Nobody

Nobody.
There is no revolution on the horizon, there is no party, there is
no grand idea that will finally awaken humanity to its potential
and free us from our chains.
There is no vanguard, no purpose, no secret method we can use
to magically make the powerful resign themselves to the fate of
ordinary existence.
There have been pretenders.
There are priests, and pimps, and false gods,
that call on you to worship them.
They will give you immortal, “sciences” and identities,
they will assure you if enough people just donned the
uniform or spoke the right words everything would be
okay.
There are those of course who would deny you even that,
who refuse any action without every detail planned out.
Who will run the schools, who will build the roads, how
will blockades and tire fires impact our carbon footprint?
They will call your plans starry-eyed, impractical,
an Insurrecionist fantasy.
They say this half-asleep.
They, so wise, say they will “wait for the people to rise.”
The people have risen and been crushed.
Occupy failed, Standing Rock failed.
All that’s left is you and me.
Everybody is waiting and nobody wants to start,
everybody wants to join and nobody wants to build.
Everybody is waiting for a grand and general revolt, yet steal
an apple or burn a cop car and they’ll call you an “adventurist.”
Everybody is sure change is right around the corner,
that divine powers will steer us the right way.
Everybody is sure time is on our side, that the good ones will
always win and that things can’t hold out much longer.
Everybody says a revolution is possible with no bloodshed
and no hard feelings, that everyone will be heard and cared
for.
Everybody is waiting.
Waiting for something.
Waiting for somebody, somebody to save them.
They aren’t coming to save you, Comrade.
Nobody is.

Idiocracy
Idiocracy
By Paul Edwards

May 29, 2019
Science strives for predictability, questing for certainty it doubts
exists.
The frontiers of physical research probe realms of paradox
currently far beyond human reason.
Seismologists and volcanologists study temblors and eruptions avidly
but can’t forecast events in real time.
There is no science to predict devastating earthquakes in societies,
though the symptoms that produce them are established and in
America, beyond dispute.
A general outline would include the fact that a few men own half
our wealth and a majority have nothing; that U.S. economic
hegemony is based on killing people and the biosphere by weapons
and debt; that our political system, the toy of financial criminals,
is inaccessible to citizens.
This butcher’s list of engineered malignity should have crashed a
polity so viciously corrupted but, since it hasn’t, the explanation
must be in the nature of its victims.
The appalling capability of Americans to live simultaneously as
abject slaves and complicit criminals in our putrefying Empire
is baldly clear in three stunning recent examples.
The Empire has, by queer contortions, bullied its way into possible
war with North Korea, Iran, and Venezuela at the same time.
This idiocy is supported by Americans--as are ongoing murderous
fund-raisers for the War Machine in Yemen, Syria, and Ukraine--
despite their being on different continents, hemispheres and
thousands of miles apart.
The Alabama government has decided in its Snopesian coma, to
elevate embryos to the status of person hood while canceling that
of women.
This indicates either the general imbecility of a populace steeped
in hillbilly, Elmer Gantry hysteric cultery, or worshiping the
dictatorship of a confederacy of misogynistic, patristic dunces.
Or both...
The MSM, while stonewalling the malevolent, Constitution
shattering attack on a free press by U.S. lust to extradite
and entomb Julian Assange for publishing truth about our
rogue assassin state, has ballyhooed a ludicrous, a historic
t.v. junk fable as high art, demonstrating how vacuous and
addicted to bonehead trash Americans have become.
Separately or together, these burlesques of policy show the
moral torpidity and pathetic inanimacy of a public that has
been relentlessly lied to, cozened, infantilized, made stupid,
and shorn of pride in itself by a Capitalist System that
savages them with the same contempt it does all life.
They’ve internalized it and now act as their own abusers.
The naive cry out for answers to our absurd paralysis,
but there are none.
Cassius said the fault is not in our stars but in ourselves
that we are underlings.
History is a tale of failed societies that lacked the will
to save themselves, so our impotence is not unique.
Perhaps then, given the vast catalogue of our self-inflicted
disasters, the question is not how we can be saved but whether
we should be.

