Kinetics Of Empire

Kinetics Of Empire

By Paul Edwards
Information Clearing House
July 31, 2016

All life systems have laws that govern them, identified or not.

Many are beyond human capacity to catalog and comprehend.

But not all.

Newton said that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction and nailed that to the wall of physics.

Social sciences can’t match such precision.

John Stuart Mill observed that against great political power, a
small resistance does not have a small effect: it has no effect
at all.

One could argue sentimentally, of course, but history tends to
bear him out.

Are there laws that govern empires?

Formed by conquest and exploiting subject nations, they must
have the might both to subdue and to rule. (Viz. Rome, Czarist
Russia, Nazi Germany, Victorian England)

Another constant is that their intake of loot from abroad and from bleeding their own people is endlessly consumed in fueling the engine of dominion until the running balance goes negative.

Then imperial recession begins.

A third is that as the capacity to rule its colonies fails, repression
at home must increase to quash incipient rebellion.

The death camps of Hitler and the gulags of Stalin were final solutions to largely domestic concerns.

These may or may not be laws, exactly, but they are common
to the genus and it is abundantly clear by now that America belongs
to it.

No point in recounting our expeditionary insanities.

Everyone’s memorized them.

They’re the recurring nightmares of our collective consciousness.

Routine police murder of blacks is the obverse of the horrific
brutality our mercenaries inflict on the peoples of countries
we’ve destroyed.

Imperial murder abroad necessitates commensurate racist
homicide at home.

This is how it works.

And the darkest reality is that all our killing power--and there is
much in reserve; our deluded elite may yet provoke world war--is
useless to maintain our shabby and corrupt hegemony, shattered
as it now is by a long string of appalling, degrading, and shameful
failures.

Kipling wrote of Brittania waning but his words frame the end of
all empires:

“Far-called, our navies melt away; On dune and headland sinks the fire: Lo, all our pomp of yesterday, is one with Nineveh and Tyre!”

Imperial America is functioning predictably, robotically, on kinetic
principles it cannot alter.

The Last Best Hope of Mankind has evolved into a cruel, blind,
autonomic Death Star, hurtling inexorably toward its end.

Ironically, the fact of the Exceptional Nation’s demise will be
entirely unexceptional.

No one can say what the trigger mechanism will be or what will
follow.

Imperial dissolution is as complex as expansion and less
predictable.

There was general and total disintegration in Rome.

Systemic breakdowns in Bourbon France and Romanov Russia led
to revolutions that tore those societies apart.

The pulverization of Banzai Japan and Nazi Germany led through
ashes to reconstitution.

And war bankruptcy and implosion sank Great Britain from great
power to welfare basket case.

What will be undeniably unique in the American Empire’s end is
the scale on which disintegration will occur.

Never in history has so mighty a power been so inextricably
and irremediably entangled with so much of the world.

Whether our dissolution comes through annihilation by war,
or evisceration through financial meltdown, it will be the
greatest act of state terrorism ever inflicted on mankind.

In this catastrophic imperial suicide the collateral damage will be
the world.

The Power of “Nyet”

The Power of “Nyet”

By Dmitry Orlov
Information Clearing House
July 29, 2016

The way things are supposed to work on this planet is like this: in the United States, the power structures (public and private) decide what they want the rest of the world to do.

They communicate their wishes through official and unofficial channels, expecting automatic cooperation.

If cooperation is not immediately forthcoming, they apply political, financial and economic pressure.

If that still doesn’t produce the intended effect, they attempt
regime change through a color revolution or a military coup, or
organize and finance an insurgency leading to terrorist attacks
and civil war in the recalcitrant nation.

If that still doesn’t work, they bomb the country back to the stone age.

This is the way it worked in the 1990s and the 2000s, but as of late
a new dynamic has emerged.

In the beginning it was centered on Russia, but the phenomenon has since spread around the world and is about to engulf the United States itself.

It works like this: the United States decides what it wants Russia to do and communicates its wishes, expecting automatic cooperation.

Russia says, “Nyet.”

The United States then runs through all of the above steps up to but not including the bombing campaign, from which it is deterred by Russia’s nuclear deterrent.

The answer remains, “Nyet.”

One could perhaps imagine that some smart person within the
US power structure would pipe up and say:

“Based on the evidence before us, dictating our terms to Russia doesn’t work; let’s try negotiating with Russia in good faith as equals.”

And then everybody else would slap their heads and say, "Wow!
That's brilliant! Why didn't we think of that?"

But instead that person would be fired that very same day because, you see, American global hegemony is nonnegotiable.

And so what happens instead is that the Americans act baffled, regroup and try again, making for quite an amusing spectacle.

The whole Edward Snowden imbroglio was particularly fun to watch.

The US demanded his extradition.

The Russians said: “Nyet, our constitution forbids it.”

And then, hilariously, some voices in the West demanded in response that Russia change its constitution!

The response, requiring no translation, was “Xa-xa-xa-xa-xa!”

Less funny is the impasse over Syria: the Americans have been continuously demanding that Russia go along with their plan to overthrow Bashar Assad.

The unchanging Russian response has been: “Nyet, the Syrians
get to decide on their leadership, not Russia, and not the US.”

Each time they hear it, the Americans scratch their heads and…
try again.

John Kerry was just recently in Moscow, holding a marathon, “Negotiating Session” with Putin and Lavrov.

