent.
Since there would be no original cost of money except printing, and no continuing costs such as interest, Federal taxes would be almost nil.
Money, once in circulation, would remain there and go on serving its purpose as a medium of exchange for generation after generation and century after century, just as coins do now, with no payments to the Bankers whatsoever!
Mounting Debts and Wars
But instead of peace and debt-free prosperity, we have ever-
mounting debt and periodic wars.
We as a people are now ruled by a system of Banker-owned Mammon that has usurped the mantle of government, disguised itself as our legitimate government and set about to pauperize and control our people.
It is now a centralized, all-powerful political apparatus whose main purposes are promoting war, spending the peoples' money and propagandizing to perpetuate itself in power.
Our two large political parties have become its servants, the various departments of government its spending agencies, and the Internal Revenue its collection agency.
Unknown to the people, it operates in close cooperation with
similar apparatuses in other nations, which are also disguised
as, "Governments." Some, we are told, are friends. Some, we
are told, are enemies.
"Enemies" are built up through international manipulations and used to frighten the American people into going billions of dollars more into debt to the Bankers for, "Military Preparedness" and, "Foreign aid to stop Communism" and, "Minority Rights," etc.
Citizens, deliberately confused by brainwashing propaganda, watch helplessly while our politicians give our food, goods and money to Banker-controlled alien governments under the guise of, "Better Relations" and, "Easing Tensions."
Our Banker-controlled government takes our finest and bravest
sons and daughters, sends them into foreign wars where tens of
thousands are murdered and hundreds of thousands are crippled.
Other thousands are morally corrupted, addicted to drugs and
infected with venereal and other diseases, which they bring
back to the United States.
When the, "War" is over, we have gained nothing, but we are
scores of billions of dollars more in debt to the Bankers,
which was the reason for the, "War" in the first place!
And There's Yet More...
The profits from these massive debts have been used to erect a
complete and almost hidden economic and political colossus over
our nation.
They keep telling us they are trying to do us, "Good" when in truth
they work to bring harm and injury to our people.
These would-be despots know it is easier to control and rob an ill,
poorly-educated and confused people than it is a healthy and
intelligent population, so they deliberately prevent real cures for
diseases, they degrade our educational systems and they stir up
social and racial unrest.
For the same reason they favor drug use, alcohol, sexual
promiscuity, abortion, pornography and crime.
Everything which debilitates the minds and bodies of the people is
secretly encouraged, as it makes the people less able to oppose
them or even to understand what is being done to them.
Family, morals, love of Country, the Christian religion, all that is
honorable is being swept away, while they try to build their new,
subservient man.
Our new, "Rulers" are trying to change our whole social, religious and political order, but they will not change the debt-money economic system by which they rob and rule.
Our people have become tenants and, "Debt-Slaves" to the Bankers and their agents in the land our fathers created. It is conquest through the most gigantic fraud and swindle in the history of mankind.
And we remind you again: The key to their wealth and power over us is their ability to create, "Money" out of nothing and lend it to us at interest. If they had not been allowed to do that, they would never have gained secret control of our nation.
How true Solomon's words are: "The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender" (Proverbs 22:7).
God Almighty, warned in the Bible that one of the curses which would come upon His People, for disobeying His Laws, was:
"The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low. He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him; he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail." [Deut. 28: 44-45].
Has that warning come to fruition in America?
Let us now consider the correct method of providing the medium of exchange (money) needed by our people.
The Constitutional Way Every Citizen A Stockholder
If we had used the Constitutional way of, "Creating" the money needed in the nation, the Federal Congress would spend most of its time and study on the issuance and control of an adequate supply of stable money for the people.
If an increase of population and production required an increase in the medium of exchange, Congress would authorize the, "Coining," (i.e., printing) of the determined amount. Some could be used to pay current legitimate expenses of the Federal Government, with the balance paid directly to the citizens.
Records for payment would be similar to Social Security records,
except a citizen would be recorded at birth, instead of when he
first goes to work. Each person on the records as of the date of
the Congressional authorization would receive an equal amount just
as if he or she, were a stockholder holding one share.
Just think, a payment of only $20 to each citizen would put $4
billion of debt-free and interest-free money into circulation.
Such a suggestion always scares the Bankers. Their propagandists will immediately cry, "Printing Press Money" and warn that it would soon be, "Worthless" and would, "Cause Inflation."
The truth is, their immense usury charges on their, "Created" credit (our debt) is the sole cause of inflation. All prices on all industry, trade and labor, must be raised periodically to pay the ever increasing usury charges.
That is the only cause of higher prices and the money-changers spend millions in propaganda to keep you from realizing that.
The money-creators (Bankers) know that if we ever tried a Constitutional issue of debt-free, interest-free currency, even a limited issue, the benefits would be apparent immediately. That they must prevent.
Abraham Lincoln was the last President to issue such debt-free and interest-free currency (in 1863) and he was assassinated shortly thereafter. Kennedy was known to be contemplating doing the same thing about the time that he was killed.
No Banker's Plunder
Under a Constitutional system no private banks would exist to rob the people.
