Demons Run

Demons Run

By Steven Moffat
May 31, 2017

Demons run when a good man goes to war
Night will fall and drown the sun
When a good man goes to war

Friendship dies and true love lies
Night will fall and the dark will rise
When a good man goes to war

Demons run, but count the cost
The battle’s won, but the child is lost

Uncommon Valour

Uncommon Valour

By Got Guanxi
May 29, 2017

Soldier of fortune making moves on the battlefield,
Chess checking chances,
Suntzu advances,
As the sun moves and dances.

Creeping in trenches, sleeping in shifts,
Bullets fly overhead as you hope that they'll miss,
Butterflies in the rose fields,
Butchered guys in the poppy fields.

Broken dreams, decimated teams,
Regiments unravelled at the seems,
Unrivalled scenes that you could never believe,
Superhuman movements and medals achieved.

Let go and breath,
Silently amongst violence and tryrants.

No man planned, for no man's land,
The best laid plans lead to mass graves,
Massacres last for days,
It's hard to understand.

Tactics underhand, gas masks steal identies,
You must move fast to counteract the effects of,
Mustard gas and hidden identities,
Popup cemetries, innovative remedies.

Death strikes at any moment,
Yet it's hard to keep focus,
Don't lose your mind,
Mistakes of mankind, repeated in time.

Baby faced freshmen, turn to hard face veterans,
In the spaces of seconds,
Replaced in moments with conscripted kids,
Deplaced from happy homes.

Men never found and no chance to atone,
Warmongers amongst them that soon change there tones,
Railway children leave villages in rubble,
Cornered and in trouble as the bodycount doubles.

Dark nights spent in candlelight,
Children sleep in there bed,
As bombers glide overhead,
The bleek reality goes over their heads.

The blitz is a travesty that decimates architecture,
And leaves structures in travesty,
Calamities in the evening and in the morning,
A start clarity of the destructive reality.

Hindsight in bombsites, mortuaries from mortar shells,
Instructions to give them hell,
You believe them less as each days passes,
Bodies piled up in masses, teardrops without caskets.

Only dog tags identify the men in the body bags,
Men treated worse than dogs,
The living skip over the corpses of fallen comrades.

Peace will not come fast,
Hard to run fast with rations and rucksacks,
Bullets start to wizz past,
As they proceed to fulfill dumb tasks.

Whiskey in hip flasks,
Trying to shoot back,
Wishing you just get a lift back,
Home to the motherland.

Fighting in foreign lands,
Your mother holds her head in her wrinkled hands,
Her husband holds her close,
He's been there before you.

Fought in the great war too,
And lived through to tell the tale,
And ironically see history repeating itself,
A picture of their son sits on the shelf,
He lies wounded in battle, needing there help.

Oh well,
Give them hell,
It's just one of many stories to tell.

To The Warmongers

To The Warmongers

By Siegfried Sassoon
May 27, 2017

I’m back again from hell
With loathsome thoughts to sell;
Secrets of death to tell;
And horrors from the abyss.

Young faces bleared with blood,
Sucked down into the mud,
You shall hear things like this,
Till the tormented slain.

Crawl round and once again,
With limbs that twist awry,
Moan out their brutish pain,
As for the fighters pass them by.

For you our battles shine
With triumph half-divine;
And the glory of the dead,
Kindles in each proud eye.

But a curse is on my head,
That shall not be unsaid,
And the wounds in my heart are red,
For I have watched them die.

The Chicken Hawk

The Chicken Hawk

By CitrineSunrise
All Poetry
May 24, 2017

I wanted to be a mechanic.

I wanted to learn a trade.

Yet here I am in this desert hell,
Fighting wars politicians made.

We're moved like puzzle pieces,
More than half a world away.

We fight, we bleed, our psyches scarred,
Today, and every day.

Not only have they never fought,
Their children have been spared.

It's left to us, the young and poor,
To go where they've not dared.

It's easy to be a commander,
When you've never come to harm.

It's easy to make decisions,
With your loved ones safe and warm.

If I could have one wish,
It would not be for wealth.

I'd pray that no one could wage a war,
Unless he had served himself.

The Golan Hillbillies

The Golan Hillbillies

By Jeff Prager
May 22, 2017

Come and listen to my story ‘bout a man named Jacob,
A rich racketeer always kept his mistresses naked.