Below is a photo of Kerry talking to Putin and Lavrov in Moscow a week or so ago, and their facial expressions are hard to misread.

There’s Kerry, with his back to the camera, babbling away as
per usual.

Lavrov’s face says: “I can’t believe I have to sit here and listen
to this nonsense again.”

Putin’s face says: “Oh the poor idiot, he can’t bring himself
to understand that we’re just going to say, ‘Nyet’ again.”

Kerry flew home with yet another, “Nyet.”

What’s worse, other countries are now getting into the act.

The Americans told the Brits exactly how to vote, and yet the Brits said, “Nyet” and voted for Brexit.

The Americans told the Europeans to accept the horrendous
corporate power grab that is the Transatlantic Trade and
Investment Partnership (TTIP), and the French said, “Nyet,
it shall not pass.”

The US organized yet another military coup in Turkey to replace
Erdoǧan with somebody who won’t try to play nice with Russia,
and the Turks said, “Nyet” to that too.

And now, horror of horrors, there is Donald Trump saying, “Nyet”
to all sorts of things like, NATO, offshoring American jobs, letting
in a flood of migrants, globalization, weapons for Ukrainian Nazis,
free trade…

The corrosive psychological effect of, “Nyet” on the American hegemonic psyche cannot be underestimated.

If you are supposed to think and act like a hegemon, but only the thinking part still works, then the result is cognitive dissonance.

If your job is to bully nations around, and the nations can no longer be bullied, then your job becomes a joke, and you turn into a mental patient.

The resulting madness has recently produced quite an interesting symptom: some number of US State Department staffers signed a letter, which was promptly leaked, calling for a bombing campaign against Syria in order to overthrow Bashar Assad.

These are diplomats.

Diplomacy is the art of avoiding war by talking.

Diplomats who call for war are not being exactly… diplomatic.

You could say that they are incompetent diplomats, but that
wouldn’t go far enough (most of the competent diplomats left
the service during the second Bush administration, many of them
in disgust over having to lie about the rationale for the Iraq war).

The truth is, they are sick, deranged non-diplomatic warmongers.

Such is the power of this one simple Russian word that
they have quite literally lost their minds.

But it would be unfair to single out the State Department.

It is as if the entire American body politic has been infected
by a putrid miasma.

It permeates all things and makes life miserable.

In spite of the mounting problems, most other things in the US are still somewhat manageable, but this one thing the draining away of the ability to bully the whole world, ruins everything.

It’s mid-summer, the nation is at the beach.

The beach blanket is moth-eaten and threadbare, the beach
umbrella has holes in it, the soft drinks in the cooler are laced with
nasty chemicals and the summer reading is boring… and then there
is a dead whale decomposing nearby, whose name is, “Nyet.”

It just ruins the whole ambiance!

The media chattering heads and the establishment politicos are at
this point painfully aware of this problem, and their predictable
reaction is to blame it on what they perceive as its ultimate source:

Russia, conveniently personified by Putin.

“If you aren’t voting for Clinton, you are voting for Putin” is one
recently minted political trope.

Another is that Trump is Putin’s agent.

Any public figure that declines to take a pro-establishment
stance is automatically labeled, “Putin’s useful idiot.”

Taken at face value, such claims are preposterous.

But there is a deeper explanation for them: what ties them
all together is the power of, “Nyet.”

A vote for Sanders is a, “Nyet” vote.

The Democratic establishment produced a candidate and told
people to vote for her, and most of the young people said, “Nyet.”

Same thing with Trump.

The Republican establishment trotted out its, "Seven Dwarfs"
and told people to vote for any one of them, and yet most of
the disenfranchised working-class white people said, “Nyet”
and voted for, "Snow White" the outsider.

It is a hopeful sign that people throughout the Washington
dominated world are discovering the power of, “Nyet.”

The establishment may still look spiffy on the outside, but under
the shiny new paint there hides a rotten hull, with water coming
in though every open seam.

A sufficiently resounding, “Nyet” will probably be enough to cause it to founder, suddenly making room for some very necessary changes.

When that happens, please remember to thank Russia… or, if you insist, Putin.

The Democratic National Convention

The Democratic National Convention

By Alan Maki
July 26, 2016

What a circus the Democratic Party National Convention is... And
the acts don't even rise to the level of being second rate.

No doubt many dissatisfied voters will be demanding the price paid
for admission be returned.

The emails show the details of the corrupt manipulation and control
and the Democrats are focused on who hacked the emails instead of
what these emails really represent: a complete disdain and
undermining of democracy.

No solutions for any of the problems forced upon working class
families by Wall Street.

Peace doesn't even rate a mention.

Nicely framed hollow rhetoric manipulated to sound progressive but
nothing but a facade for Wall Street warmongering and austerity.

Once again we get a denunciation of everything Republican while
Clinton's support from the sleaziest neo-cons and neo-liberals tells
the true story of what we are going to get.

We have a political system as thoroughly rotten to the core and
bankrupt as the capitalist system itself which no one should find
surprising.

A new party is in order.

WikiLeaks Proves Primary Was Rigged

WikiLeaks Proves Primary Was Rigged

By Michael Sainato
Observer.com
July 24, 2016

On July 25, the Democratic National Convention will begin in Philadelphia, Pa.

To commemorate the event and its embrace of corrupt politician Hillary Clinton as the Democratic nominee, Wikileaks is releasing thousands of DNC/Clinton emails.