Government banks under the control of the people's representatives would issue and control all money and credit. They would issue not only actual currency, but could lend limited credit at no interest for the purchase of capital goods, such as homes.
A $60,000 loan would require only $60.000 repayment, not $255,931 as it is now.
Everyone who supplied materials and labor for the home would get paid just as they do today, but the Bankers would not get $195,931 in usury, and that is why they ridicule and destroy anyone suggesting Government (Citizens') Money without Interest and without Debt.
History tells us of debt-free and interest-free money issued by governments. The American colonies did it in the 1700's and their wealth soon rivalled England and brought restrictions from Parliament, which led to the Revolutionary War.
Abraham Lincoln did it in 1863 to help finance the Civil War. He was later assassinated by an agent of the Rothschild Bank. No debt-free or interest-free money has been issued in America since then.
Several Arab nations issue interest-free loans to their citizens today. The Saracen Empire forbad interest on money for 1,000 years, and its wealth outshone even Saxon Europe.
Mandarin China issued its own money, interest-free and debt-free
and historians and collectors of art today consider those centuries
to be China's time of greatest wealth, culture and peace.
Germany issued debt-free and interest-free money from 1935 and on, accounting for its startling rise from the depression to a world power in 5 years.
Germany financed its entire government and war operation from 1935 to 1945 without gold and without debt, and it took the whole Capitalist and Communist world to destroy the German power over Europe and bring Europe back under the heel of the Bankers.
Such history of money does not even appear in the textbooks of public (government) schools today.
Issuing money which doesn't have to be paid back in interest leaves the money available to use in the exchange of goods and services and its only continuing cost is replacement as the paper wears out.
Money is the paper ticket by which such transfers are made and should always be in sufficient quantity to transfer all possible production of the nation to ultimate consumers.
Why You Haven't Known
We realize this article on the mechanics of money may be charged with over-simplification.
Some readers may say that if it is this simple the people would have known about it and it could not have happened.
But this, "MONEY-LENDERS," "consPIRACY" is as old as Babylon, and even in America it dates far back before the year 1913.
Actually, 1913 may be considered the year in which their previous plans came to fruition and the way opened for complete economic conquest of the people.
The, "consPIRACY" is old enough in America so that its agents have
been, for many years, in positions such as newspaper publishers,
editors, columnists, church ministers, university presidents,
professors, textbook writers, labor union leaders, movie makers,
radio and TV commentators, politicians, school board members,
U.S. presidents, and many others.
Controlled News and Information
These agents control the information available to our people. They manipulate public opinion, elect whom they will locally and nationally, and never expose the crooked money system.
They promote school bonds, municipal bonds, expensive and
detrimental farm programs, "Urban Renewal," foreign aid and
many other schemes which will put the people more into debt
to the Bankers.
Thoughtful citizens wonder why billions are spent on one program and billions on another which may duplicate it or even nullify it, such as paying some farmers not to raise crops, while at the same time building dams or canals to irrigate more farm land.
Crazy or stupid? Neither. The goal is more debt. Thousands of government-sponsored ways to waste money go on continually.
Most make no sense, but they are never exposed for what they really are, builders of, "Billions for the Bankers and Debts for the People."
So-called, "Economic Experts" write syndicated columns in hundreds of newspapers, craftily designed to prevent the people from learning the simple truth about our money system.
Commentators on radio and TV, preachers, educators and politicians, blame the people as wasteful, lazy or spend-thrift and blame the workers and consumers for the increase in debts and the inflation of prices, when they know the cause is the debt-money system itself.
People are overwhelmed with charges and counter-charges designed to confuse them and keep them from understanding the unconstitutional and evil money-system that is so efficiently and silently robbing the farmers, the workers and the businessmen, of the fruits of their labors and of their freedoms.
When some few patriotic people or organizations who know the truth begin to expose them or try to stop any of their greedy schemes, the exposers are ridiculed and vilified.
Any calumny is used which will cause them to shut up or will at least stop other people from listening to the warning they are giving. Books and articles such as you are now reading are kept out of schools, libraries, and book stores.
Some, who are especially vocal in their exposure of the treason against ordinary people, are harassed by government agencies such as the EPA, OSHA, the IRS and others, causing them financial loss or bankruptcy.
Using these methods, they have been completely successful in
preventing most Americans from learning the things you have
read in this document.
However, in spite of their control of information, they realize
many citizens are learning the truth.
Therefore, to prevent violence or armed resistance to their plunder of America, they plan to register all firearms and eventually to disarm all citizens. They have to eliminate most guns, except those in the hands of their government police and army.
Tell The People
The "almost hidden" conspirators in politics, religion, education, entertainment and the news media are working for a Banker-owned United States in a Banker-owned World under a Banker-owned World Government!
Love of Country and concern for your children should make you deeply interested in this, America's greatest problem, for our generation has not suffered under the, "Yoke" as the coming generations will.
Usury and taxes will continue to take a larger and larger part of the annual earnings of the people and put them into the pockets of the Bankers and their political Agents.
Increasing, "Government" regulations will prevent citizen protest
and opposition to their control.