The Sun Dance
The Sun Dance
By Mark Kodama
Dissident Voice
May 23, 2019
It was the summer of 1876.
The great white father was demanding that we sell our land to
them – land that was not ours to sell – and then move to the
reservation – where only hardships and starvation awaited us.
The buffalo was dying fast as white hunters shot them on the plain,
taking only their skins and leaving their carcasses to rot on the
plains.
The prophet Sitting Bull called for us to resist.
He called for us to meet in council.
He called for a sun dance.
There they would offer themselves to the creator.
There the creator through the buffalo would provide
answers to them.
Plains Indians – the Sioux, the Cheyenne and the Arapaho —
answered Sitting Bull’s call in great number joining his Hunkpapa
Lakota at his camp near the Wolf Mountains.
A large forked cotton wood center pole was raised by ropes and its
base slid into a hole – the center of the sacred lodge and the center
of the universe.
The world was out of balance.
The creator would tell them how to restore it.
Twelve cotton wood poles were raised in a circle around the center
pole, representing the twelve months of the year.
The dancers entered the sweat lodge, made of willow branches
and buffalo robes.
Water was poured over rocks heated by fire.
Afterward, the sun dancers entered the sacred lodge.
The chief and host prayed to the great creator.
They stuffed the nostrils of the buffalo that hung high on the center
pole with sweet sage.
The sun dancers with painted faces and adorned with feathers
danced back and forth to the center pole, blowing their whistles
made from the wing bones of an eagle.
Each dancer held an eagle plumb in each hand.
Drummers drummed and singers sang the four sacred songs,
each four times.
First they faced to the east and then to the west.
They rested then danced again.
Juniper wreaths crowned their heads.
Some dancers – wore necklaces of elk teeth – as they looked
at the sun – the source of all life and energy on earth.
Sitting Bull’s face was covered with yellow paint.
The dancer — hungry and thirsty – fasted.
Sitting Bull gave 100 pieces of flesh from his arms,
dripping with blood.
They were seeking visions sent by the creator.
“Grandfather,” Sitting Bull said “I offer the only thing that
belongs to me – my body.”
Time seemed to slow down.
Sitting Bull could hear each individual drum beat and shriek
of the eagle born whistles.
The voices of the singers sounded faraway.
He could smell the sweet smell of grass that carpeted
the sacred lodge.
The light of the sun flashed as the lodge began to spin.
The buffalo head began to speak to him in mumbled tones
he could not yet understand.
Sitting Bull knew hiss vision was coming.
The host covered him in cattails and sweet sage.
The prophet could see hundreds of white soldiers, a thick
as locusts, riding their horses upside down into the village.
Suddenly they began to fall dead from the sky.
The warriors would win a great victory over the soldiers.
“Do not to take the spoils of the bodies or touch the bodies”
the buffalo warned, “or your people and their children will
forever suffer for this. Leave them where they lay.”
On the third day the dancers were given water.
The ordeal is over.
The camp soon moved to the Greasy Grass River.
The Greasy Grass River was also known as the Little Big Horn.
Gen. George Armstrong Custer and the Seventh Calvary were
on their way.