In its recent leak of 20,000 DNC emails from January 2015 to May 2016, DNC staff discuss how to deal with Bernie Sanders’ popularity as a challenge to Clinton’s candidacy.

Instead of treating Sanders as a viable candidate for the Democratic ticket, the DNC worked against him and his campaign to ensure Clinton received the nomination.

One email from DNC Deputy Communications Director Eric Walker
to several DNC staffers cites two news articles showing Sanders
leading in Rhode Island and the limited number of polling locations
in the state: “If she outperforms this polling, the Bernie camp will
go nuts and allege misconduct. They’ll probably complain
regardless, actually.”

Instead of treating Sanders with impartiality, the DNC exhibits resentful disdain toward him and the thousands of disenfranchised voters he could have brought into the party.

“Wondering if there’s a good Bernie narrative for a story, which is
that Bernie never ever had his act together, that his campaign was
a mess,” wrote DNC Deputy Communications Director Mark
Paustenbach to DNC Communications Director Luis Miranda, in
response to backlash over DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz
shutting off the Sanders campaign’s access to voter database files.

Another chain reveals MSNBC’s Chuck Todd and DNC staff members discussing how to discredit MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski’s call for Wasserman Schultz to resign.

Most of the emails released come from seven prominent DNC staff members: senior adviser Andrew Wright, national finance director Jordon Kaplan, finance chief of staff Scott Comer, Northern California finance director Robert Stowe, finance director of data and strategic initiatives Daniel Parrish, finance director Allen Zachary and Miranda.

The release provides further evidence the DNC broke its own charter violations by favoring Clinton as the Democratic presidential nominee, long before any votes were cast.

Over the past several weeks, Guccifer 2.0 released several internal memos showing DNC staff strategizing to make Clinton the presidential nominee, as early as March 2015.

In June 2016, Florida-based law firm, Beck & Lee, filed a class
action lawsuit against Wasserman Schultz and the DNC based on
the revelations from these leaked files.

Other emails show DNC staff in damage control over allegations
from the Sanders campaign, when a report corroborated by a
Politico revealed the DNC’s joint fundraising committee with the
Clinton campaign was laundering money to the Clinton campaign
instead of fundraising for down-ticket Democrats.

Regardless of the fundraising tactics, because both major campaigns didn’t agree to use the joint fundraising committee super-PAC with the DNC, the DNC should have recused itself from participating with just the Clinton campaign.

The Wikileaks and Guccifer 2.0 leaks are the perfect end to a Democratic primary that undermined democracy at every possible opportunity while maintaining plausible deniability.

The party’s rules, including the use of super delegates, who
disproportionately endorsed Clinton before the primaries began,
are intended to provide the Democratic Party leverage over the
election process.

Throughout the primaries, decisions were made by DNC officials
to help Clinton build and maintain a lead over Sanders.

More votes were cast for Clinton, but they were cast at the behest
of a Democratic Party that downplayed her shortfalls to the extent
that Sanders not only had to run against Clinton but also against the
entire Democratic Establishment.

Heading into the Democratic National Convention, voters are
beginning to understand that their voices are of little concern
to the leadership.

Robert Reich's Fraud

Robert Reich's Fraud

By Eric Zuesse
Real Independent News & Film
July 23, 2016

Robert Reich, the proud friend of Hillary Clinton since she was
19 years old, says, “there has never been any finding that Hillary
Clinton engaged in illegal behavior.”

Everyone except the Obama Administration has “found” that in her handling of her State Department emails, she broke at least the following six U.S. federal criminal laws (none of which laws was so much as considered by the FBI’s ‘investigation’, because it’s too obvious that she did what these laws describe — that she violated each one of these laws):

————

18 U.S. Code § 2232 — Destruction or removal of property to prevent seizure

(a) Destruction or Removal of Property To Prevent Seizure

Whoever, before, during, or after any search for or seizure of property by any person authorized to make such search or seizure, knowingly destroys, damages, wastes, disposes of, transfers, or otherwise takes any action, or knowingly attempts to destroy, damage, waste, dispose of, transfer, or otherwise take any action, for the purpose of preventing or impairing the Government’s lawful authority to take such property into its custody or control or to continue holding such property under its lawful custody and control, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both.

(b) Impairment of In Rem Jurisdiction

Whoever, knowing that property is subject to the in rem jurisdiction of a United States court for purposes of civil forfeiture under Federal law, knowingly and without authority from that court, destroys, damages, wastes, disposes of, transfers, or otherwise takes any action, or knowingly attempts to destroy, damage, waste, dispose of, transfer, or otherwise take any action, for the purpose of impairing or defeating the court’s continuing in rem jurisdiction over the property, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both.

——

18 U.S. Code § 1512 — Tampering with a witness, victim, or an informant

(c) Whoever corruptly

(1) alters, destroys, mutilates, or conceals a record, document, or other object, or attempts to do so, with the intent to impair the object’s integrity or availability for use in an official proceeding; or

(2) otherwise obstructs, influences, or impedes any official proceeding, or attempts to do so,

shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both.

——

18 U.S. Code § 1519 — Destruction, alteration, or falsification of records in Federal investigations and bankruptcy

Whoever knowingly alters, destroys, mutilates, conceals, covers up, falsifies, or makes a false entry in any record, document, or tangible object with the intent to impede, obstruct, or influence the investigation or proper administration of any matter within the jurisdiction of any department or agency of the United States or any case filed under title 11, or in relation to or contemplation of any such matter or case, shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both.