It is possible that your grandchildren will own neither home nor car, but will live in, "Government-Owned" apartments and ride to work in, "Governent-Owned" buses (both paying usury to the Bankers), and be allowed to keep just enough of their earnings to buy a minimm of food and clothing, while their Rulers wallow in luxury.
In Asia and eastern Europe this is called, "Communism;" in America it is called, "Democracy" and, "Capitalism."
America will not shake off her Banker-controlled dictatorship as long as the people are ignorant of the hidden controllers.
International financiers, who control most of the governments of
the nations and most sources of information, seem to have us
completely sewn up.
They are afraid of only one thing: an awakened enlightened
Citizenry, armed with the truth and with a trust in Almighty
God, for deliverance.
This discourse has given you the truth about their iniquitous system.
What you do with it is in your hands, and in the hands of Divine Providence.

Americans, living in what is called the richest nation on earth, seem always to be short of money.
Wives are working in unprecedented numbers, husbands hope for
overtime hours to earn more or take part-time jobs evenings and
weekends, children look for odd jobs for spending money, the family
debt climbs higher and psychologists say one of the biggest causes
of family quarrels and breakups is, "Arguments over Money."
Much of this trouble can be traced to our present, "Debt-Money" system.
Too few Americans realize why Christian Statesmen wrote into
Article I of the U.S. Constitution:
"Congress shall have the Power to Coin Money and Regulate the
Value Thereof."
They did this, as we will show, in prayerful hope that it would
prevent, "The love of Money" from destroying the Republic they
had founded.
We shall see how subversion of Article I has brought on us the,
"EVIL" of which God's Word, had warned.
Money is Man's ONLY, "Creation"
Economists use the term, "Create" when speaking of the process by which money comes into existence. Now, creation means making something that did not exist before.
Lumbermen make boards from trees, workers build houses from lumber and factories manufacture cars from metal, glass and other materials.
But in all these they did not, "Create" they only changed existing materials into a more usable and therefore, more valuable form.
This is not so with money.
Here and here alone, man actually, "Creates" something out of
nothing. A piece of paper of little value is printed so that it is
worth a piece of lumber.
With different figures it can buy the car or even the house. Its
value has been, "Created" in the true meaning of the word.
Money, "Creating" is Profitble.
As is seen by the above, money is very cheap to make and whoever does the, "Creating" of money in a nation can make a tremendous profit!
Builders work hard to make a profit of 5% above their cost to build
a house. Auto makers sell their cars for 1% to 2% above the cost of
manufacture and it is considered good business.
But money, "Manufacturers" have no limit on their profits, since a few cents will print a $1 note or a $10,000 bill.
That profit is part of our story, but first let us consider another
unique characteristic of the thing -- money, the love of which is
the, "Root of all Evil."
Adequate Money Supply Needed
An adequate supply of money is indispensable to civilized society.
We could forego many other things, but without money industry would grind to a halt, farms would become only self-sustaining units, surplus food would disappear, jobs requiring the work of more than one man or one family would remain undone, shipping and large movements of goods would cease, hungry people would plunder and kill to remain alive and all government except family or tribe would cease to function.
An overstatement, you say? Not at all. Money is the blood of civilized society, the means of all commercial trade except simple barter. It is the measure and the instrument by which one product is sold and another purchased.
Remove money or even reduce the supply below that which is necessary to carry on current levels of trade and the results are catastrophic. For an example, we need only look at America's Depression of the early 1930's.
The Bankers Depression of the 1930's
In 1930 America did not lack industrial capacity, fertile farmland, skilled and willing workers or industrious farm families.
It had an extensive and highly efficient transportation system in railroads, road networks and inland and ocean waterways.
Communications between regions and localities were the best in
the world, utilizing telephone, teletype, radio and a well-operated
government mail system.
No war had ravaged the cities or the countryside, no pestilence weakened the population, nor had famine stalked the land.
The United States of America in 1930 lacked only one thing: an adequate supply of money to carry on trade and commerce.
In the early 1930's, Bankers, the only source of new money and credit, deliberately refused loans to industries, stores and farms.
Payments on existing loans were required however and money
rapidly disappeared from circulation.
Goods were available to be purchased, jobs were waiting to be
done, but the lack of money brought the nation to a standstill.
By this simple ploy America was put in a, "Depression" and the
greedy Bankers took possession of hundreds of thousands of
farms, homes and business properties.
The people were told, "Times are Hard" and, "Money is in short
Supply." Not understanding the system, they were cruelly robbed
of their earnings, their savings and their property.
It is as ridiculous for a nation to say to its citizens, "You must
consume less because we are short of money" as it would be for an
Airline to say, "Our planes are flying, but we can't take you because
we are short of tickets."
Money for Peace? No! Money for War? Yes!
World War II ended the, "Depression."
The same Bankers who in the early 30's had no loans for peacetime
houses, food and clothing, suddenly had unlimited billions to lend
for Army barracks, K-rations and uniforms!
A nation that in 1934 couldn't produce food for sale, suddenly could produce bombs to send free to Germany and Japan! (More on this riddle later.)
With the sudden increase in money availability, people were hired,
farms sold their produce, factories went to two shifts, mines re-
opened and, "The Great Depression" was over!