And then one day he was hangin’ with the Jews,
And up through the ground come a bubblin crude.

Oil that is, black gold, Texas tea, on the Golan Heights man.

Well we already know old Jake's a billionaire,
With kinfolk stretched across the planet everywhere.

Except not a relative lived in Tel Aviv,
Loaded up the limo and moved in with the Israeli’s.

On the Heights, that is,
Oil pools, movie deals, war!

Well, now it’s time to say goodbye to Jake and all his kin,
Dick, Rupert, and Effie, thank you all for kindly droppin in.

You’re all invited back next week to this same area,
To have an illegal heapin’ helpin’ of our bombs in Syria.

Golan Hillbillies, that is.

Set a spell, take yer shoes off,
Y’all come back now, y’hear?

The Coming Civil War In America

The Coming Civil War In America

By Dr. Michael Hill
League Of The South
May 18, 2017

With each passing day, we move closer to open conflict in America
– civil war, if you will–between the forces of Western Civilization
(which is founded on a biblical understanding of nationalism) and
the forces of Judeo-Marxism or godless international leftism in
general.

Both major US political parties are being pulled in one of these
directions or the other.

As soon as Trump took office back in January (if not before), the
left made it clear that it would not accept the practical outcome
of the November 2016 election.

For the past few months, they have done everything they can to
prevent the new administration from governing and from enacting
the platform on which it was elected.

This resistance goes as far as openly disobeying the law (see
“Sanctuary Cities”) and carrying out street violence against
Trump supporters (see Antifa and Black Lives Matter).

The elite, Jew-dominated media have run interference for the
left by pushing the anti-nationalist, progressive Narrative non
stop.

The tension has been ratcheted so high that something simply
has to give.

And it will.

All it will take is one incident in which a supporter of one side or
the other is killed in a public venue and the episode distributed
widely on social media.

If things keep moving as they are now, such a tragic event is not
merely possible but likely.

Then the conflagration begins in earnest.

I have long been convinced that the US was headed for a real civil
war (that conflict from 1861-65 was not a “civil war” but a war
between two sovereign nations) and that the left would precipitate
it by their intolerance of any rule but their own.

Their leftist ideology simply will not allow them to compromise
for the sake of establishing a stable society in which differences
are worked out peacefully by well and long-established means.

For the left, the so-called virtues of tolerance and diversity
are ploys to be used against gullible conservatives.

The left itself has no truck with either.

They are interested only in establishing an ideological state that
is at it's base anti-white and anti-Christian.

It is high time “conservatives” wake up to the game that has been
worked so successfully against them for the last half century.

When someone like Trump, who ostensibly represents the interests
of the normal white middle and working classes who elected him,
stands in the way of the leftist work of progressing toward the
establishment of their ideological state, leftists behave as they are
at present–with violence and obstruction.

The U.S. has ceased to be a governable polity in 2017.

It must split into at least two (and preferably more) separate,
sovereign political entities to accommodate the two fundamental
sides or it must be plagued with hostilities that ultimately will
lead to open conflict and bloodshed on a scale unimaginable since
World War Two in a civilized part of the world.

Comey & Crooked Hillary

Comey & Crooked Hillary

By Deb Della Piana
May 10, 2017

Trust me. I don't think much of James Comey.

In fact, I can't think of one head of the FBI that I've respected.

I believe they are puppets just like our elected $hills.

That being said, I stand by one thing to this day:

James Comey had nothing to do with Hillary Clinton's loss.

I say that confidently because not one person in America even
"gets" that what she did with her server actually DID violate the
Espionage Act.

You do not need to have criminal intent.

All you need to do is what she did.

Remove classified documents from their secure surroundings.

Period.

End of story.

Nobody cared.

For me, it was a very important factor, but for most people it's
over their heads.

Hillary Clinton is the reason Hillary Clinton lost.

She lost because she telegraphs that she doesn't give a shit about
the vast majority of Americans.

She does not travel in their circles, and she doesn't care to
understand their needs.

She sure didn't visit any of those areas of the country in all the
time she was out there running for the highest office in the land.

And she surrounded herself with people just like her: Corrupt.