——

18 U.S. Code § 2071 — Concealment, removal, or mutilation generally

(a) Whoever willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates,
obliterates, or destroys, or attempts to do so, or, with intent to do
so takes and carries away any record, proceeding, map, book,
paper, document, or other thing, filed or deposited with any clerk
or officer of any court of the United States, or in any public office,
or with any judicial or public officer of the United States, shall be
fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or
both.

(b) Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States. As used in this subsection, the term “office” does not include the office held by any person as a retired officer of the Armed Forces of the United States.

——

18 U.S. Code § 641 — Public money, property or records

Whoever embezzles, steals, purloins, or knowingly converts to his
use, or the use of another, or without authority, sells, conveys or
disposes of any record, voucher, money, or thing of value of the
United States or of any department or agency thereof, or any
property made or being made under contract for the United States
or any department or agency thereof, …

Shall be fined not more than $10,000 or imprisoned not more
than ten years or both. …

——

18 U.S. Code § 793 — Gathering, transmitting or losing defense
information …

(f) Whoever, being entrusted with or having lawful possession or control of any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, instrument, appliance, note, or information, relating to the national defense, (1) through gross negligence permits the same to be removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of his trust, or to be lost, stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, or (2) having knowledge that the same has been illegally removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of its trust, or lost, or stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, and fails to make prompt report of such loss, theft, abstraction, or destruction to his superior officer —

Shall be fined not more than $10, 000 or imprisoned not more
than ten years, or both.

(g) If two or more persons conspire to violate any of the foregoing provisions of this section, and one or more of such persons do any act to effect the object of the conspiracy, each of the parties to such conspiracy, shall be subject to the punishment provided for the offense which is the object of such conspiracy.

————

Selective prosecution is the most extreme when a prosecutor doesn’t even consider prosecuting a person for the easiest-to-convict charges, the “slam-dunk” ones — the criminal laws that most blatantly and unequivocally describe what the person most unquestionably (and easily provably) did, in fact, do — the least-debatable criminal violations in the particular case that is available to law-enforcement.

Not even to investigate the most obvious laws that were violated,
is to not enforce the most-relevant laws, in the particular matter.

Those are the laws.

Other laws in the Clinton emails matter (such as the laws that concern only the handling of classified information, and where motive is a key factor) can then be the subjects of possible additional investigations, after an indictment is reached on these primary ones; but, in the Clinton emails-case, those less-certain matters were instead the only charges that were even being considered, at all.

What’s blatantly clear now, to a large portion of the public (but noticeably ignored by Reich), is that there is no equal treatment under law remaining in this country, if there ever was.

And here is absolute proof of this inequality-in-the-enforcement-
of-the-laws, regarding specifically Hillary Clinton’s email operation.

Those people were convicted for violating these laws; she wasn’t even investigated for violating any of these laws.

FBI Director James Comey simply lied.

And Robert Reich takes that lie as having exonerated Clinton:

“There has never been any finding that Hillary Clinton engaged in
illegal behavior” — as if Comey’s statement were some sort of
finding of her innocence, regarding her State Department emails
operation — as if Comey, who was appointed by the very same man,
Obama, who wants Clinton to be his successor in the White House,
is the only person whose “finding” has significance, or should have
significance, or (perhaps if Trump becomes the next President) will
have significance.

Furthermore, Obama and his Attorney General aren’t even bound
by the FBI Director’s opinion.

But they know that Comey was just doing their dirty-work,
by serving as the mouthpiece for it.

This Administration is just a gang, no different in that respect,
than the George W. Bush Administration were.

Anyone who looks at those six laws, knows that Reich’s statement was a fraud, designed perhaps to ingratiate himself to a future President Hillary Clinton (and maybe win a post in her Administration), but not designed to constitute honest journalism — which it clearly does not.

Dark Age Cometh

Dark Age Cometh

By Dmitry Samoylov
Information Clearing House
July 21, 2016

The world has fallen behind itself.

It turns out the processes of secularization and technological progress have raced ahead of civilization’s collective consciousness.

People were summoned to explore the heavens, they were promised universal prosperity, a world without borders, gender equality, and a third gender, and a fourth, and a fifth, and watermelons that taste like raccoons, and raccoons with the hair of mermaids.

But people wanted a hug, warm tea, summers in the country,
and to spend time with their relatives.

The idea of globalization has turned out to have been privatized
by large capital, which needs a market of 300 million consumers,
500 million, a billion…

But the people just want somebody to buy their rutabagas,
and that’s it.

“But thanks to globalization, everyone gets to develop—the little
homesteads, the individual entrepreneurs, the hired hands…”

Sure, yeah.

Sounds good.

Pardon me while I hit the snooze button one more time.

“But we must open our borders to all those who are suffering
and wandering forlornly. As a nation, we were formed of those
who came here from all sorts of different parts of the world…”

How very true!

Hey, look, there is this dude with funny hair saying that
we can build a wall and live behind it!

Wouldn’t that be nice?

It would be safe and secure, living behind a wall,
warm and comfy.

That’s why The Game of Thrones is such a popular success.

There, the world changes rapidly within a constant set of
constraints established once and for all.

In that world there is no militant atheism.

That world was created once, and then everything happens
within its borders.