Some politicians were blamed for it and others took credit for ending it. The truth is that the lack of money (caused by the Bankers) brought on the depression and adequate money supply ended it.
The people were never told that simple truth and in this article we will endeavor to show how these same Bankers who control our money and credit have used their control to plunder America and place us in bondage.
Power to Coin and Regulate Money
When we can see the disastrous results of an artificially created
shortage of money, we can better understand why our Founding
Fathers, who understood both money and God's Laws, insisted on
placing the power to, "Create" money and the power to control it
only in the hands of the Federal Congress.
They believed that all citizens should share in the profits of its,
"Creation" and therefore the national government must be the
only creator of money.
They further believed that all citizens, of whatever State or Territory, or station in life, would benefit by an adequate and stable currency and decided therefore, that the national government must also be, by law, the only controller of the value of money.
Since the Federal Congress was the only legislative body subject to
all the citizens at the ballot box, it was, to their minds, the only safe
depository of so much profit and so much power.
They wrote it out in the simple, but all-inclusive:
"Congress shall have the Power to Coin Money and Regulate the
Value Thereof."
How the People Lost Control to the Federal Reserve
Instead of the Constitutional method of creating our money and putting it into circulation, we now have an entirely unconstitutional system. This has resulted in disastrous conditions, as we shall see.
Since our money was handled both legally and illegally before 1913, we shall consider only the years following 1913, since from that year on, all of our money has been created and issued by an illegal method that will eventually destroy the United States if it is not changed.
Prior to 1913, America was a prosperous, powerful, and growing nation, at peace with its neighbors and the envy of the world.
But in December of 1913, Congress, with many members away for
the Christmas holidays, passed what has since been known as the,
"FEDERAL RESERVE ACT."
Omitting the fine details, it simply authorized the establishment of a Federal Reserve Corporation, with a Board of Directors (The Federal Reserve Board) to run it, and the United States was divided into 12 Federal Reserve, "Districts."
This simple, but terrible, law completely removed from Congress the right to, "Create" money or to have any control over its, "Creation," and gave that function to the Federal Reserve Corporation.
This was done with appropriate fanfare and propaganda that this would, "Remove money from Politics" (they didn't say, "and therefore from the people's control") and prevent, "Boom and Bust" from hurting our citizens.
The people were not told then and most still do not know today, that
the Federal Reserve Corporation is a private corporation controlled
by bankers and therefore is operated for the financial gain of the
bankers over the people rather than for the good of the people.
The word, "Federal" was used only to deceive the people.
More Disastrous Than Pearl Harbor
Since that, "Day of Infamy," more disastrous to us than Pearl Harbor, the small group of, "Privileged" people who lend us, "Our" money have accrued to themselves all of the profits of printing our money and more!
Since 1913 they have, "Created" tens of billions of dollars in money and credit, which, as their own personal property, they then lend to our government and our people at interest.
"The rich get richer and the poor get poorer" had and has become
the secret policy of our National Government.
An example of the process of, "Creation" and its conversion to people's, "Debt" will aid our understanding.
They Print It We Borrow It and Pay Them Interest
We shall start with the need for money. The Federal Government, having spent more than it has taken from its citizens in taxes, needs, for the sake of illustration, $1 billion.
Since it does not have the money and Congress has given away its authority to, "Create" it, the Government must go to the, "Creators" for the $1 billion.
But, the Federal Reserve, a private corporation, doesn't just give its money away!
The Bankers are willing to deliver $1 billion in money or credit to the Federal Government in exchange for the Government's agreement to pay it back with interest!
So Congress authorizes the Treasury Department to print
$1,000,000,000 in U.S. Bonds, which are then delivered to the
Federal Reserve Bankers.
The Federal Reserve then pays the cost of printing the
$1,000,000,000 (about $1,000) and makes the exchange. The
Government then uses the money to pay its obligations.
What are the results of this fantastic transaction?
Well, $1 billion in Government bills are paid all right, but the
Government has now indebted the people to the Bankers for
$1 billion on which the people must pay interest!
Tens of thousands of such transactions have taken place since 1913 so that by the 1980's, the U.S. Government was indebted to the Bankers for over a trillion dollars on which the people pay over $100 billion a year in interest alone with no hope of ever paying off the principal.
In 1995, the total Federal Debt had grown to over $5 trillion, with an annual interest payment of $203 billion, 14% of the federal budget.
Supposedly our children and the following generations will pay for ever and ever!
And There's More!
You say, "This is terrible!" Yes, it is, but we have shown only part
of the sordid story.
Under this unholy system, those United States Bonds have now
become, "Assets" of the Banks in the Reserve System which they
then use as, "Reserves" to, "Create" more, "Credit" to lend.
Current, "Reserve" requirements allow them to use that $1 billion in bonds to, "Create" as much as $15 billion in new, "Credit" to lend to States, Municipalities, Individuals and Businesses.
Added to the original $1 billion, they could have $16 billion of,
"Created Credit" out in loans paying them interest with their
only cost being $1,000 for printing the origina1 $1 billion!