Manifesto of Survival
Manifesto of Survival
By Anna Tolstoyevskaya
Information Clearing House
Monday, May 20, 2019
We have come such a long way since time immemorial, since we
were hunters and gatherers living in caves and bundled in hides,
trying to invent fire.
Now we have TV and iPhone, we drive cars and fly planes.
We can talk to and see each other from the opposite sides
of the world.
Our civilization has reached amazing heights of scientific and
technical development, but we still have not learnt to see a
human being in each other.
And a friend.
We are still throwing sticks and stones at one another,
except they have become so much bigger and heavier.
Too heavy even for our planet.
And now we are facing the question of whether anyone will be
around tomorrow to greet the sunrise.
Yet, we still have a chance to save our mother planet from and
for ourselves and continue meeting sunsets and sunrises with her.
And with our friend, in humanity and in spirit.
Who is he, or her, this friend?
Why do we like or hate him?
How can we understand and forgive him?
Learn to see yourself in her.
And your own reflection.
After all, we all learn from each other.
How can we learn to love truth and peace, and do no harm
to each other, and respect others in ourselves?
Our time in this Universe is not unlimited, and we still have
so much to discover.
To help our planet heal from the wounds caused by us and time.
To protect and save our disappearing siblings, sharing with
us this magnificent ecosphere.
To slow down, or at least not exacerbate with emissions and
pollution, the ominous warming of our shared environment.
It is truly, in the prophetic words of Chris Hedges, “The Last
Battle.”
As for the modern sticks and stones, they will be of no use to us.
About the only thing we can do to save ourselves from them
now is remove all the fast fingers from the proverbial button.
All nuclear sticks with short fuses on hair trigger alert have long
outlived their senselessness.
Launch on warning will save no one, but destroy us all.
We’ve had a number of close calls already.
Lieutenant Colonel Stanislav Yevgrafovich Petrov was one such
“man who saved the world” on the night of September 26, 1983.
There were others.
Next time, we may not be so lucky.
We are playing the Russian roulette as a race, and in the barrel
of cosmic odds all it takes is one evil nuclear bullet.
We must at least take the finger off the trigger, so we don’t do
the irreparable by accident.
We must heed the call of the courageous Daniel Ellsberg the
author of terrifying but largely overlooked The Doomsday Machine
and a nuclear war planner in the early part of his career.
And Global Zero, ICAN (winner of the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize),
and the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists with its Doomsday Clock,
moving ever closer to midnight, who have all been working for
years to bring this about, to give us all our mind and survival
back.
Our common most-pressing universal task is to help them bring
it about.
Every action in this direction counts.
As Nikola Tesla, whose genius brought us so many of the comforts
of our civilization, put it, “The action of even the tiniest creature
leads to changes in the entire Universe.”
We don’t have much time left to make it happen in our lifetime,
and not pass this problem to our children, if they should have a
future at all.
It’s high time to end all wars.
We certainly have no business in Iran or Venezuela after Iraq
and Libya.
Israel, first and foremost, needs to understand that you can’t
build your own happiness on other people’s grief and graves.
Even if you have suffered much in your own life.
The law of karma doesn’t change because of it.
There will still be heavy consequences, and you still have to
pay what you owe, and reap what you sow, even if you conceal
it really well.
Sooner or later, if not for us, for our children.
That was to a large extent the meaning of the Shoah last
tragic century.
Truth is one and the same for everyone.
To love and trust is always better than to fear and hate.
Let us all love one another.
You never know if you are saying goodbye for the last time.
Nobody wants to be ill remembered.
Let’s stop giving our attention to all the gossips, scandals
and squabbles that are broadcast at us from every screen.
They might be profitable for someone for some time,
but definitely not for us.
We need to work and take care of each other, our young and our
old and not get plunged as a whole society into massive karmic
debt that no one will be able to repay.
We need to learn to listen and understand what we are being
told and why.
No need to hypnotize us.
It won’t work anyway when we are all awake and withdraw
our consent.
There are many spiritual and conscious streams flowing through us.
As Rudolph Steiner used to say, we can and should learn
to recognize and tell them apart.
The success and happiness of our own life depend on it.
And we need to pay attention to these streams and
not to the venal voices of the mass media.
Let them show their true selves for what it’s worth,
but don’t be swayed by them.
“The traits we see most clearly in others exist most strongly
in ourselves,” according to the ancient wisdom of Vedanta
expressed in the words of Deepak Chopra.
We have no use for the representatives and leaders who think
only of themselves.
Lots of money and power doesn’t make you either good or happy.
They can spew their silliness, court intrigues and lies to themselves
for now.
When big money is removed from politics through the grassroots
efforts of organizations such as RepresentUs, others, like Ilhan
Omar and Bernie Sanders, whom we can trust and respect, will
come to replace them.
And no one will be able to manipulate and scare us any longer.
“When human beings today speak of ‘God’ they mean only
their angel, the angel who guides them through life,” taught
Rudolf Steiner in The Karma of Untruthfulness, a series of
lectures on the origins of WWI. “But they persuade themselves
that they are speaking of a being higher…”
At long last, we’ll recognize in Yahweh but one of our jealous tribal
angelic reflections from the time of sticks and swords, as explained
masterfully in Laurent Guyénot’s From Yahweh to Zion.
And we’ll finally find Christ in each and every one of us.
A true son and daughter of our true god, infinitely beautiful
universal consciousness in all its manifestations on earth and
in heaven.
Let there always be the Sun!

Nobody Knows It But Me
Nobody Knows It But Me
By Babyface
May 14, 2019
Wish I told her how I feel
Maybe she'd be here right now
But instead
I pretend that I'm glad you went away
These four walls close in more everyday
And I'm dying inside
And nobody knows it but me
Like a clown I put on a show
The pain is real even if nobody knows
Now I'm crying inside
And nobody knows it but me
Why didn't I say the things I needed to say
How could I let my angel get away
Now my world
Is just tumbling down
I can say it so clearly
But you're nowhere around
The nights are lonely
The days are so sad
And I just keep thinking about
The love that we had
And I'm missing you
And nobody knows it but me
I carry a smile when I'm broken in two
Now I'm nobody without someone like you
I'm trembling inside
And nobody knows it but me
I lie awake
It's a quarter past three
I'm screaming at night
As if I thought you'd hear me
Yeah my heart is calling you
And nobody knows it but me
How blue can I get
You could ask my heart
But like a jigsaw puzzle
Its been torn all apart
A million words couldn't say
Just how I feel
A million years from now
You know I'll be loving you still
The nights are lonely
The days are so sad
And I just keep thinking about
The love that we had
And I'm missing you
And nobody knows it but me
Tomorrow morning
I'll hit the dusty road
Gonna find you wherever
Ever you might go
And I'm gonna unload my heart
And hope you come back to me
Said when the nights are lonely
The nights are lonely
The days are so sad
And I just keep thinking about
The love that we had
And I'm missing you
And nobody knows it but me
The nights are so lonely
Since you've been gone away
The days are so sad
And I've been missing you baby
And I just keep thinking about
The love that we had
I always thought
You would be right by my side
And I'm missing you
And nobody knows it but me
Nobody knows it no
Nobody but me
The nights are lonely
The days are so sad
And I just keep thinking about
The love that we had
And I'm missing you
And nobody knows it but me