Meanwhile, our contemporary world changes in dastardly
ways as far as the people are concerned.

Investments lose value, pensions are cancelled… Let’s just
hope that there isn’t a war, that goes without saying.

And every day television tells us whom we should love.

One day it’s Israel, the next day it’s Britain, or Hillary Clinton.

But people just want to love themselves, and those around them.

The stress of all this is simply unbearable.

The world, which consists of people, can’t cope with this
postmodernism, and so it is quietly crawling back into its
conservative lair.

The idea of building a wall is clear to all.

Yes, it’s a populist daydream.

But it is easy to understand, and expressed in human language.

Global competitiveness and market share, on the other hand,
is the sound a woodpecker doing it with a dead tree.

You can’t fool people, at least not over the long term.

People sense where there is true humanity,
and where it’s just dogs barking at the moon.

Right now humanity is like a cement airplane that’s been
fitted with the most powerful engines in the world.

It was washed and waxed, fueled it up, throttled up and
the engines sheared off and flew away in different directions.

And the airplane rolled down the airstrip for a bit,
stopped and went to sleep.

It is dreaming of the open sky, and a bird’s eye view of the Earth,
and a world without borders, and the eternal brotherhood of all
peoples, and a common currency, and various other things that
are pleasant only in your sleep.

A Dark Age cometh.

It may not be particularly dark, but it is sure to be endless.

An Officer and A Gentlemen

An Officer and A Gentlemen

By Expotera
July 18, 2016

Yesterday six Baton Rouge Police Officers were shot in the Line of
Duty, resulting in the very tragic and extremely sad deaths of three
of these very brave Officers.

One of these very brave Officer's was a man by the name of Officer
Montrell Jackson and ten days ago Officer Jackson wrote the below
sincere, heartfelt, poignant, as well as hauntingly beautiful words
and message on Facebook.

Now in honor of Officer Jackson and the other Baton Rouge as well
as Dallas Police Officers who have now loss their lives in the Line
of Duty over these past couple of very sad and troubling weeks, I
am now reposting Officer Jackson's message and words below, so
that his words and his message are never, ever, forgotten and may
Officer Jackson, and his fellow incredibly brave Officers, never,
ever, ever, be, "Forgotten" as well:

I am tired physically and emotionally.

Disappointed in some family, friends, and officers for some reckless comments but hey what's in your heart is in your heart.

I still love you all because hate takes too much energy but I definitely won't be looking at you the same.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out to me or my wife
it was needed and much appreciated.

I swear to God I love this city but I wonder if this city loves me.

In uniform I get nasty hateful looks and out of uniform I am considered a threat.

I've experienced so much in my short life and these last 3 days
have tested me to the core.

When people you know begin to question your integrity you realize
they don't know you at all.

Look at my actions they speak LOUD and CLEAR.

Finally I personally want to send prayers out to everyone directly
affected by this tragedy.

These are trying times.

Please don't let hate infect your heart.

This city MUST and WILL get better.

I'm working in these streets so any protesters, friends, family, or whoever, if you see me and need a hug or want to say a prayer.

I got you.

The Delusion ‘I Am Not Responsible’

The Delusion ‘I Am Not Responsible’

By Robert J. Burrowes
Real Independent News & Film
Saturday, July 16, 2016

One of the many interesting details to be learned by understanding human psychology is how a person’s unconscious fear works in a myriad of ways to make them believe that they bear no responsibility for a particular problem.

This psychological dysfunctionality cripples a substantial portion
of the human population in ways that work against the possibility
of achieving worthwhile outcomes for themselves, other
individuals, communities, and the world as a whole.

In an era when human extinction is now a likely near-term outcome
of this dysfunctionality, it is obviously particularly problematic.

So why does this happen and how does it manifest?

In essence, if a person is frightened by the circumstances of others or a particular set of events, their fear will often unconsciously delude them into believing and behaving as if they bear no responsibility for playing a part in addressing the problem.

This fear works particularly easily when the person or people
concerned live at considerable social and/or geographic distance
or when the events occur in another place.

But it can also work with someone who is socially or geographically
close, or with an event that occurs nearby.

Let me illustrate this common behaviour with several examples
which might stimulate your awareness of having witnessed it too.

I first became seriously interested in this phenomenon after hearing someone, who had just returned from India, describe the many street beggars in India as ‘living a subsistence lifestyle’.

As I listened to this individual, I could immediately perceive that
they were very frightened by their experience but in a way that
made them not want to help.

Given that this individual has considerable wealth, it was
immediately apparent to me that the individual was attempting to
conceal from themselves their unconscious guilt (about their own
wealth and how this was acquired) but I could perceive an element
of anger in their response as well.

This anger was obviously shaping the way in which street beggars were perceived so that there was no apparent need to do anything.

So what was the unconscious anger about?

Most probably about not getting help themselves when they needed
it as a child.

A widespread version of this particular fear and the delusion that arises from it, is the belief that it is the direct outcome of the decisions of others that make them responsible for the circumstances in which they find themselves.

Obviously, this belief is widespread among those who refuse to take structural violence, such as the exploitative way in which the global economy functions, into account.

If the victim can be blamed for their circumstances then ‘I am not responsible’ in any way.

Men who like to blame women who have been sexually assaulted
for their ‘provocative dress’ are also exhibiting this fear and its
attendant delusional behaviour.