Since the U.S. Congress has not issued Constitutional money since
1863 (over 100 years), in order for the people to have money to
carry on trade and commerce they are forced to borrow the,
"Created Credit" of the Monopoly Bankers and pay them usury-interest!
And There's Still More
In addition to the vast wealth drawn to them through this almost unlimited usury, the top Bankers who control the money supply are able to approve or disapprove big loans to large and successful corporations to the extent that refusal of a loan will bring about a reduction in the price that that Corporation's stock sells for on the market.
After depressing the price, the Bankers' agents buy large blocks
of the stock, after which the sometimes multi-million dollar loan
is approved, the stock rises and is then sold for a profit. In this
manner billions of dollars are made with which to buy more stock.
This practice is so refined today that the Federal Reserve Board
need only announce to the newspapers an increase or decrease in
their, "Basic Interest Rate" to send stocks up or down as they wish.
Using this method since 1913, the Bankers and their agents have
purchased secret or open control of almost every large corporation
in America.
Using that control, they then force the corporations to borrow huge sums from their banks so that corporation earnings are siphoned off in the form of interest to the banks.
This leaves little as actual, "Profits" which can be paid as dividends and explains why stock prices are so depressed, while the banks reap billions in interest from corporate loans.
In effect, the bankers get almost all of the profits, while individual stock holders are left holding the bag.
The millions of working families of America are now indebted to the few thousand Banking Families for twice the assessed value of the entire United States.
And these Banking Families obtained that debt against us for the
cost of paper, ink and book-keeping!
The Interest Amount is Never Created
The only way new money (which is not true money, but is, "Credit" representing a debt), goes into circulation in America is when it is borrowed from Bankers.
When the State and people borrow large sums, we seem to prosper.
However, the Bankers, "Create" only the amount of the principal
of each loan, never the extra amount needed to pay the interest.
Therefore, the new money never equals the new debt added. The amounts needed to pay the interest on loans is not, "Created" and therefore does not exist!
Under this kind of a system, where new debt always exceeds the new money no matter how much or how little is borrowed, the total debt increasingly outstrips the amount of money available to pay the debt. The people can never, ever get out of debt!
An example will show the viciousness of this usury-debt system with its, "Built-In" shortage of money.
If $60,000 is Borrowed, $255,931.20, "Must Be Paid Back!"
When a citizen goes to a Banker to borrow $60,000 to purchase a home or a farm, the Bank clerk has the borrower agree to pay back the loan plus interest.
At 14% interest for 30 years, the Borrower must agree to pay $710.92 per month for a total of $255,931.20.
Considering that the original amount borrowed was only $60,000 does this not rank as extortion?
The clerk then requires the citizen to assign to the Banker the right of ownership of the property if the Borrower does not make the required payments.
The Bank clerk then gives the Borrower a $60,000 check or a
$60,000 deposit slip crediting the Borrower's checking account
with $60,000.
The Borrower then writes checks to the builder, subcontractors, etc., who in turn write checks. $60,000 of new, "Checkbook" money is thereby added to, "Money in Circulation."
However, and this is the fatal flaw in a usury system, the only new money created and put into circulation is the amount of the loan, $60,000. The money to pay the interest is not created and therefore, was not added to, "Money in Circulation."
Even so, this Borrower (and those who follow him in ownership of the property) must earn and take out of circulation $255,931.00, almost $200,000 more than he put in circulation when he borrowed the origina1 $60,000.
By the way, it is this interest which cheats all families out of nicer homes. It is not that they can't afford them; it is because the Banker's usury forces them to pay for 4 homes to get just one!
Every new loan puts the same process in operation. Each borrower
adds a small sum to the total money supply when he borrows, but
the payments on the loan (because of interest) then deduct a much
larger sum from the total money supply.
There is therefore no way all debtors can pay off the money-lenders. As they pay the principal and interest, the money in circulation disappears. All they can do is struggle against each other, borrowing more and more from the money-lenders each generation.
The money-lenders (Bankers), who produce nothing of value, slowly, then more rapidly, gain a death grip on the land, buildings and present and future earnings of the whole working population.
Proverbs 22:7 has come to pass in America. The borrowers have
become the servants of the lenders. No wonder God Almighty,
forbids interest on loans.
Small Loans Do the Same Thing
If you haven't quite grasped the impact of the above, let us consider a small car loan for 3 years at 18% interest.
Step 1: Citizen borrows $5,000 and pays it into circulation (it goes to the dealer, factory, miner, etc.) and signs a note agreeing to pay the Banker $6,500.
Step 2: Citizen pays $180 per month of his earnings to the Banker.
In 3 years he will take out of circulation $1,500 more than he put in
circulation. Every loan of Banker, "Created" money (credit) causes
the same thing to happen.
Since this has happened millions of times since 1913 (and continues
today), you can see why America has gone from a prosperous, debt-
free nation to a debt-ridden nation where practically every home,
farm and business is paying usury-tribute to some Banker.
The usury-tribute to the Bankers on personal, local, State and
Federal debt totals more than the combined earnings of 25% of
the working people. Soon it will be 50% and continue up.
This is Why Bankers Prosper in Good Times or Bad
In the millions of transactions made each year like those above,
little actual currency changes hands, nor is it necessary that it do so.