From Debbie Wasserman Schultz, to Donna Brazile, to David Brock,
to George Soros.

They say you are judged by the company you keep.

People who aren't in a position of having to figure out just how to
get enough to "get by" probably don't give two shits about that paragraph above.

But I believe those who are in that position actually DO give a shit.

In short, I'm on board with blaming Mr. Comey for many things, one
of which is dropping the investigation into Hillary Clinton and the
Clinton Foundation.

But please, let us not blame James Comey for Clinton's 2016 loss.

Is Trump Really President?

Is Trump Really President?

Is Trump being allowed to “Play at President” for public
consumption, while the generals, spooks, and financial
pirates run the show?

By Jack Rasmus
Information Clearing House
Friday, May 5, 2017

These are strange times in U.S. politics.

And stranger still is the emerging character of the
Trump presidency.

Events are appearing with growing frequency, raising the question
who is really running the White House and the U.S. government?

Is Trump really the president?

Trump sits there on the second floor, spending late evenings
into early mornings tweeting to the world.

In itself, that’s politically weird.

But even more strange is what he’s tweeting and the next day
fallout.

We hear about the aircraft carrier task force in Asia that was
reportedly steaming at full speed to the North Korean coast a
few weeks ago, only to learn soon after it was actually headed
in the opposite direction to Australia.

Did Donald imagine that?

Was the U.S. Navy informed or requested by its titular commander
in chief to turn around and go north … and then didn’t?

Was Trump’s command to go north perhaps countermanded by
some head of Naval operations, or maybe someone else in the
White House or government?

Or did he just imagine it all and never even informed the Navy
to head to Korea?

All the possibilities are strange.

Very strange.

And then there was the announcement by Trump that his big
budget was going to be announced in a few days.

It wasn’t even prepared.

Government bureaucrats had to quickly slap something together
in a couple of pages to provide to the press.

Trump did it again, tweeted announcing his big tax cuts.

Again the bureaucrats were caught off guard and had to throw
some general outline together and issue it to the press.

All this happened after it was generally known that the tax cut
proposals were not going to be developed until late summer,
and that the Obamacare Repeal bill had to go forward first.

The Obamacare repeal was a necessary prerequisite for the
general tax cut.

Its $592 billion in tax cuts for business and investors had to
come first.

Until it was resolved, it made no sense to publicize elements of the
yet bigger tax cuts of trillions of dollars more scheduled to follow.

But Trump tweeted it anyway, and the bureaucracy jumped,
putting something down on paper.

Who’s communicating what to whom?

Is Donald just lobbing electronic policy missiles out of the second
floor of the White House, hoping some bureaucrat will catch them
before morning?

Or perhaps Trump is being allowed to sit up there on the second
floor of the White House and do his tweet thing, while others
actually run the government.

By others, perhaps it is vice-president Pence in charge, working
with some inside committee of key cabinet officers and the
intelligence spooks in the NSA-CIA-FBI?

Is Trump being allowed to, “Play at President” for public
consumption, while the generals, spooks, and Goldman Sachs
financial pirates run the show?

It’s hard to believe that the members of his administration and
the government State bureaucracy knew in advance of Trump’s
recent tweets welcoming Philippines President Duterte to the
White House.

Or that Trump would tweet recently that he’s willing to meet with
North Korea’s president, for whom he, Trump, had great respect.

You can imagine the political constipation that comment caused the
spooks and the generals in charge of State, Defense, and National
Security.

Nov. 30, 2016, this writer wrote a piece predicting that Trump the
right wing populist would be successfully ‘tamed’ by the political
elites of this country that really run the show.

I laid out some ideas how that would be accomplished,
but I didn’t think it would happen so fast and so easily.

The past month has witnessed Trump doing a total about face on
virtually all his right-wing populist proposals during the election.

He’s backtracking so fast it’s a wonder he hasn’t tripped
over himself. (Check that, he has).

What explains his 180 degree turnabout?

Was his talk of right wing populism during the campaign
all political election hype?

Tell the people whatever they want to hear to get elected, and
then go do whatever the moneybags really running the show
want from you---which is big tax cuts, massive across-the-board
deregulation, end the taxation on Obamacare and we don’t care
what happens to the rest of it, give us some infrastructure spending
deals that resurrect wheeling-dealing commercial property
investments with big tax loopholes, and just tweak and rearrange
existing free trade treaties.