But perhaps the most obvious manifestation of evading
responsibility occurs when instead of doing what they
can to assist someone in need, a person laments ‘not
being able’ to do something more significant.

And by doing this, their fear enables them to conceal that they might, in fact, have done something that would have helped.

This often happens, for example, when someone is too scared to offer help because it might require the agreement of someone else (such as a spouse) who (unconsciously) frightens them.

But there are other reasons why their fear might generate this behaviour as well.

Another common way of evading taking responsibility (while, in this case, deluding yourself that you are not) is to offer someone who needs help something that they do not need and then, when they refuse it, to interpret this as ‘confirmation’ that they do not need your help.

A variation of this behaviour is to dispose of something that you
do not want and to delude yourself that you are, in fact, ‘helping’.

I first became fully aware of this version of evading responsibility (and assuaging guilt) when I was working in a refugee camp in the Sudan at the height of the Ethiopian war and famine in 1985.

Companies all over the world were ‘giving’ away unwanted stock of unsaleable goods (presumably for a tax benefit) to aid agencies who were then trying to find ways to use it. And not always successfully.

I will never forget seeing the Wad Kowli Refugee Camp for the
first time with its wonderfully useless lightweight and colourful
overnight bushwalking tents instead of the large, heavy duty canvas
tents normally used in such difficult circumstances.

Better than nothing you might say. For a week, perhaps,
but only barely in 55 degrees Celsius.

Another popular way of evading responsibility is to delude yourself about the precise circumstances in which someone finds themselves.

For example, if your fear makes you focus your attention on an irrelevant detail, such as the pleasantness of your memory of a town as a tourist destination, rather than the fact that someone who lives there is homeless, then it is easy to delude yourself that their life must be okay and to behave in accordance with your delusion rather than the reality of the other person’s life.

One way that some people evade responsibility is to delude themselves that a person who needs help is ‘not contributing’ while also deluding themselves about the importance of their own efforts.

This is just one of many delusions that wealthy people often have to self-justify their wealth while many people who work extremely hard are paid a pittance (or nothing) for their time, expertise and labour.

Variations of another delusion include ‘I can only give what I have got’ and ‘I can’t afford it’ (but you might know of others), which exposes the fear that makes a person believe that they have very little irrespective of their (sometimes considerable) material wealth.

This fear/delusion combination arises because, in the emotional sense, the person probably does have ‘very little’.

If a person is denied their emotional needs as a child, they will
often learn to regard material possessions as the only measure
of value in the quality of their life.

And because material possessions can never replace an emotional need, no amount of material wealth can ever feel as if it is ‘enough’.

If someone is too scared to accept any responsibility for helping despite the sometimes obvious distress of a person in need, they might even ask for reassurance, for example by asking ‘Are you okay?’

But the question is meaningless and asked in such a way that the person in need might even know that no help will be forthcoming.

They might even offer the reassurance sought despite having
to lie to do so.

A common way in which some people, particularly academics,
evade responsibility is to offer an explanation and/or theory
about a social problem but then take no action to change things
themselves.

Another widespread way of evading responsibility, especially among what I call ‘the love and light brigade’, is to focus attention on ‘positives’ (the ‘good’ news) rather than truthfully presenting information about the state of our world and then inviting powerful responses to that truth.

Deluding ourselves that we can avoid dealing with reality, much of which happens to be extremely unpleasant and ugly, is a frightened and powerless way of approaching the world.

But it is very common.

Many people evade responsibility, of course, simply by believing
and acting as if someone else, perhaps even ‘the government’, is
‘properly’ responsible.

Undoubtedly, however, the most widespread ways of evading
responsibility are to deny any responsibility for military violence
while paying the taxes to finance it.

Denying any responsibility for adverse environmental and climate impacts while making no effort to reduce consumption.

Denying any responsibility for the exploitation of other people
while buying the cheap products produced by their exploited
(and sometimes slave) labour.

Denying any responsibility for the exploitation of animals despite eating and/or otherwise consuming a range of animal products.

And denying any part in inflicting violence, especially on children, without understanding the many forms this violence can take.

Ultimately, of course, we evade responsibility by ignoring the existence of a problem.

Despite everything presented above, it should not be interpreted
to mean that we should all take responsibility for everything that
is wrong with the world.

There is, obviously, a great deal wrong and the most committed person cannot do something about all of it.

However, we can make powerful choices, based on an assessment of the range of problems that interest us, to intervene in ways large or small to make a difference.

This is vastly better than fearfully deluding ourselves and/or making token gestures.

Moreover, powerful choices are vital in this world.

We face a vast array of violent challenges, some of which threaten near-term human extinction.

In this context, it is unwise to leave responsibility for getting us out of this mess to others, and particularly those insane elites whose political agents (who many still naively believe that we ‘elect’) so demonstrably fail to meaningfully address any of our major social, political, economic and environmental problems.

If you are interested in gaining greater insight into violent and
dysfunctional human behaviour, and what you can do about it,
you might like to read ‘Why Violence?’ and ‘Fearless Psychology
and Fearful Psychology: Principles and Practice’ mentioned above.

And if you are inclined to declare your own willingness to accept
some responsibility for addressing these violent and dysfunctional
behaviours, you might like to sign the online pledge of ‘The
People’s Charter to Create a Nonviolent World’ and to join those
participating in ‘The Flame Tree Project to Save Life on Earth’.