95% of all, "Cash" transactions in the U.S. are by check, so the
Banker is perfectly safe in, "Creating" that so-called, "Loan" by
writing the check or deposit slip, not against actual money, but,
"AGAINST YOUR PROMISE TO PAY IT BACK!"
The cost to him is paper, ink and a few dollars in salaries and office costs for each transaction. The profits increase rapidly, year after year. The Cost To You? Eventually, Everything!
In 1910 the U.S. Federal debt was only $1 billion, or $12.40 per
citizen. State and local debts were practically non-existent.
By 1920, after only 6 years of Federal Reserve shenanigans, the Federal debt had jumped to $24 billion, or $228 per person.
In 1960 the Federal debt reached $284 billion, or $1,575 per
citizen and State and local debts were mushrooming.
By 1981 the Federal debt passed $1 trillion and was growing exponentially as the Bankers tripled the interest rates.
State and local debts are now more than the Federal, with business and personal debts totalling over $6 trillion, 3 times the value of all the land and buildings in America.
If we signed over to the money-lenders all of America we would still owe them 2 more Americas (plus their usury, of course!)
However, they are too cunning to take title to everything.
They will instead leave you with some, "Illusion of Ownership" so you and your children will continue to work and pay the Bankers more of your earnings in ever-increasing debts.
The, "Establishment" has captured our people with their ungodly
system of usury and debt as certainly as if they had marched in
with a uniformed army.
For The Gamblers Among My Readers
To grasp the truth that periodic withdrawal of money through interest payments will inexorably transfer all wealth in the nation to the receiver of interest, imagine yourself in a poker or dice game where everyone must buy the chips (the medium of exchange) from a, "Banker" who does not risk chips in the game, but watches the table and every hour reaches in and takes 10% to 15% of all the chips on the table.
As the game goes on, the amount of chips in the possession of each player will go up and down with their, "Luck." However, the total number of chips available to play the game (carry on trade and business) will decrease rapidly.
The game will get low on chips and some will run out. If they want to continue to play, they must buy or borrow them from the, "Banker."
The, "Banker" will sell (lend) them only if the player signs a,
"Mortgage" agreeing to give the, "Banker" some real property
(car, home, farm, business, etc.) if he cannot make periodic
payments to pay back all of the chips plus some extra ones
(interest). The payments must be made on time, whether he
wins (makes a profit) or not.
It is easy to see that no matter how skillfully they play, eventually
the, "Banker" will end up with all of his original chips back and
except for the very best players, the rest, if they stay in long
enough, will lose to the, "Banker" their homes, their farms, their
businesses, perhaps even their cars, watches, rings and the shirts
off their backs!
Our real-life situation is much worse than any poker game. In a
poker game none is forced to go into debt and anyone can quit
at any time and keep whatever he still has.
But in real life, even if we borrow little ourselves from the Bankers, the local, State and Federal, governments borrow billions in our name, squander it, then confiscate our earnings from us and pay it back to the Bankers with interest.
We are forced to play the game and none can leave except by death. We pay as long as we live and our children pay after we die.
If we cannot pay, the same government sends the police to take our property and give it to the Bankers. The Bankers risk nothing in the game; they just collect their percentage and, "Win it All."
In Las Vegas and at other gambling centers, all games are, "Rigged" to pay the owner a percentage and they rake in millions. The Federal Reserve Bankers, "Game" is also rigged, and it pays off in billions!
In recent years Bankers added real, "Cards" to their game. "Credit" cards are promoted as a convenience and a great boon to trade.
Actually, they are ingenious devices by which Bankers collect 2% to
5% of every retail sale from the seller and 18% interest from buyers.
A real, "Stacked" deck! (And you wondered why so many credit card applications are constantly sent to everybody? Well, you know now!)
Yes, It's Political, Too
Democrat, Republican and Independent, voters who have wondered why politicians always spend more tax money than they take in should now see the reason.
When they begin to study our, "Debt-Money" system, they soon
realize that these politicians are not the agents of the people
but are the agents of the Bankers, for whom they plan ways to
place the people further in debt.
It takes only a little imagination to see that if Congress had been, "Creating" and spending or issuing into circulation the necessary increase in the money supply, "THERE WOULD BE NO NATIONAL DEBT" and the over $4 Trillion of other debts would be practically non-existent.
Since there would be no original cost of money except printing, and no continuing costs such as interest, Federal taxes would be almost nil.
Money, once in circulation, would remain there and go on serving its purpose as a medium of exchange for generation after generation and century after century, just as coins do now, with no payments to the Bankers whatsoever!
Mounting Debts and Wars
But instead of peace and debt-free prosperity, we have ever-
mounting debt and periodic wars.
We as a people are now ruled by a system of Banker-owned Mammon that has usurped the mantle of government, disguised itself as our legitimate government and set about to pauperize and control our people.
It is now a centralized, all-powerful political apparatus whose main purposes are promoting war, spending the peoples' money and propagandizing to perpetuate itself in power.
Our two large political parties have become its servants, the various departments of government its spending agencies, and the Internal Revenue its collection agency.