So what we actually got so far from Trump during his first 100 days
is government by ‘executive orders’—i.e. repealing environmental
protections, gutting immigrants’ rights, going after sanctuary cities,
opening up national monuments and parks to mining and cattle
exploitation, subsidizing killer coal companies, attacking consumer
protection, smoke and mirror changes to H1-B skilled worker import
quotas that haven’t changed, gutting K-12 education and shifting
funds to private schools from public, opening up offshore drilling,
and so on.

But elsewhere it’s been a wholesale retreat from his election
positions, proposals, and promises.

Here’s a short list:

Trump does a reversal on China, from declaring it a currency
manipulator to offering it major concessions at the Mar-a-Lago
meeting, in exchange for help with North Korea.

One wonders if China’s offshore islands expansion is also part
of the deal.

From NATO is a waste of money and unnecessary, Trump shifts
to NATO is the great bulwark against Russia.

From Putin the great leader to Putin is responsible for Syria
using poison gas--of which still no proof thereof by the way.

Is it true, or is it all in that great American tradition of “yellow
cake” (2003), “babies thrown from incubators” (1990), “tonkin
gulf”(1965), “the war on drugs” (Panama invasion), “Soviets are
in Grenada,” and “remember the Maine” (Spanish-American War)
incidents that always precede and justify US going to war.

From Mexico is going to pay for the wall, to there’ll be no wall
(latest per Homeland Security Secretary).

From dumping NAFTA, to “I’m not going to terminate
NAFTA”’ (Trump quote).

And then there’s Trump’s staged press conferences with companies
like Carrier Corp., indicating they’re not going to export some jobs
to Mexico for now (as they continue to plan to export still others at
the same time).

And the list of companies announcing jobs they intend to hire in
the US without saying when, or that they already had planned to
hire them anyway prior to the press conference.

From cancelling the TTP free trade deal (already killed in
Congress), to declaring a reopening of the TTIP free trade
deal with Europe.

And what about the silent deal Trump struck with Japan’s prime
minister, Shinzo Abe, when he was here?

It’s been leaked that Japan will pick up the lead on the TPP
renegotiations and the U.S. will join it later.

Or Mexico’s recent offer to the U.S. to just apply the TPP terms
to a new ‘reform’ of NAFTA by Mexico and the U..S?

Watch both these back door free trade resurrections,
they’re coming too.

And what about Trump’s organizational about face, with right wing
ideologue Steve Bannon banished from the National Security Council
and pro-Russia general Flynn banished from the government?

What I also find interesting is the intense media attack on
Trump— focusing on his Russia connection, his tax returns,
nepotism in the White House, his companies’ benefiting (a
violation of the emoluments clause of the US constitution)
and calls for impeachment in Congress—all of sudden all the
above have disappeared from view in the media front page.

They’ve been put on the back burner in Congress and the press.

And there’s no more damaging leaks coming weekly from the
intelligence spooks either.

Instead, what we hear is talk about ‘now he’s coming around’
beginning to appear presidential.

Is all that just coincidental? Hmmm.

Is this a presidency where the Donald gets to sit on the second
floor of the White House and do his late night tweets, and the
bureaucrats scurry the next day to clean up?

Where Donald is brought downstairs to the oval office for Executive
Order signings or occasional reporter interviews and then trotted
back upstairs?

Is it a presidency where he makes his late night calls to his
moneybag friends, like the billionaire Mercers and others,
to find out ‘how am I doing guys’?

While the rest of the representatives of the economic and political
elite run the show?

Is this a Trump presidency, or a government by Generals-Goldman
Sachs-Pence, with son in law Kushner functioning as intermediary
between them and the Donald?

A government of second floor tweets and first floor executive order
signing events?

The quality of the American presidency has been in steady decline
for decades.

From the crook Nixon to the inept peanut farmer, Carter; from
the movie-actor, camera friendly Reagan to the morally sleezy
opportunist Bill Clinton; from know-nothing George Bush to the
super-cautious false progressive Obama; and now to the fake right
populist, blowhard, tweety-bird called Donald Trump.

We’re going to need a lot of luck to get through the next three and
a half years folks!