The real challenge is to ask yourself this question: where do I evade responsibility?

And to then ponder how you will take responsibility in future.

An Open Letter To Dallas, Texas

An Open Letter To Dallas, Texas

By Expotera
July 11, 2016

Dear Dallas, Texas:

Tomorrow your extremely brave and extremely courageous City,
Police Officers, and Citizens, will be holding a very, very, special,
as well as a very, very, sad, Interfaith Memorial Service for the
five fallen Dallas Police Officers who very, very, tragically loss
their lives, while very, very, very, bravely, protecting their fellow
Citizen's, as well as protecting their fellow Police Officer's last
week.

These five men who have now all loss their lives in the line of duty,
all loss their lives to a, "MONSTER" and this monster was actually
created by, and used to directly work for the two, "WAR CRIMINALS"
who have now invited themselves to not only attend this very
special memorial service, but to also speak at this very special
memorial service as well, George Bush and Barack Obama.

You see Dallas, Texas, as I now sit here writing this very open letter to each and every one of you, I cannot even begin to put into words just how, "Physically Repulsed" as well as just how, "Morally Outraged" I am in the fact that you have two of the biggest, "War Criminals" that are currently walking this earth now speaking at this service simply because, George Bush and Barack Obama trained this young man to become a heartless, coldblooded, "KILLER" just like the two of them, because let's face it, only certain men and certain people come to this earth fully believing that it is perfectly o.k. to go around this world killing millions of people with whom they have never, ever, met, and with whom they personally don't even know.

Most of us don't go around wanting to, 'Kill" anybody, especially
a stranger, and if most of us have ever, ever, seriously thought
about, "Killing" someone else, it is usually someone that we
directly know and someone we are directly upset and/or directly
angry with.

But to get a human being to the the point where they can, "Mentally" handle the thought of killing someone who they never even met, or who they don't even personally know, takes, "Training" and this is exactly what our Military and it's Leaders have now been doing under both the Bush Administration, as well as the Obama Administration, is, "Training" all of our young people to become cold blooded as well as cold hearted, "Killers" because our young people and our, "Soldiers" are no longer being used to protect, "America" or to defend us as it's citizens.

No, our young people and our Military are now being used to
illegally, "Invade" other Countries, therefore the training of these
young people and of these young soldiers has now become mentally
teaching and psychologically brainwashing them into believing that
it is perfectly o.k. for them to, "Kill" other people who they do not
personally know, and for no other logically and/or legitimate
reason other than, "I Was Told To Do So" by George Bush, and/or
by Barack Obama.

So because of this, we now have millions upon millions of people who are all now walking around this earth completely believing that it is perfectly o.k. to, "Kill" anyone they want, and at anytime that they want, and the only way to stop the continued and exponential growth of these types of individuals who are now living among all of us, is to end of the, "Wars" that are now currently raging and being waged around this entire planet.

Now this could be very easily done, if only we would start, "Arresting" and start bringing to, "Justice" all of the, "War Criminals" like George Bush and Barack Obama.

But since America and American's refuse to, "Arrest" and refuse to
bring to, "Justice" all of these, "War Criminals" like George Bush,
and Barack Obama, America and American's now have to live in a
constant state of, "FEAR" as well as under a constant threat of,
"TERROR" simply because we now have all of these heartless and
coldblooded, "MONSTERS" who have now been fully created and in
some cases, fully trained by people like George Bush and Barack
Obama now living among us and I honestly can't even imagine what
these two criminally insane, "DEPOTS" would even have to say to all
of you down in Dallas, Texas tomorrow afternoon and at this point.

Dallas, Texas, I wonder if either one of these extremely cowardly assholes will apologize for creating this, "MONSTER" who just openly, "TERRORIZED" your City, by shooting 13 innocent people, and killing five innocent Dallas Police Officers??

Dallas, Texas, I wonder if either one of these intrinsically evil sons
of bitches will step up and take on any of the responsibility for all
the blood that has now been loss and shed by all of there far, far,
far, "Braver" fellow American's both here on American soil and over
on Foreign soil as well??

Dallas, Texas, George Bush and Barack Obama have brought nothing but, "Death, Debt, and Destruction" to America, and to the entire rest of the world, and as all of you who will now be attending this Interfaith Memorial Service listen to the extremely hollow, as well as extremely empty words of these two tiny shriveled, black hearted, "War Mongers" I sincerely hope, as well as sincerely pray, that atleast one of you in the crowd, takes off one of your, "Shoes" and throws it at them, and I also sincerely hope, as well as sincerely pray, that, "ALL" of you in attendance will stand up and turn your backs to each of them during their individual speeches as well.

Dallas, Texas, George Bush and Barack Obama do not deserve to
speak at this Interfaith Memorial Service because the fallen Police
Officers who are being remembered and being honored tomorrow
are men who lived, and are men who died serving and protecting
their Country, and their fellow American's which means they have
absolutely, positively, "NOTHING" in common with George Bush or
Barack Obama, because both George Bush and Barack Obama have
way more in common with the, "MONSTER" who killed them, which
is why they should go speak at his, "Funeral" instead of being
allowed to speak at this Interfaith Memorial Service for these five
fallen Dallas Police Officers.

Dallas, Texas, inclosing, may God bless You, may God bless your City, and may God bless your entire Police Department as well, and may God especially bless each and every one of you who has now loss one of your loved one's at the hands of one of George Bush's or Barack Obama's, fellow, cold blooded, and totally heartless, "MONSTERS" in our midst.