Unknown to the people, it operates in close cooperation with
similar apparatuses in other nations, which are also disguised
as, "Governments." Some, we are told, are friends. Some, we
are told, are enemies.
"Enemies" are built up through international manipulations and used to frighten the American people into going billions of dollars more into debt to the Bankers for, "Military Preparedness" and, "Foreign aid to stop Communism" and, "Minority Rights," etc.
Citizens, deliberately confused by brainwashing propaganda, watch helplessly while our politicians give our food, goods and money to Banker-controlled alien governments under the guise of, "Better Relations" and, "Easing Tensions."
Our Banker-controlled government takes our finest and bravest
sons and daughters, sends them into foreign wars where tens of
thousands are murdered and hundreds of thousands are crippled.
Other thousands are morally corrupted, addicted to drugs and
infected with venereal and other diseases, which they bring
back to the United States.
When the, "War" is over, we have gained nothing, but we are
scores of billions of dollars more in debt to the Bankers,
which was the reason for the, "War" in the first place!
And There's Yet More...
The profits from these massive debts have been used to erect a
complete and almost hidden economic and political colossus over
our nation.
They keep telling us they are trying to do us, "Good" when in truth
they work to bring harm and injury to our people.
These would-be despots know it is easier to control and rob an ill,
poorly-educated and confused people than it is a healthy and
intelligent population, so they deliberately prevent real cures for
diseases, they degrade our educational systems and they stir up
social and racial unrest.
For the same reason they favor drug use, alcohol, sexual
promiscuity, abortion, pornography and crime.
Everything which debilitates the minds and bodies of the people is
secretly encouraged, as it makes the people less able to oppose
them or even to understand what is being done to them.
Family, morals, love of Country, the Christian religion, all that is
honorable is being swept away, while they try to build their new,
subservient man.
Our new, "Rulers" are trying to change our whole social, religious and political order, but they will not change the debt-money economic system by which they rob and rule.
Our people have become tenants and, "Debt-Slaves" to the Bankers and their agents in the land our fathers created. It is conquest through the most gigantic fraud and swindle in the history of mankind.
And we remind you again: The key to their wealth and power over us is their ability to create, "Money" out of nothing and lend it to us at interest. If they had not been allowed to do that, they would never have gained secret control of our nation.
How true Solomon's words are: "The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender" (Proverbs 22:7).
God Almighty, warned in the Bible that one of the curses which would come upon His People, for disobeying His Laws, was:
"The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low. He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him; he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail." [Deut. 28: 44-45].
Has that warning come to fruition in America?
Let us now consider the correct method of providing the medium of exchange (money) needed by our people.
The Constitutional Way Every Citizen A Stockholder
If we had used the Constitutional way of, "Creating" the money needed in the nation, the Federal Congress would spend most of its time and study on the issuance and control of an adequate supply of stable money for the people.
If an increase of population and production required an increase in the medium of exchange, Congress would authorize the, "Coining," (i.e., printing) of the determined amount. Some could be used to pay current legitimate expenses of the Federal Government, with the balance paid directly to the citizens.
Records for payment would be similar to Social Security records,
except a citizen would be recorded at birth, instead of when he
first goes to work. Each person on the records as of the date of
the Congressional authorization would receive an equal amount just
as if he or she, were a stockholder holding one share.
Just think, a payment of only $20 to each citizen would put $4
billion of debt-free and interest-free money into circulation.
Such a suggestion always scares the Bankers. Their propagandists will immediately cry, "Printing Press Money" and warn that it would soon be, "Worthless" and would, "Cause Inflation."
The truth is, their immense usury charges on their, "Created" credit (our debt) is the sole cause of inflation. All prices on all industry, trade and labor, must be raised periodically to pay the ever increasing usury charges.
That is the only cause of higher prices and the money-changers spend millions in propaganda to keep you from realizing that.
The money-creators (Bankers) know that if we ever tried a Constitutional issue of debt-free, interest-free currency, even a limited issue, the benefits would be apparent immediately. That they must prevent.
Abraham Lincoln was the last President to issue such debt-free and interest-free currency (in 1863) and he was assassinated shortly thereafter. Kennedy was known to be contemplating doing the same thing about the time that he was killed.
No Banker's Plunder
Under a Constitutional system no private banks would exist to rob the people.
Government banks under the control of the people's representatives would issue and control all money and credit. They would issue not only actual currency, but could lend limited credit at no interest for the purchase of capital goods, such as homes.
A $60,000 loan would require only $60.000 repayment, not $255,931 as it is now.
Everyone who supplied materials and labor for the home would get paid just as they do today, but the Bankers would not get $195,931 in usury, and that is why they ridicule and destroy anyone suggesting Government (Citizens') Money without Interest and without Debt.
History tells us of debt-free and interest-free money issued by governments. The American colonies did it in the 1700's and their wealth soon rivalled England and brought restrictions from Parliament, which led to the Revolutionary War.
Abraham Lincoln did it in 1863 to help finance the Civil War. He was later assassinated by an agent of the Rothschild Bank. No debt-free or interest-free money has been issued in America since then.
Several Arab nations issue interest-free loans to their citizens today. The Saracen Empire forbad interest on money for 1,000 years, and its wealth outshone even Saxon Europe.