Like a clown I put on a show
The pain is real even if nobody knows
Now I'm crying inside
And nobody knows it but me
Why didn't I say the things I needed to say
How could I let my angel get away
Now my world
Is just tumbling down
I can say it so clearly
But you're nowhere around
The nights are lonely
The days are so sad
And I just keep thinking about
The love that we had
And I'm missing you
And nobody knows it but me
I carry a smile when I'm broken in two
Now I'm nobody without someone like you
I'm trembling inside
And nobody knows it but me
I lie awake
It's a quarter past three
I'm screaming at night
As if I thought you'd hear me
Yeah my heart is calling you
And nobody knows it but me
How blue can I get
You could ask my heart
But like a jigsaw puzzle
Its been torn all apart
A million words couldn't say
Just how I feel
A million years from now
You know I'll be loving you still
The nights are lonely
The days are so sad
And I just keep thinking about
The love that we had
And I'm missing you
And nobody knows it but me
Tomorrow morning
I'll hit the dusty road
Gonna find you wherever
Ever you might go
And I'm gonna unload my heart
And hope you come back to me
Said when the nights are lonely
The nights are lonely
The days are so sad
And I just keep thinking about
The love that we had
And I'm missing you
And nobody knows it but me
The nights are so lonely
Since you've been gone away
The days are so sad
And I've been missing you baby
And I just keep thinking about
The love that we had
I always thought
You would be right by my side
And I'm missing you
And nobody knows it but me
Nobody knows it no
Nobody but me
The nights are lonely
The days are so sad
And I just keep thinking about
The love that we had
And I'm missing you
And nobody knows it but me

Heavenly
Heavenly
By Seal
May 9, 2019
Northern son
We're walking down that same avenue
Throw me a lifeline
Won't you please
I'm watching the news
But I'm not at ease
Throw me a lifeline
Won't you please
Come to the place where I used to play
And put on your peace wires for a day
Look at the radios in the sun
Can you let it pass you by
Heavenly
Can't you see
Feels like yesterday's here now
Heavenly
Trust in me
Feels like yesterday now
I look at the world and it's heavenly
I see a miracle place to be
Why is it anyone has to die
Did they ever ask you why
When will you talk about being free
Pain isn't all that it's meant to be
Hanging another one out to dry
Is there any reason why
Heavenly
Can't you see
Feels like yesterday's here now
Heavenly
Trust in me
Feels like yesterday now
Warring feeling
Feel like waking up again
Warring feeling
Feel like waking up again
Northern son
We're walking down that same avenue
I look at the world and it's heavenly
All of the things that it's meant to be
Some of the suffering all divine
Hearing Mother Nature cry
Loving the river more
I'm a survivor
Loving the river more
I like staying alive
Why don't you show me a little more
Hearing your mother call
Anyone can feel
Heavenly
Can't you see
Cause it feels like yesterday's here now
Heavenly
Trust in me
Feels like yesterday now
Heavenly...

Love's Divine
Love's Divine
By Seal
May 6, 2019
Then the rainstorm came over me
And I felt my spirit break
I had lost all of my belief you see
And realized my mistake
But time threw a prayer to me
And all around me became still
I need love
Love's divine
Please forgive me now
I see that I've been blind
Give me love
Love is what I need to help me know my name
Through the rainstorm came sanctuary
And I felt my spirit fly
I had found all of my reality
I realize what it takes
Cause I need love
Love's divine
Please forgive me
Now I see that I've been blind
Give me love
Love is what I need to help me know my name
Oh I don't bend (don't bend)
Don't break (don't break)
Show me how to live
And promise me you won't forsake
Cause love can help me know my name
Well I try to say there's nothing wrong
But inside I felt me lying all along
But the message here was plain to see
Believe me
Cause I need love
Love's divine
Please forgive me
Now I see that I've been blind
Give me love
Love is what I need to help me know my name
Oh I don't bend (don't bend)
Don't break (don't break)
Show me how to live
And promise me you won't forsake