Sincerely,
Tony Whitcomb

"Your Momma" Barack Obama

"Your Momma" Barack Obama

By Expotera
July 9, 2016

Back when I was a child some 40 years ago, there were two words
that use to end all arguments, as well as end all other name calling
between us as kids as well, and those two words were simply "Your
Momma" because as soon as someone said, "Your Momma" all bets
were off and it was on like, "Donkey Kong" because, "Your Momma"
simply meant I and we are now done talking and now it is time to
fight.

So as of today, July 9, 2016 I am officially saying, "Your Momma"
to, "Barack Obama" because I am done talking to and about this
baby killing, pathological lying, war/credit criminal, and now
I simply want to box/fight him live on, "National T.V." because
he truly deserves to have his ass beat for being the first black,
"Nobel Peace Prize" winner to openly, "BOMB" seven black/brown
skinned countries, and for also putting his own country well over,
"$21 Trillion Dollars" in debt as well, and just for starts.

You see I now want Barack Obama to simply be a, "Man" and to
stop hiding behind all those much braver Secret Service Agents
who are now charged with both the truly awful, as well as the
truly ungodly responsibility of protecting him from all who now
hate him and who now want to do harm to him, for the killing
of their Father, Mother, Sister, Brother, and/or Child, because
these are truly the only people who really want to do serious
harm to him and for the record, these are the only people that
the Secret Service is currently, "Protecting" him from as well.

But in my case, I do not wish to, "Kill" him, I only want to box/fight
him on live t.v., which I know will never, ever, happen simply
because Barack's wife Michelle, is more of a quote, unquote, "MAN"
than Barack himself will ever be.

So once again, "Your Momma" Barack Obama because you promised
America, as well as American's, "Hope and Change" but all you have
delivered is, "Death and Debt" Barack.

All the blood that has now been spilled and all of the protest that
are now taking place is all your, "Fault" Barack, because your are
not a, "Leader" you are an, "Instigator" and you may be called,
"President" but you are nothing more than a common, "Criminal"
Barack.

So come fight me Barack, one-on-one, no weapons allowed, first
man to tap out loses, because only a truly punk ass, bitch ass, and
coward ass, "Man" would drop bombs on kids while they are playing
soccer on a open field, or while they are sleeping in their own beds,
and this is what you have now done Barack.

So by all means, come box/fight me Barack, because I said, "Your
Momma" Barack Obama, so now it is simply time to fight, and may
the best man, "WIN" Barack, and in the end may the best man rest
in, "PEACE" as well Barack, because in closing and in the final words
of Smokey Robinson:

Just like Pagliacci did,
I try to keep my surface hid,
Smiling in the crowd I try,
But in a lonely room I cry,
The tears of a clown....

The System Is Rigged

The System Is Rigged

The Fix For The Clinton's Has Been In For A Long Time

By Larry Klayman
Freedom Watch
July 6, 2016

Yesterday on news that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
has stated that it will not recommend prosecution of Hillary Clinton
for the illegal use of her private email server while Secretary of
State, Larry Klayman, a former Federal Prosecutor and Founder of
Judicial Watch, and Freedom Watch, had this comment:

As I have said and written repeatedly, the legal system is corrupt
to the core.

It favors the establishment and covers up its misdeeds – by both
Democrats and Republicans.

It is a club that divides up the riches and shares power at the
expense of the people, much like the National Football League
has the American and National conferences.

This latest example of how the elite protect each other comes
as no surprise.

Had FBI Director Comey recommended prosecution, his career
would have been over. The Democrats could have blocked any
future appointment.

While Comey has more integrity than most for a government
official, he would have been frozen out of official Washington
had he taken strong action, particularly in the face of President
Barack Obama's endorsement of Hillary Clinton.

Personal interests thus likely took precedent over the state
of the nation.

Stack this up with the role of the courts, which have largely
run interference for Hillary Clinton, and the Clinton's – both
Hillary and Bill Clinton – are now free to ascend to their throne
once again, selling everything in The White House that they can
get their hands on as they did largely with the Chinese in the
1990's.

They have a long history and pattern of illegality,
as I uncovered during their administration.

Indeed.

FBI Director Comey's statement yesterday did not concern
her sale of State Department access for money, which is
likely documented in her erased and deleted emails on her
private server.

Even Judge Emmet Sullivan, the only judge who has allowed
for discovery of Hillary Clinton's scam to hide email at the
State Department, cleverly delayed the commencement
of discovery long enough to allow for Hillary Clinton to be
cleared by the FBI, and win the Democratic presidential
nomination.

Then, when the discovery eventually got underway, contrary to law
and accepted practice he would not allow for video depositions to
be released publicly, and effectively allowed Clinton confidantes
to make bogus objections to questions and improperly take the 5th
Amendment.

Thus, while Sullivan had a bit more integrity than other Democrat
appointed judges who have been presiding over similar cases,
he cleverly delayed long enough to allow Hillary Clinton to get off
scot free.

The bottom line is this: the citizens of this country have again
been betrayed.

This is our final lesson that change will not come through the
legal system, but that the nation is indeed in a revolutionary
state.

While I pray for a non-violent revolution, the die is now cast and
we without any doubt are back to 1776, ironically one day after
the nation celebrated Independence Day on July 4th.