Mandarin China issued its own money, interest-free and debt-free
and historians and collectors of art today consider those centuries
to be China's time of greatest wealth, culture and peace.
Germany issued debt-free and interest-free money from 1935 and on, accounting for its startling rise from the depression to a world power in 5 years.
Germany financed its entire government and war operation from 1935 to 1945 without gold and without debt, and it took the whole Capitalist and Communist world to destroy the German power over Europe and bring Europe back under the heel of the Bankers.
Such history of money does not even appear in the textbooks of public (government) schools today.
Issuing money which doesn't have to be paid back in interest leaves the money available to use in the exchange of goods and services and its only continuing cost is replacement as the paper wears out.
Money is the paper ticket by which such transfers are made and should always be in sufficient quantity to transfer all possible production of the nation to ultimate consumers.
Why You Haven't Known
We realize this article on the mechanics of money may be charged with over-simplification.
Some readers may say that if it is this simple the people would have known about it and it could not have happened.
But this, "MONEY-LENDERS," "consPIRACY" is as old as Babylon, and even in America it dates far back before the year 1913.
Actually, 1913 may be considered the year in which their previous plans came to fruition and the way opened for complete economic conquest of the people.
The, "consPIRACY" is old enough in America so that its agents have
been, for many years, in positions such as newspaper publishers,
editors, columnists, church ministers, university presidents,
professors, textbook writers, labor union leaders, movie makers,
radio and TV commentators, politicians, school board members,
U.S. presidents, and many others.
Controlled News and Information
These agents control the information available to our people. They manipulate public opinion, elect whom they will locally and nationally, and never expose the crooked money system.
They promote school bonds, municipal bonds, expensive and
detrimental farm programs, "Urban Renewal," foreign aid and
many other schemes which will put the people more into debt
to the Bankers.
Thoughtful citizens wonder why billions are spent on one program and billions on another which may duplicate it or even nullify it, such as paying some farmers not to raise crops, while at the same time building dams or canals to irrigate more farm land.
Crazy or stupid? Neither. The goal is more debt. Thousands of government-sponsored ways to waste money go on continually.
Most make no sense, but they are never exposed for what they really are, builders of, "Billions for the Bankers and Debts for the People."
So-called, "Economic Experts" write syndicated columns in hundreds of newspapers, craftily designed to prevent the people from learning the simple truth about our money system.
Commentators on radio and TV, preachers, educators and politicians, blame the people as wasteful, lazy or spend-thrift and blame the workers and consumers for the increase in debts and the inflation of prices, when they know the cause is the debt-money system itself.
People are overwhelmed with charges and counter-charges designed to confuse them and keep them from understanding the unconstitutional and evil money-system that is so efficiently and silently robbing the farmers, the workers and the businessmen, of the fruits of their labors and of their freedoms.
When some few patriotic people or organizations who know the truth begin to expose them or try to stop any of their greedy schemes, the exposers are ridiculed and vilified.
Any calumny is used which will cause them to shut up or will at least stop other people from listening to the warning they are giving. Books and articles such as you are now reading are kept out of schools, libraries, and book stores.
Some, who are especially vocal in their exposure of the treason against ordinary people, are harassed by government agencies such as the EPA, OSHA, the IRS and others, causing them financial loss or bankruptcy.
Using these methods, they have been completely successful in
preventing most Americans from learning the things you have
read in this document.
However, in spite of their control of information, they realize
many citizens are learning the truth.
Therefore, to prevent violence or armed resistance to their plunder of America, they plan to register all firearms and eventually to disarm all citizens. They have to eliminate most guns, except those in the hands of their government police and army.
Tell The People
The "almost hidden" conspirators in politics, religion, education, entertainment and the news media are working for a Banker-owned United States in a Banker-owned World under a Banker-owned World Government!
Love of Country and concern for your children should make you deeply interested in this, America's greatest problem, for our generation has not suffered under the, "Yoke" as the coming generations will.
Usury and taxes will continue to take a larger and larger part of the annual earnings of the people and put them into the pockets of the Bankers and their political Agents.
Increasing, "Government" regulations will prevent citizen protest
and opposition to their control.
It is possible that your grandchildren will own neither home nor car, but will live in, "Government-Owned" apartments and ride to work in, "Governent-Owned" buses (both paying usury to the Bankers), and be allowed to keep just enough of their earnings to buy a minimm of food and clothing, while their Rulers wallow in luxury.
In Asia and eastern Europe this is called, "Communism;" in America it is called, "Democracy" and, "Capitalism."
America will not shake off her Banker-controlled dictatorship as long as the people are ignorant of the hidden controllers.
International financiers, who control most of the governments of
the nations and most sources of information, seem to have us
completely sewn up.
They are afraid of only one thing: an awakened enlightened
Citizenry, armed with the truth and with a trust in Almighty
God, for deliverance.
This discourse has given you the truth about their iniquitous system.
What you do with it is in your hands, and in the hands of Divine Providence.
"The fear of man bringeth a snare; but whoso putteth his trust in
the Lord shall be safe." (Proverbs 29: 25).
